Let's be honest

Let's be honest. The charger worked perfectly. Let's also be honest, the details about what you will be charged do not exist. I only drive a hybrid. Takes 3 hours using 7Kw and costs worst case £6 on a bad tariff. I tapped the card with great expectations. I've just seen the bill for £42.56 for 80%. Didn't even get a full charge!! Try and avoid, the payments are hidden for a reason. Charged at the premier inn near Tamworth.

Unethical money taking

Shocking company and shocking car charging technology. They take EUR 48,40 from your bank as a deposit yet your usage might actually be as low as, say, EUR 5! If you charge on a Friday morning as I did last week, I still haven't the refund in my bank account. They actually took EUR 48,40 twice from my bank due to a plug connection issue. So I'm EUR 96,80 down and no refund yet as of midday Monday (3 days later)! Totally inappropriate and unethical for Equans to be taking peoples money for no service, like this. Is it illegal? Don't use!

Bad service, don't allow them this...

From the project manager to workers, all have unacceptable knowledge of the work & contempt over my opinions. I felt intimidated every step of the work.
Also, the labourers were touching my walls with their dirty hands & using my toilet despite warning them in advance. I had to deal with the cleaning side of it, their urines e.t.c. This is disgusting & absolutely unacceptable service!
Where's the care, where's working together, this is my property not their playground!
My advise to all, you should agree before they come in to your property how they should conduct themselves e.t.c lest you regret it later. If not, abort the job completely!

There the biggest bunch of cowboys…

There the biggest bunch of cowboys around, I had 4 of them at my flat in Glasgow a couple weeks ago about a noisy exterior fan on my roof, it's been making loud noises and vibrating all the time ever since these cowboys serviced it, before they serviced it it was perfect, now they say there's nothing wrong with it, they are a bunch of cowboys who haven't got a clue, I could do a better job than them, do not get these people to do anything for you cause you'll end up regretting it there useless.

Absolute bunch of clowns!

This review is about Equans in East Manchester

I received a letter on 11th January from these clowns (the letter was dated 6th January 2025!) telling me I had a gas safety check booked in on 15th January, although they had not stated any particular time! The letter went on to say that if I had a problem with this date, I could call the number in the letter or email the email address in the letter. I chose to send an email. In my letter I explained that 15th Janaury was not convenient for several reasons. 1) I couldn't really get time off work on 15th given it was a couple of weeks after our Christmas break and the company I work for weren't allowing paid time off for that reason. and 2) they had literally only given me two working days notice!. I didn't get a response to this email.

Surprise! On Wednesday 15th January, a gas engineer turned up at my flat. I wasn't there so couldn't let them in (I was at work... I have a Ring doorbell). When I got home that night, the engineer hadn't put a card through my letterbox telling me they had missed me and could I ring their number to re-arrange?. No, they hadn't put it through my letterbox. They had taped it to the main front door of this 64-flat building I live in... Totally unprofessional. Anyway I rang their number to try and re-arrange the appointment only to get a message telling me that at busy times, I might be kept hanging on the phone for over an hour before they could answer my call! I didn't get through to anyone. I left a message which their answer machine said they would try to respond to within the next 24 hours!

Equans is an absolute joke! If I could leave no stars, I would.

I should perhaps add that I have Bi-polar Disorder and this kind of incompetence really triggers me.

This is aimed at Equains East

This is aimed at Equains East, a lady called me from a withheld number, I asked who am I speaking to? I got the reply Equains, I asked again and was shouted at EQUAINS, she wouldn't give her name and hung up. Called the council and her notes read :
Booked for 27.11 Tennant extremely rude, had to terminate the call before I could give him the date.

Thisnis absoutly appalling and unprofessional behaviour. Ive tried complaining via the council nothing seems to happen. I would pike someone to take ownership of the issues and rectify them, as its making Equains look really BAD.

Shocking work

Equans fitted new kitchen and bathroom in my boyfriend's house if he'd has known the result he wouldn't have let them anywhere near the door. The radiator leaked, the shower leaked, the basin is hanging not connected to pedestal, they took off existing tiles and painted over the old adhesive and when I say painted I use the term extremely loosely. All the decorating looks like it's been done by a ten year old rollered door with a mop, they don't believe in sandpaper, filler or undercoat they also left a footprint on the glass cover of the cooker who stands on glass? These guys basically couldn't give a flying about their work or your house. Complete muppets My boyfriend is a tradesman and he would expect the sack if he turned on work like that. Adding that they lost the house keys and didn't buy a new one.
Can't fault the guy who fitted the kitchen good job.

These cowboys were employed by Welwyn Hatfield district council they " fitted"a bathroom no running water as there was mastic in the pipes put sink on 2 inches of mastic to sit on pedestal so not supported asked them over and over to be careful of new front door that had been fitted 2 weeks before was assured it would be covered however they scratched it all over
When trying to contact the liaison officer no answer no phoning back still not been signed off these are just a few of the issues avoid like hell

AVOID THIS COMPANY

My kitchen was started in March 2024, they have drilled through walls,narrowly missing water pipes. climbed on my furniture, didn,t use dust sheets, damaged my fridge, my flooring.left me without hot water & heating in the cold spell of March. I,m still waiting on shelf’s to be fitted , 3 second job the man said, didn’t tell me it would take 6 weeks to get the shelf’s here. Also waiting on a repaint where they drilled holes in error, made a complete mess of my kitchen. Today a visit was booked in, we blow me down nobody showed up, i have spent weeks and time trying to get this shower of shizz company to complete the job 🤬

Oh Dear.

Oh Dear.. Where to start? (And yet - some of the workers are really good!)

This is emotionally hot for me, 'scuse if if i go on a bit...

EQUANS got to 'do up' our block, De Beauvoir, in Hackney - some of the neighbours complained, but the work WE had done was actually pretty top notch, perfectly decent, until..

..One of the window fitters missed his step, trod on a radiator - water everywhere, pipes hanging out - ok s..tuff happens on Building Sites, working on homes, and we LIKED the Windows guys, we did NOT wish to get them in trouble, but the RESPONSE was..

..Site Manager Paulius Cibulskis appears, with 2 'Resident Liaison' Officers in tow - his first words were "did you do that?" .. "maybe it fell off by itself" and "did you install this radiator?"

He turns the radiator taps off (radiator fallen onto the carpet, water still leaking from the pipes, not even Hot water will come on now) - as a 'lodger' I simply rent a room here, so they've been trying to blank me, as Witness to the event.. Michael, the actual Tenant came in when he heard the crash

So, they're sat on our sofa, and Michael asks "look I can't go on like this, cant you get one of YOUR plumbers over? This is an emergency!" RLO's Alex Saunders and Saron --- just looked on dumbly, not a WORD to help us - EQUANS are a 17 billion Dollar multinational, I'm sure Mr Cibulskis could have easily located an emergency Plumber to deal with things, if he didn't want to write this up as an 'incident'

One of the RLO's made a call to Hackney Manager Ms Collins to say a repair was needed, that was the limit of their involvement - leaving us in a 2 month nightmare, requiring non stop fan heaters (a sizeable contribution to our electric bill) to heat and dry the room out

The '2 months to resolve' was partly due to problems and wait times in Hackneys system, but the Liability remains EQUANS' alone - yet NO one in Hackney Council OR Equans has helped us - its been about a year now!

Ms Collins accused me of 'Bombarding' poor EQUANS with messages, in trying to get them to respond - when she said this, I stepped up to contacting SENIOR Resident Liaison, Hackney Works Team, Hackney Management.. Nary a word back, of course..

..Until recently, after a threat of Legal Action, we got an email back from Sharon Bandelow, Senior RLO, who put us through to Cust Care Manager Tony Doyle - after a positive sounding 'Conference Call' with Michael and myself, he promised to talk to EQUANS Divisional and Works managers, and report back - then silence!

I guess management told him 'keep schtum' and we'll go away - well, good luck with that, and thank goodness for sites like Trustpilot!

Not ONE wanted to help us - we'd like to be compensated after all this hassle!

Remember folks a 'Small Claim' Action only costs about 100 quid, you just go the the gov uk site and fill the form in - I recommend taking the fight straight to the top, EQUANS CEO (Chief boss) for UK/Ireland is
