Sent incorrect item now I can't contact for replacement. Customer service is open 24/7 apparently.
Delivered from China so not UK based at all!
Waited ages for the item to arrive to find out it's wrong. The bracelet they have sent me is a horrible design, don't like it at all and won't be wearing it.

I would have given 5 stars if the website was honest. I bought a copper bracelet on 25-Sep and received it on 6 Oct. Nothing wrong with the bracelet and I received order progress emails but why the deception with John & Vera? If its from China, just say so. Customers value honesty. I won’t be shopping there again.

I absolutely love it! It’s so comfortable to wear and looks beautifully handmade with so much care and passion. Ordering was very easy, and I was kept well informed about when my order would arrive. I would 100% recommend Ellington & Co.!

I purchased a bracelet directly from the Ellington and co.uk website. Reading that John & Vera are retiring 😉
I have now just received a message with tracking information which is coming from China? Can you please verify that this order is actually genuine and not a scam where I will receive an inferior product? Why is my bracelet coming from China when you state they are made by John & Vera in the UK!

for a copper bracelet. I am writing to request an immediate cancellation of this order and a full refund to my original payment method.
This order was placed under the false impression that your products are handcrafted locally by an artisan UK family business, as described on your website. I have since discovered that your orders are dispatched from overseas fulfillment warehouses in China. Due to this misleading marketing regarding the origin and production of the item, I do not wish to proceed with the purchase.
As the order was placed very recently and has not yet been delivered, please process this cancellation immediately before dispatch.
Please confirm once the full refund has been issued.

I should have checked more thoroughly before ordering but I hope this review helps someone.
I think I will probably lose my money :( because the jewellery looks to be pure copper but cheap plated on metal.

I hope trading standards can get these scamming companies obliterated!
