Extremely poor service and false…

Extremely poor service and false advertising. I was an existing Enhanced Men's Clinic patient transferred to Hormn following their acquisition. In April 2026, Hormn sent an email stating that the subscription increase from $83 to $120 per month was "actually a reduction" because bulk-billed blood tests would be included at no cost. When I attempted to order a blood test after the price increase took effect, I was still charged $175. Hormn advised that the bulk billing feature had not yet launched and would roll out in approximately three months. Despite multiple requests, Hormn declined to offer any credit or revert pricing until the benefit was actually available. I have since cancelled my membership and lodged complaints with Consumer Affairs Victoria and the ACCC. My concern is not with the price increase itself, but with the use of an unavailable benefit to justify it as a net saving to patients.

update to Hormn reply: You've just publicly confirmed that you charged a higher price for a benefit that didn't exist yet. Your own email called it 'actually a reduction.' It wasn't. Complaints have been lodged with Consumer Affairs Victoria and the ACCC.

Hi, thank you for reaching out. In the 2 emails that were sent, it was outlined that the bulk billing feature would go live in roughly 3 months - not immediately.

AI medical

After being with Enhanced Men’s Clinic for 2 years, I was rolled into the new Hormn platform. The result was a 50% price increase for what feels like a worse overall service — clunky interface, AI replacing actual support, and it became very difficult to speak to a real person.

As a long-term TRT patient, I felt there was very little continuity of care or proactive follow-up despite the ongoing subscription costs.

My consultation with Dr Matthew Hasdell was also extremely disappointing. Rather than feeling listened to or collaboratively managed, I felt talked over and dismissed. The only practical advice I received was to find a GP, which defeats the purpose of paying for a private TRT clinic in the first place.

I have obviously gone elsewhere

Enhanced Men’s Clinic changed to Hormn

Since the Enhanced Men’s Clinic changed to Hormn, they are terrible. Good luck if you want to speak to a human.
I was with EMC for about two years. But since they changed to Hormn, they ONLY have an ai assistant (that won’t understand you) there is no ‘contact us’ email or phone number to call.

Also, your pathology results (that YOU pay for) isn’t released to you, it only available to view on your dashboard. Why? I track and record all my medical results & have done for years! Why can’t I have a pdf printout like EMC used to do?

Some Hormn links don’t work either. If you love being run around & don’t value quality, by all means, go to Hormn.

It’ll be interesting to see if they improve things, but I’ve cancelled my subscription to them. Do yourself a favour and read the RECENT reviews of Hormn. Don’t waste your time & money here men. Go elsewhere. You’ve been warned.

Buyer beware - cant access the GP unless you pay subscription!

The website is great, easy to use, but its very difficult to contact a human, no contact emails and you have to go through their Chat Bot. They are all about getting you to do their expensive blood works, even though that is covered in Australia, and then they want to lock you into a Monthly subscription before seeing a doctor! Buyer beware! Go see you GP, a lot easier, i thought this would save time and be easier, but no, do not use!!

This company is only about taking your money, I booked and done a blood test, I didn't realise prior that they have no option just to book and pay a consult, you are made to sign up for a monthly or yearly subscription to have your initial consultation, after the consultation I decided to cancel the subscribtion and I asked for my money back, Hormn are refusing to refund this subscription I never used, I have no problem paying for the doctors consultation,

I miss Enhanced Mens Clinic.. go away Hormn

When Hormn were Enhanced Men’s Clinic (EMC) they provided a really good service and I never had any issues when ordering bloodwork referrals, booking consultations and ordering re-supplies. I did a lot of research as to which clinic to use and chose EMC due to 5* rating, the 4.3* rating since the rebrand should tell you something.

Since the rebrand to Hormn I have had nothing but issues and dramas with nearly every aspect of the service. Booking a consultation now can take nearly a couple weeks, ordering a re-supply is absolutely disastrous! Don’t hold your breath waiting for that resupply to come. They advertise 2-3 day shipment on medications but that is DEFINITELY not the case!

From my personal experience, I am currently taking TRT (obviously) and HCG to help my boys continue to produce semen as my partner and I are trying to conceive. My first order of HCG took around 6 weeks to arrive (which I was told is normal) my first re-supply arrived within a week after that, great! Then the dreaded rebrand to Hormn, I ordered a re-supply of HCG and after 2 weeks there was nil change to my order status from ‘Ready to dispense’. So I tried talking to the chatbot on the website, which must be the most retarded form of AI chatbot available. I explained the wait time on my HCG re-supply and the response from the chatbot was ‘that’s not normal, 2-3 weeks is definitely too long… anyway, just keep waiting’.
I couldn’t seem to find a way to speak to an actual human so I booked a consultation with a doctor, waited a week, asked him what the go was as I did previously explain the urgency of the re-supply. He said he would speak with the compounding lab and the Hormn team to find out what is taking so long. I never heard anything back.

I then managed to find a contact email address a few days later so emailed the Hormn team. Received a response a day or so later saying they would look into it. I didn’t hear anything back. I again emailed asking what the go was and was told that they had made a mistake and the compounding lab were waiting on something from them. They then told me they would express the urgency of the re-supply. I waited for a couple weeks and again didn’t hear anything back so I emailed again saying they would reach out to the lab and see what the status of my order was. Guess what, I never heard anything back.

About one month after I ordered my re-supply I received an automated email saying there had been a change to my order status. Rejoice! A couple days later, my order status is ‘delivered’, I go outside, grab the box. Definitely doesn’t look and feel like a cold pack which is how HCG is supposed to be transported. I open the box to see Hormn have sent an injection kit for the HCG. Except they sent the TRT injection kit with the 21g and 25g syringes which is a needle that is definitely not going in my belly! What should have been provided is the 1ml 28g syringes (I believe, can’t quite remember now). So I will have to go out of my way to go and get those syringes from a needle exchange.

Since the rebrand to Hormn they have been nothing short of p*ss poor and I would highly recommend NOT choosing them as your TRT, HCG and weight loss medication provider. As I said above, when they were EMC they were rated 5*, look at them now. And after a quick scan through the reviews it seems most of these negative reviews have come since the rebrand.

So all in all, sh*t service, sh*t customer comms and although polite customer service, still sh*t.

*Edit* looks like a typical AI response from Hormn

Hey, firstly thank you for taking the time to write this out in so much detail, we're sorry the experience has been this frustrating, especially given how important the HCG is for you and your partner right now.

The wrong needle gauge being sent shouldn't have happened and we'll make sure it doesn't again by letting our partner pharmacies know.

Consults are now easier to book than before, you log into the portal and can see your doctor's live availability, usually same or next day. At the time of migration we did have a roughly 6-day wait while everyone was transitioning across, which we understand was frustrating.

On TRT resupply shipping, once your doctor has prescribed and the order is placed, the pharmacy ships within 24 hours via express. Compounded HCG still has the same mult-week turnaround from the pharmacy, as it has to be compounded.

We also want to acknowledge that your communication experience wasn't good enough. That's something we've been actively improving since the migration, and we know there were gaps during the transition that let people down.

Avoid! Save your money and sanity and go to another provider.

Run, hide and avoid at all costs.

I’ve been a patient of Enhanced Men’s Clinic / Hormn for a couple of years now. They started off good, but have fallen off a cliff and I’d strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Reasons outlined below.

1. Customer service is non-existent. They simply don’t read emails or messages, and have no means of other contact aside from “live messaging” which is not live unless you want to speak to AI. When someone does reply, they don’t read anything you’ve wrote and respond with generic information that doesn’t address anything you’ve raised.
2. Pricing is insane now. They have increased the cost of everything, and it’s now completely uncompetitive with other providers on the market, who actually respond to emails and calls, and are far less rigid with their processes.
3. Their technology is terrible. Nothing works. They migrated platforms, failed to communicate basic information the patients and then everything broke. I was treated like a brand new patient and had to start from zero context, all whilst having no medication due to the ridiculous delays in responses. This resulted in a gap in treatment, that I had to overcome by engaging a GP to dispense medication on a once off basis to maintain continuity. They were shocked at my experience and suggested staying away from these types of provides for this reason.
3. Prescriptions are completely illogical. They prescribe 10ml of 5000iu HCG, whilst acknowledging it is stable for one month, despite forcing roughly 10-12 months supply at a cost of almost $500. This is almost double what they used to prescribe, and means you throw away about 70% of the product before buying another massive vial which you can never use. Other clinics do not do this, and compound more reasonable volumes at a much lower cost.
4. They force you to use their expensive and rigid testing services, meaning that you don’t get the results for your own records, and you can’t save costs by getting your GP to refer you for the same tests, meaning another $200ish for tests that other providers will let you get via a doctor referral, despite the tests being identical.

All in all, save your time, money, sanity and patience and go with a different provider who actually cares about you and isn’t there to just gouge you for every cent you’re worth to them. I know there are many patients leaving them for the same reason, as confirmed by other providers who are inundated with calls from ex-HORMN patients who are leaving for the reasons I’ve described.

**Edit - the doctors are fantastic and I can’t fault them. They are only operating within the parameters they are given, and my experience whenever I have spoken to an actual practitioner has been exceptional **

Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback, great to hear the practitioners have been good.

Just in regards to some of your points. On communication - we sent three emails over two months before the migration, plus two more with step-by-step setup instructions. Possible they landed in spam.

On pricing - subscription rates haven't changed yet. We gave everyone advance notice months ahead. Resupply moved from $219 to $232.50 - the extra $13.50 covers needles and syringes now included. Previously it was a single bundled price with no breakdown, we've just itemised everything now.

On blood tests - these are privately billed through Healius with zero markup, and are actually cheaper than what we charged through iMedical. We require bloods through our portal because we need to ensure patients get the correct panels with nothing edited or omitted - that's a clinical decision. Your results are available directly in your portal for your own records.

On HCG - the 10ml/5000iu is the only size available from the compounding pharmacy. We don't control the formulation or volume, we'd offer a smaller option if one existed.

The new portal lets you book directly with your doctor anytime, see their notes, order repeats, and view blood results all in one place. That's a big upgrade from the old manual process, but we know these changes can take some time to get used to.

If there was a gap in your treatment during the migration, that's not good enough and we want to make it right. Email us at support@hormn.com and we'll sort it out.

Bankrupt and trapped

Whilst the TRT is a wonder and has absolutely improved my quality of life, this particular company is absolutely scamming clients by making extra charges mandatory.

Here are multiple examples: they have made it mandatory to buy injection kits with each prescription -I had been able to buy bulk syringes, needles, swabs and canisters for a whole year at a fraction of the cost. I was recommended to do this by one of their very nice and helpful nurses back when they were enhance men’s clinic. I don’t require their over priced injection kit but am forced to purchase it with each prescription renewal. I don’t care if they say it’s a matter of continuity and safety. I’m injecting my own ass so don’t make out like safety is your number one concern.

To provide a faster shipping experience there’s also a mandatory freight cost of $25.
The original subscription fee was $83 a month and will soon be $120 a month. Thanks for providing advanced noticed … is that so I can find a second job to pay for it?

The drug itself was approximately $180 for the prescription and that shot up to $230 simply because 4 vials in one box was changed to 4 boxes with 1 vile! Again, just another additional cost.

All money grabbing.

Once you begin TRT you can’t naturally produce this hormone. So, I’m feeling trapped by a big company adding additional cost after cost.
They know quality of life is diminished when the treatment stops so essentially trapped.
Pretty vile practice from a company I thought was there to help people not bankrupt them!
The previous Enhaced Men’s Clinic was doing a good enough job with helpful staff and quality checkups. During their transition phase I was supplied a few months of meds with no blood work checks. Seems like it’s about drug supply with maximum profits for this company. Sad that they once appeared to be offering help to those struggling with hormonal issues but now just want to help empty your pockets.

Hey, we are glad to hear TRT has made a real difference for you - that's why we do this.

We understand the frustration around costs, so want to make sure we are on the same page.

The injection kit adds $13.50 per resupply. The old $219 was a single bundled price with no breakdown - we've now itemised everything so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

We made sterile supplies mandatory because as a medical provider, we have a duty of care around what equipment is used with our prescriptions.

We respect that you're capable - it's a clinical governance decision, not a comment on you.

Subscription pricing hasn't changed yet. We gave months of advance notice so nobody gets caught off guard.

On blood work during the transition - we moved pathology to Healius so bloods can now be ordered and received directly through the portal and at a lower cost than iMedical.

If there was a gap in your bloods during the changeover, that's something we want to fix, reach out to us at support@hormn.com.

We understand that TRT is a long-term commitment and we don't take that lightly.

That's exactly why we invested in a better platform, transparent pricing, and direct pathology integration - to make the ongoing experience better, not worse.

Terrible rebrand - look elsewhere

Firstly Id like to say that prior to the rebrand (as Enhanced Mens Clinic) I found this service excellent, and all of the clinicians I have spoken to pre and poat rebrand have been very good.

The rebrand has made the service objectively worse for the patient in several ways:

~40% monthly price increase overnight.
- Forcing you to buy blood tests via their platform at a significant mark up vs your GP/third party service
- A particularly egregious "Mandatory" 50$ fee for ~$6 worth of injection equipment.

In summary - flashy new website but much worse patient experience that increases your costs and reduces your choices as a patient.

I am switching services as a result and I hope these terrible changes have a negative impact on their business.

Hey, really appreciate the kind words about our clinical team - glad that's been consistent for you.

Want to clear up a few things though, because most of this isn't quite right.

Subscription pricing hasn't changed yet. We gave everyone advance notice months ahead so there are no surprises, but you're still on your current rate today.

Blood tests through the platform are privately billed with zero markup - they're actually cheaper than when we used iMedical. You're welcome to compare.

The needles and syringes added $13.50 to the resupply, not $50.

Previously the $219 was a single bundled price with no breakdown - we've now itemised everything so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

We made them mandatory because consistent use of sterile, correct-gauge supplies is a patient safety decision.

On the platform being a worse experience - you can now book directly with your doctor anytime, see your doctor's notes, order repeats, and order and view blood test results all through the portal.

Previously all of that was done manually.

That's a significant upgrade for most patients.

We hear you on the frustration around change - reach out to us at support@hormn.com and we're happy to walk through everything with you.

I'm giving two stars rather than just one because the doctor I spoke to was attentive, supportive and informative.

Hey, really glad to hear your doctor looked after you well, that matters a lot to us.

Want to clear up a couple of things though. Your subscription price hasn't changed yet - we just gave everyone a heads up months in advance so there are no surprises down the line.

On the resupply pricing, previously it was $219 as a single bundled price with no breakdown. We've now itemised everything transparently: medication, shipping, sterile vials, and needles/syringes. The total is $232.50 - an increase of $13.50, which covers the needles and syringes that are now included.

We made those mandatory because using sterile, correct-gauge supplies every time is a patient safety non-negotiable.

And the pathology switch to Healius, one of Australia's largest networks actually means we can now order your bloods and receive results directly through the platform, instead of you having to go through a third party and email results back to us.

We'd hate to lose you over a misunderstanding, reach out to us at support@hormn.com and we'll get you sorted.

The rebrand is terrible

Used to be good, but since the rebrand the pricing has become a joke.
You’re now forced to pay an extra $50 for a few syringes with every resupply whether you need them or not. These are basic items you can get yourself for next to nothing, so it just feels like a cash grab.
Communication feel generic and automated, like you’re talking to a bot rather than an actual person.
The clinic has clearly shifted towards squeezing more money out of patients. Not a great experience anymore, I'll be looking to move to an alternative TRT clinic
