STAY AWAY FROM ERANET
Eranet has by far the most confusing dashboard I’ve seen from any registrar. Simple tasks like unlocking a domain or tracking a transfer require an unreasonable amount of time to figure out due to their poorly designed UI. In fact, there is no straightforward way to unlock domains — you have to change the owner and check a field labeled “Close Transfer Lock...” to unlock a domain. I figured this out on my own, since the support ticket I opened on 2025-04-02 at 22:28:49 (asking *how to unlock a damn domain*) never received a response — even by the time I’m writing this review.
The domain transfer process is incredibly slow. Unlike registrars like NameSilo, which let you manually approve a transfer for faster processing, or OnlyDomains, which will approve your transfer manually if you contact them, Eranet lacks this feature entirely. Even after reaching out to support, nothing was done to speed up my transfers — some took more than 7 days to complete.
Support via Telegram is amateur at best. Replies are inconsistent, and every conversation feels like you’re talking to someone with no context of previous messages. It’s frustrating and completely unprofessional.
Their handling of abuse reports is even worse. A competitor maliciously reported my domains, and instead of investigating, Eranet took them down immediately. Even after I provided clear proof and had them reinstated, the same report (from the same damn email) came in again — and they took the domains down *again*. It’s baffling how careless and easily manipulated their abuse process is. You can literally try it yourself: report any Eranet-registered domain to their abuse email, and they’ll likely suspend it without hesitation.
Worse still, if one domain is reported, they often suspend your entire portfolio — even websites with no content at all. I lost a lot of time and money because of this.
Overall, Eranet is unreliable, unprofessional, and unsafe for serious domain investors or web projects. Avoid at all costs.
