Needs improvement
Some disappointment during the process. Apart from the delivery which was quick and straightforward, the process was a bit bumpy.
1)to start with, when providing details of the content of your luggage, a drop down list with names of accessories appears even if you have none of these items inside your luggage(which was my case) you have to choose at least one of them or you can't move on. Later on, 2 days after payment I was contacted by a ELD staff who asked me to provide a full list of items. Finally I managed to provide a proper list with the items. Filling in the form should be made more simple by asking customers to type in names and numbers of items, instead imposing lists of a accessories and items not even contained in your luggage.
2) the pick up time was supposed to take place between 9am and 17h30,in these days and age can't we have a narrower range of times provided to each customer on the pick-up day, so we do not have to stay all day long at home.By the way the DHL driver arrived at 18h15!! Sorry but its not good enough.
3)The DHL driver was whinging because he had to take the 4 stairs to my flat. I know it is not easy if he had plenty of picking up, and he was by himself. On top of that he had to park on a busy street in Paris and deal with everything by himself. I know its DHL who overuse their staff, but ELD should ensure that good practice is maintained and probably suggest that DHL to provide 2 staff when it's busy. At the end of the day we're paying ELD for the service. If you can't be bothered to carry your parcels to the post office, use the service, but be aware that you can face those problems

Expensive but great

This has been a great, if expensive, discovery as to how to get a lot of luggage to Europe whilst travelling by train. It all worked well and the service staff I needed to talk to during the preparation were fantastic. They also called when one of the documents I had to upload wouldn’t open so that French customs could be satisfied. Delivery was exactly as promised

Large bag collect Monday two days …

Large bag collect Monday two days before I travelled, it arrived on the Thursday the day after I arrived home. Very good communication through the collection and the delivery. I would use them again..

Une catastrophe!!!

Une catastrophe!!!! Ils étaient censés venir récupérer mes affaires depuis hier, personne ne m’a contacté, le service client ne répond pas. J’ai mon train dans une heure que je serai obligé de décaler (a mes frais en plus). C’est déplorable, je suis extrêmement déçue. J’ai choisi ce service pour être sans stress et voyager léger mais il me met plus de pression qu’autre chose!

The service was good and fast

The service was good and fast. Unfortunately, the service is charged depending on the number of articles, it would have been better and more practical to charge the total kilograms sent as it is more significant.

Was smooth for the most part

Was smooth for the most part. Delivery was timely and easy. However, on the pick up day, driver was meant to come between 9-530 but ended up coming at 630. Would still recommend this service

Great service

Great service ! Good value !

The only thing to reconsider is including luggage labelling material again. Finding robust label materials at home is simple.

Collecting driver did not attempt to contact the provided phone number when they thought no one was home. After contacting customer service, they ensured that my luggage were to be collected in the next possible time convenient for me - and they were delivered early to their destination. Thanks!

DHL did the job, but with a lot of hiccups.

I was excited by the idea of this service. But I am not exactly sure what they actually do for their money. I paid them, and was then contacted by DHL who actually carried my bag. I travelled by train trying to keep my carbon footprint down. I hope that the bags also travelled by train as this is part of a low carbon future.

Despite modern adress input technology, somehow the wrong post code in Denmark was entered (either by me or the webform). Despite there being only one possible address anywhere near the city I was going DHL could not deliver. I couldn't communicate with them because Eurostar Luggage were their contact. But this shouldn't be a problem for anyone in holiday in a hotel or hostel as the hotel reception can receive the bag on your behalf and you wouldn't need to wait in for two days.

Eurostar luggage were very friendly. Hopefully this is a first step to a future of train travel. But I would love if they could bring back baggage carriage on trains and trollies.
