TOP Kundendienst Ekornes - Stressless

Ich habe über Kleinanzeigen gebrauchte, mehrere Jahre alte, Stresslesssessel gekauft.
Bei einem Sessel fehlten zwei Schrauben.
Die Firma Ecornes (deutscher Vertrieb) hat mir ohne weitere Nachfragen k o s t e n l o s zwei Ersatzschrauben geschickt.
Besserer Kndendienst geht nicht!

I purchased a Stressless Wing chair…

I purchased a Stressless Wing chair from a Nebraska Furniture Mart at a discount from their Discounted section of store. I also purchased additional warranty plan with the chair. The invoice stated "Final Sales", which I fully agree with. After only having the chair 8 months I started to see the leather wearing off in several areas. I first called NFM and quickly determined the Protection Plan was rubbish. They would not honor the Protection Plan. Since Ekornes (Stressless) is the manufacture with a three year warranty on faulty material, I contacted them. They refused to help because the invoice stated Final Sales. They recommend that I work with a Leather Repair person to resolve my problem. These $3800 products are not worth the hipe. Shame on NFM and Ekornes for not helping on their faulty material. 11-10-2025

Ekornes Horrible Company

We have three stressless chairs which we have purchased an authorized dealer, representative in New Jersey.

The most recent is one of your powered models. From the day we received it, it has been a MAJOR LEMON.

We have asked numerous times for this world class company???😡, to please approve the replacement of the chair, instead of wasting endless hours for both their authorized dealer and ourselves and this company has flat out refused😡

The chair once again is not working and the headrest is frozen in the most uncomfortable position.

Ekornes - Stressless has attempted every method to avoid the easiest solution, with their dealer bearing the brunt of their unyielding stance.

We are beyond frustrated, disgusted, infuriated that Ekornes will not truly stand by their product and supposed worldwide reputation???

I have not taken to various social media platforms to share all of this and remain optimistic that we will not have to😡

Ekorness Stressless Stella sofa problems

bought a 6k stressless Stella sofa. Since having this sofa we have had a lot of issues with the seat padding which have collapsed and the leather has creased badly. Barker and Stonehouse the retailer did their best to help, but then Ekorness got involved and sent their own people. A report was done and parts requested. It took 3 attempts to get it right following the repairer instructions. It took so long that Ekorness then said it was out of warranty an absolute disgrace. I requested my money back but no joy with Ekorness. They pretend they have superior quality but infact you may as well go to a cheaper competitor as they are just as good. Ekorness via This site promised to get in touch to show or pretend they are good but never do. If they put things right I will tell you but so far no joy ! Tim Hedley Spennymoor Co Durham

Keine Farben mehr, nur noch 50 Shades of Rentnerbeige.

Vor 10 Jahren haben wir zwei lila Stressless-Ledersessel gekauft, die uns vor kurzem unterm Hintern zusammen gebrochen sind.
Nun gut. Dann war ihre Zeit vorbei.
Das Leder war schon nach 3 Jahren sehr unschön an den Armlehnen.
Der Verkäufer im Möbelhaus hatte damals schon keine Ahnung beim Verkauf, aber das ist wohl eher das Problem des Personals in Möbelhäusern.
Nun wollten wir wieder Sessel in LILA kaufen (das war damals einer der Hauptgründe für den Kauf) und nun gibt es, laut Möbelhaus nur noch Fäkalfarben.
Ich zahl nicht 2500 € für einen hamsterarschbeigen oder bleigrauen Sessel!
Die Mode zur Zeit ist sowieso furchtbar. Also habe ich an Stressless geschrieben und gefragt, wo ihre farbigen Sessel angeboten werden.
Insgesamt viermal bekam ich eine vorgefertigte Antwort, man wünsche mir einen schönen Tag.
Da sitzt jemand am PC, der nicht mal so viel Anstand hat, auf das Problem zu antworten.
Ich bin stinksauer.
Man will uns nichts verkaufen, weil Menschen mal wieder Angst vor Farbe haben und nicht mal soweit Farbe bekennen (sic!), dass sie dies auch zugeben.
Es ist nicht so, dass Farbe nicht verlangt wird. Es ist so, dass die Masse das kauft, was angeboten wird, weil die Masse keinen eigenen Geschmack hat.
Ich hab jetzt wirklich ein Problem.
Bevor ich mir so einen teuren Sessel in einer Ätsch-Nichtfarbe in die Bude stelle, sitz ich lieber auf den Boden. Das geht gar nicht.

Don`t buy Ekornes made of fabric if you don`t have a lot of hair (It is not a joke)

Bought two medium blue stressless chairs 3-4 years ago (made of fabric). My husband is without hair (witch is quite normal).
The chair he is using is now "yellow ish" in the headsupport. I called Ekornes today if it was possible to rinse or in any way change the head support which is sewn into the chair (could quite easy be replaced). The answer from Ekornes was quite easy to understand:
- No claim
- Customers without hair should think about this themself
- Nothing we could do, impossible to rinse
- The lady from Ekornes was quite rude in the phone.
This chair is not nice for other people to use. The price for each of the chairs was 1700 Euro!!! We have bought really a lot from Ekornes for several decades. Never more!! So easy can a producer loose cutomers when they don`t have the right person on the right place. And not at least when the person you talked with is rude! Sorry Ekornes, this was not expected from, what I have ever thought was, a "serious" supplier as you!

DO NOT BUY A SAM RECLINER CHAIR WITH…

DO NOT BUY A SAM RECLINER CHAIR WITH HEATED SEAT AS THERE IS A KNOWN FAULT. READ THIS. I bought a Sam Recliner Stressless Chair from Midfurn spending nearly £4000. The chair arrived in August, after three months the remote started flashing, within hours it had stopped working. An engineer came out said we need a new handset which was fitted and the chair worked normally until early this year when the remote started to flash again. At this point Stressless did offer an new chair which I was pleased with but after waiting weeks for it to be built, the chair arrived and within 4 days the handset had stopped working. An engineer came out with a reset and this worked for about 2 days but again the handset started to flash and would not work. They offered another handset I refused as we had tried that with the first chair. Why wasnt the chair checked before it was shipped. I have lost complete faith in the company and the product but I have asked for a refund and now nobody is talking to me. WHY ?

I contacted Ekornes Stressless uk consumer support recently concerning a ten year old recliner with a problem. I was amazed how helpful they were both in communication and solution of the problem.
Very impressed!

I ordered a chair in March

I ordered a chair in March. When it arrived it was not what I had ordered. The firm did not answer my complaints until I put a review up on your site. They have since taken it away BUT they have not paid back the money. I paid £2000 for that chair.

Dreadful dreadful dreadful

Dreadful dreadful dreadful waited months that’s OK paid thousands of Euros from our retirement savings that’s OK
Received no paper work regarding guarantee etc ! Did not think too much about this really as two chairs previously OK. Paid a large sum to get from Gran Canaria to here on top of the other costs. Received mid Feb 2018

I alone have Sat on the sofa ! Just dreadful now after this short time!
Seat flat and uncomfortable! Could have purchased a sofa for a few hundred and it would last longer!

However the very worst thing is no help from customer services what so ever, they just don’t want to know, emails and photos sent, finally told it’s the France customer service I need, sent all copies to them and nothing!
Not even courteous enough to reply to us!

Let this be a warning to anyone thinking of going down the Stressless
Route! Don’t bother, you will be appalled disgusted and frustrated!
They do not deserve custom.
