We had a great experience renting this RV for our vacation! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The RV had everything we needed to make our trip relaxing and enjoyable. The rental process was easy, and the communication was excellent from start to finish.

We really enjoyed our time and would definitely rent from them again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free RV vacation!

Amazing experience traveling with an RV. The RV was in really good condition and I didn’t have problems. The staff is kind and service.

500 miles into our 1500 mile trip, we blew a right rear tire on the 10 freeway at 1:00am in a very dangerous area! I called both numbers for roadside assistance and no one answered the phone. After searching on our own, we found a mobile service who after 2 hours came to our aid and was swapping out the blown tire, and found that the spare tire was all bubbled and he could not put that tire on. We ended up having to buy a new tire!! $700.00 and 3 hours later we were able to leave.
We could have had a serious accident or been killed. My family and my animals were in harms way and El Monte RV failed us completely. I will never rent and RV from this company ever again. They didn't even make sure the tire pressure was correct or that the tires were any good.

Excellent service, clear information and practical basic instructions, both at the check in and check out. Motorhome with great facilities, without any problem with maintenance.

Air conditioning and fan did not work the first day. No air came out of the vent even though the motor was running. We had to call several times for help, which never showed up. We had to turn off the fuse to turn off the air conditioner motor.

Scammed. Was told I had to pay 1500 for burning man, ended up charging me 2000.

Drop-off and pickup was relatively easy, the staff is knowledgeable. The RV was in good condition for the burning man, except that the Awning stopped working after we picked up.

2 things. First the drivers door weather molding came loose and would not stay on. Every time the door opened the rubber molding would be in the way. Second was the refrigerator started to get warm. Checked the tstat setting, I adjusted it lower and higher and it would not work. The food was getting warm had to stop and purchase an ice chest and ice throughout the week longs rental. Upon the return notified about the rubber molding and they just kinda shrugged it off. When I told them about the cooler, they concluded it was my fault for adjusting the thermostat and leaving it on the highest settting after I explained I adjusted after I noticed it was not cooling properly. Again they just shrugged it off like oh well. They didn’t have much to say about it either way.

We had a great experience with our RV rental during our family road trip through California and the Southwest.

Travelling by RV was a fantastic experience for our family. It gave us the freedom to visit so many amazing places and made the road trip itself a big part of our vacation.

We especially want to compliment the staff at the Los Angeles location. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. The service and personal attention we received were excellent and really made a difference.

Great service and crew! I got there and was a little disappointed with the RV reserved for us, so I asked if I could change for a different one. They graciously accommodated with no real push back. Upon drop-off, the were drama free. Of course, I brought it back nice and clean, but some places still nit-pick, and they didn't which was great.

Great experience. Much better than anticipated. I had expectations in my mind that they were gonna overcharge me and nitpick for a little things in the RV when it came back. Truth is the matter is they were professional and courteous, and very accommodating. I got my full deposit back however, my wife and I did spend a lot of time cleaning the RV because we came home from burning man. Dump the tanks. Cleaned it sanitized it. It’s all good. Got my full deposit back. Really great time would rent from them again.

The vehicle was brand new.
Check in was easy.
All the amenities on the vehicle work properly.
And the drop and go program was fantastic.
All the staff at el monte were professional and seem to enjoy their job working with customers.

All in all, things turned out okay, but... Let's start with the fact that the rental cost was high; given that, I expected a vehicle that—regardless of what the registration papers said—was less worn and more modern. The kitchen countertop had been ruined by previous renters, leaving the surface uneven. The vehicle wasn't properly cleaned—only superficially so—and the entrance screen door wouldn't close. However, the most serious issue was the air conditioning; it was out of refrigerant, so we essentially sat in a sauna while driving through Arizona. I reported this problem along the way; they tried to help, but ultimately couldn't find a workshop capable of quickly recharging the A/C. To be fair, though, they did give us $300 in compensation when we returned the vehicle. The van definitely needed its wheels balanced and the alignment checked. Also, a generic warning light—an orange wrench icon—came on a couple of times during the 10-day trip. I reported this as well, but since there were only two days left until the return date and the light had gone off on its own, I simply reiterated what had happened when I handed the vehicle back. Generally speaking, as mentioned at the start, I would have expected a less outdated vehicle, along with the necessary checks regarding comfort and safety—checks I hope were carried out when we returned the vehicle.

If you’re planning to go camping, I highly recommend El Monte RV. Their RVs are nice clean new dependable too as well.

Not completely satisfied with the choice made on an El Monte rental brand (and for the cost incurred), I expected a perfect camper, but instead there were a series of problems, drawers that did not close (already poorly repaired), cupboard doors that opened during the trip, window blinds not in perfect efficiency, so-so cutlery/kitchen utensils supply, missing some things (tea towels, sheets) that we had not noticed when collecting the vehicle. I am not a camping novice, I have over 30 years of experience, I am the owner of a caravan in Italy, and I have rented campers in various parts of the world, so I can say that these problems are partly due to poor maintenance.
