I have been using Ava Estell products…

I have been using Ava Estell products since 2023 and I have absolutely loved them. I signed up for Ava+ as to get the discounts they claimed I could receive as a member. Everything was great until recently. Although shipping was slow, I attributed that to them being based in the UK and me in the US. I always received my order even if it took a couple of months to reach me.
Well, now the website is defunct and I can't use my store credit that I incurred. I reached out to costumer service and they responded that I could order from their TikTok shop but that didn't work. At this point I'm so disappointed.

GET IT TOGETHER AVA ESTELL!!!

Products great; Customer service not honest; Money taken

The products worked really well for me and my family. I was part of the membership program. For over a month I have been in contact with them regarding their website being down. They informed me that it would be back up soon. I had over 100 pound credit. Friday, after a month I contacted them on IG and told them I would like a refund. Crickets. Very disappointed in their honestly and lack of communication from loyal customers.

UK Customers: Be aware of your rights – Ava Estell refusing refunds for unusable store credit

I’m leaving this review to warn UK customers and to highlight an ongoing issue with Ava Estell.

I was issued £40 in store credit following a previous purchase. However, their website has been down for weeks, making it impossible to access the credit or use the service I paid for.

Despite this, Ava Estell has refused to refund the money, claiming that store credit is “non-refundable.” This is misleading and not compliant with UK consumer law.

➡️ UK customers, know your rights:

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a service isn’t provided within a reasonable time, you’re entitled to a refund.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, online purchases must be refundable if goods or services aren’t delivered.

Companies cannot override your statutory rights with internal policies or store credit terms.

I’ve now reported the company to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice and started a refund dispute through my payment provider.

Until Ava Estell resolves these issues and starts honouring legal obligations, I would strongly advise UK customers to avoid this company.

Totally Disappointed!

I have been purchasing products from Ava Estelle since 2024. I recently became a VIP member. I haven't been able to purchase any further products and today I can see that the website is defunct. I'm waiting for a response but seeing the other worrying reviews I will just cease any further payments immediately. I would have really appreciated honesty if the owner/ founders are no longer trading! None of us can afford just to lose money without any return.

Great products, poor communication

I’ve been a loyal customer for years and their skincare is great, as I have eczema and sensitive skin it’s been hard to find products that work, but these have been so helpful to me over the last few years. It has helped improve hyperpigmentation and reduce breakouts.

However, I’ve had to give them a lower score due to the lack of communication regarding their website being shut down over the last few weeks and they haven’t bothered to notify their customers by email or on their social media platforms. Myself and a few other customers have mentioned this on their old Instagram posts and instead of addressing it directly to all customers they instead chose to delete mine & other peoples comments!

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated and their lack of communication is very unprofessional. Additionally, this year I have experienced poor customer service from them, with one of my orders being delivered a month later & I’ve purchased gift cards which I’ve also had to chase to receive them.

Urgent Concern Regarding Website Downtime and Lack of Communication

I have been a loyal customer of Eva Estell for nearly six months and have been genuinely impressed with the effectiveness of their products. Since moving to the UK, I have tried various skincare solutions recommended to me, but none have addressed my skin concerns as effectively as theirs. While I understand that beauty products take time to yield visible results, I have seen consistent and encouraging improvements with continued use of the brand but it must be noted that it's not a quick fix even though they have been promising that!

However, I chose to write this review to express my growing concern regarding the recent disappearance of the website since they are no longer responding to emails. For over a week now, the platform has been completely inaccessible, and to my knowledge, no communication or updates have been sent to customers—including those of us who are VIP members. This lack of information is particularly worrying.

I currently have store credits that I had planned to use this month to purchase products as a birthday gift to myself. Unfortunately, with the website offline and no form of contact or notification provided, I am left uncertain about the status of my order and the future of your services.

I respectfully urge Eva Estell to clarify the situation and communicate openly with their customer base to maintain trust and transparency. Silence in such matters raises unnecessary speculation and could potentially damage the brand’s reputation, leading customers to believe this may be a fraudulent or abruptly closed business—something I sincerely hope is not the case.

I would appreciate a timely response and some reassurance regarding my store credits and the continuity of your services.

Their products are the best

Their products are the best. I can can visibly see the transformation of my skin. The products smell amazing and last a long time. I recently had a birthday and they sent me a full sized gift of Summer Cream. Absolutely divine. I had an enquiry regarding my order and they quickly responded within the hour and all communication quick clear and resolved immediately. Never know a company that is so quick to respond to enquiries, excellent products and wonderful customer care. The birthday gift was a very welcome surprise. I would recommend to subscribe, it is absolutely worth it. Especially when it come to having to buy multiple gifts at Christmas time. These highend products are well worth the money. They work. Thank you Ava Estelle for literally saving my skin.

Hit, miss and miss!

One good thing about this company is that I personally have never had an order that hasn't turned up and I've ordered approximately for four or five times. My issue with this company however is that they do not respond consistently to their customer service requests. They offer a 90 day money back guarantee and I sent my photos at the start of my days and their responded thanking me for my submission, however when it came to the products not actually making a difference with the issue that I initially bought them for they suddenly went silent. I tried to contact them on a number of occasions and simply had no response.
In terms of the products they are nice but I do not feel that they do what they claim to do and that full price they are very expensive.
As of today the website is non-existent which leads me to believe that the company is no longer operating such a shame for yet another black owned business!

If you have bought their products please check they didn't atomically sign you up for AVA+

Bought their buy one get one free body scrub a year ago. Not worth the price. Since then £20 was going out my account. Thats 12 months. Now they say its turns into store credits. Now they emailed me saying that they will close my account to stop any further payments immediately so probably lost whatever store credit they where talking about. Absolute Scam.

Terrible company with terrible / non existent customer service

Absolutely terrible company with terrible or non existent customer service.
How does a company expect to thrive by being dishonest?
I placed an order at the end of last year and bought a gift card as well. I got the body butters I ordered but weeks later, no gift card.
I gave them a while then sent an email, they apologised and sent a code for the £25. Kept having issues with the code however and couldn’t use it. After multiple emails back, I simply gave up.
But recently, I thought to myself, “I shouldn’t let £25 go, I should receive what I paid for”. Sent emails, text message and even reached out on their instagram about this gift card I paid for months ago, no response, none.
They either have no team covering their emails/ messages from customers or they just don’t respond full stop.
You order from them at your own peril, good news if you get your order but very bad news if you don’t as you won’t be able to contact anyone to assist.
I now plan to contact the bank to dispute the payment for the gift card (it was taken out separately) as I didn’t receive what I paid for

I ordered their products in December which was delivered. Only to find out six months down the line that they have been taking £20 from my account every month for a subscription I know nothing about. How and where on earth do people subscribe to facial products? I wonder.......

Made an order on the 7th April . Still hasn’t come . No update regarding shipping or delivery . Customer services have been very unhelpful and sending vague messages with no proper update. Needed this for a holiday and won’t get it . Learnt my lesson . Never ordering again

DONT ORDER

DONT ORDER. Made an order and still haven’t received anything. It’s been over 3 weeks. This is not the first time it happened. AFTER emailing them they finally sent it. There’s been no communication or even a message saying there will be a delay. I have sent 3 emails. The company are either scamming people or can’t keep up with demand. Either way it is VERY disappointing

I have been using Ava Estelle for over a year now and intentionally held off from writing a review because I really wanted to test the product and see how it worked for me over time. I can truly and honestly say this is the real deal and the best product I've ever used on my skin ever! I hardly have any breakouts anymore and when I do (which is self-inflicted as I have a sweet tooth from time to time) the products clear up my breakouts in no time. Now in order for this to work you have to be extremely disciplined, patient (please don't do what I used to and expect the product to work as soon as you use it) and most of all VERY CONSISTENT. A routine is paramount and so is following the instructions which the company have carefully and thoughtfully highlighted not only on the products themselves but also online. I definitely recommend purchasing and using these products as they really do work. I also signed up as a V.I.P and I tell you those store credits come in handy! I end up paying little to nothing and just for postage and packing. Go on, give it a try! This is a genuine review by the way just in case you were wondering. I'm just an extremely excited customer! 😂😂😂

Made a genuine mistake in ordering a repeat subscription (this was not clear at checkout) money was automatically taken from my account and they choose not to refund me. I will use the credits but after that I will not use this company again, a shame really as their products were good.

I've never had a problem with this business. I have been ordering from them a little under a year now they even sent me a personalized video of how appreciative they are for me supporting their business. I use their honey mask and brown sugar scrub. My face has never felt better.

Thieves!!!

Please be very careful with this company. They are scamming people. I made a purchase from them that says buy one get one free but I only received one item. I emailed them and explained, they apologised that it may be browser error and I just let it go. I didn’t order anything from them since then but this morning I got an email that they took £20 subscription fee from my account. I didn’t subscribe with this company. What will I subscribe for? I just read similar reviews on trust pilot regarding this issue. Do not buy from them. They are fraudulent. Why would someone in their right sense make a £20 month subscription from them?? For what???
