I moved with Enfields (Southampton Shirley branch) in December 2020. I couldn’t recommend them more they handled both the sale of my property and purchase of the new property. All staff involved from our valuation (which was straightforward and honest), viewings (timely and polite staff), completion of sale and purchase were extremely professional and efficient. Which is even more remarkable considering the overwhelmed market and new Covid restrictions to abide by. Sam who managed the completion and everything involved was especially helpful and couldn’t of done anything more. I would certainly go back to Enfields Shirley for my next move and would strongly recommend them to others. Many thanks Enfields!

In particular Sam would always keep me updated and in the loop, and even helped me to chase up information that I needed. This was really helpful, especially as I was a first time buyer with no experience. I highly recommend them.

Enfields help in a recent sale of my flat deserves a public review. The property was marketed efficiently - multiple viewings were arranged quickly, and it was obvious that Enfields had good knowledge of the Southampton area. The initial transaction was complex but when my original buyers dropped out a replacement buyer was found extremely quickly (within 48 hours) and for a price that suited us both, and this sale was completed with minimum fuss. Throughout this process Sam and Shaun in particular were quick to answer emails, called regularly to update on progress and successful completion allowed purchase of a new property. Very grateful for the team's professionalism and happy with service offered.

We recently sold our house through Enfields Estate Agents at Bitterne, Southampton with Louise as our person. The entire experience was extremely stressful, taking over 7 months overall to finally complete, elongated by the COVID lockdown as well as other complications. We found Louise to be a stabilising force throughout, keeping us informed with regular updates as well as networking with other agencies on our behalf.
Our previous experiences with Estate Agents have been many, mostly far from positive so in our opinion Louise is outstanding, she is personable, professional, well organised, with a strong work ethic & a great sense of humour. L&F Dorset

The staff is not committed, irresponsible with pathetic service. They changed my viewing dates again and again without prior notice and informing at the last moment. Would not recommend

I currently let a property through Enfields-Shirely and have done so for the past year. I cannot fault the service provided by Louise Harston and her team. I have previously had a bad experience with a letting agent and was therefore wary to try another agent but I am so impressed by the level of communication and service provided. I would highly recommend anyone looking to let their property and wanting a dedicated and trustworthy lettings manager to get in contact with Louise at the Enfields-Shirley branch.

Poor and disrespectful treatment; bunch of empty words on the phone with promises, just to be ignored soon after. Wasted time and hopes; feel like i was disadvantaged because i’m a foreigner. would not recommend

Bought a house via this company to find that basically everything they told me were lies. They even tried to pass the property off as freehold when it wasn't. The person I spoke to about the property lied to my face on most of my questions. As a first time buyer I think it's disgusting to be treated like this just so they can get a sale.

Utterly frustrating. Went to view a rental property, rang immediately after to put down an offer only to be told that a holding fee had been put down and that the property was already gone. We hadn't been notified at all prior to the viewing. We even had a confirmation phone call the morning of the viewing. The colleague showing us around the property also clearly had no idea this was the case. A complete lack of any sort of communication. An utter waste of people's time! Will not be viewing any future properties through Enfields!

I have just bought my first home, which was sold through Enfields. I could not recommend them more highly - Sam and Shaun in particular were excellent. There were a lot of delays in communications from the seller's solicitor, and they went out of their way to chase these up and try to get the information needed, which I really appreciated. They gave me regular updates, which was very helpful as I was not familiar with the process of buying a home and did not really know what to expect at what stage.

Additionally, when I first went to see the flat (and again when I went to measure spaces), I was given plenty of time to ask questions and the person showing me round was honest about some of the flat's faults. This meant that when the survey came back, I didn't lower my offer as I was already expecting there to be a few problems with it and it didn't come as a surprise.

Enfields were excellent from start to finish when selling my property. They have great knowledge of the area and they couldn’t have done enough for us. I would recommend them to everyone.

Viewed 2 flats through them.... no problem.

Then we started getting calls and messages booking us in to view properties that we had not viewed online and were nothing we were interested in.

Called and spoke to them and their attitude was that it must have been my partner booking them and it was my mistake.

As soon as I said that was not the case and had to become stronger with them to get through their objections and blaming us for their mistakes - they accused me of being rude and offensive [I was assertive but professional at all times].

I was going to make an offer on one of the flats, I will now not do so on a point of principle and will never consider a property being marketed through them ever again.

My advice to everyone - avoid these obnoxious individuals.....

From beginning to end, Enfields were great. Sam and Shaun were always contactable and ready to help, especially in the most stressful parts of the sale. Purplebricks were the agent we bought from so were basically non-existent after our offer was accepted, Enfields went above and beyond to keep me in the loop by staying in contact with the estate agents above. Couldn't have asked for any more. Thanks Sam and Shaun!!

Enfields Southampton, in particular Sam, worked very hard to sell our property and help us with our onward purchase. Our situation was not straightforward and they were endlessly patient and professional. I would highly recommend them!
