A very good experience
Two batteries installed working with Growatt system and saving energy with solar panels even on an overcast day. Two guys fitting were smart, efficient and courteous and tidied up on completion. All in all - a very good experience :-)

A great experience
We came across Efficient Homes when we were looking for a company to finish the installation started by a crooked firm that has thankfully since gone out of business. Jesse & Liam have always been responsive, clear and helpful. After our initial experience, it was great to work with a company who deliver what was promised on time and on budget.

Shinephone
My battery and app were efficiently installed in August 2022. I stopped receiving data on my Shinephone app when my main electricity meter was changed by EDF. Since Efficient homes installed the battery and App, I rang you. I told that the app was working at your end but it wasn't on my phone. I was passed between you and EDF for 3 months before you told me the App belonged to Growatt and I should ring them. I did and an engineer had sorted the problem in an hour.

Swift and efficient service
Had a very easy experience with Josh - Rep' for Efficient Homes, he was pleasant, helpful, explained patiently the way the solar panels system works and how a battery would help to save money. There was absolutely no sales pressure at all, the talk through of how it all works was all that was needed to make the decision to invest in battery. The installers came and did the job with no fuss and it was completed in a relatively short time. Two complaints I have is that after the installation the fuse board cover wouldn't close (making it unsafe) so having phoned E.H. to request rectifying this problem the installers came back and ultimately taped the front cover to the back cover and now the unit is not properly closed and protected which isn't how a fuse board should be. It is still taped up! In addition they left 3 packs of 'hardware' including cables which they didn't need for the installation and which have now been dumped at the tip (very wastful). I would recommend them for the pre-purchase service and installation.

I have had my system for over a year…
I have had my system for over a year and it was installed by Efficient Homes. They came recommended by a friend and have to say they have been on it whenever we have had an issue. Have also recommended them to people in my village.

Following on from previous review of…
Following on from previous review of this company they gave rectified the problems previously stated and the battery pack is now functioning and appears to be working fine you can put some trust in this company.
My only concern is that they ask for payment the very next day following installation, I have never been asked to do this as I feel that you should know that the purchase us working correctly first

Secondly I would just like to address the point made about the payment being asked for the next day. As a company we do not take deposits upfront for additional equipment like battery's and we commission and complete the job's on our customers word of mouth trusting that they will pay once its done which is also specified in the contract you would have signed before the install went ahead.
So once the job is done the accountants department naturally call up after 24/48 hours and ask if you are happy with the job and have any questions and would you be happy to pay as the job is now complete and commissioned. If anything is brought to our attention at this point of course we rectify it before taking the final balance.

We realised our inverter was faulty on…
We realised our inverter was faulty on Saturday 6th January 2024. We really didn’t know where to turn the inverter needed renewing, I remember that Efficient Homes had done a medical check on our system some years ago so I called them on the following Monday morning I spoke to Jesse who called me back, he gave me information and a quote which we agreed and the inverter was renewed before 6pm that same day. No hard sell just useful information and prompt service.

System installed in November install…
System installed in November install carried out quickly but dongle not working, tried another not working said they would return next day (no visit) contacted them said they would attend (no visit) emails sent system still not working have tried on 12 occasions to get response and get problems resolved still no response.
Have now resorted to contacting system manufacturer to see if they can help, I cannot endorse this company as they appear to want your money but cannot give CUSTOMER SERVICE or carry out what they promise.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

The engineer who fitted the initial…first class
The engineers who fitted the installation were amazing not only did they complete the installation on the said day and time they worked in the pouring rain until 9pm at night. All the dealings we had with the company from the survey, installersors, right through to the office staff was first class.i would highly recommend them

Fast installation
Fitters arrived and carried out the installation in not very nice weather. Unfortunately they didn’t take any of the packaging away with them, so I have that to dispose of.
However, post install backup service is very good, battery now performs as expected. Early days but hopefully savings are just around the corner.

A helpful and informed assessment of…
A helpful and informed assessment of our solar panel system persuaded us that a battery system would be advantageous. The inverter and battery were fitted promptly and efficiently although the fitters did leave a bit of a mess to clear up.
Too early to tell whether the savings will be worth the outlay as we have only had it fitted for a few weeks.

Brilliant service
We knew what we wanted before the rep came and spoke to us. So we had quite a few specific questions. The rep was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He even advised how we could lower our daily usage.

Efficient and Professional
Following a phone call, an appointment was made to talk about having a second battery fitted which I agreed to have. The fitter came within a week and efficiently fitted the battery and said that he had put me on the night time tariff with my supplier. All in all,an efficient and professional job at a reasonable price.

This is my second Growatt battery that…
This is my second Growatt battery that I have added to my solar, EV and underfloor electric heating. I did this as I was so impressed by the original battery that EH fitted.
I have always experienced great communication and the engineers have on each occasion done a careful professional job. My only wish is that they would remove all the packaging!! I would have no hesitation in doing business with them again. I also no that 2 neighbours have also had a good experience.
