SPONTAN & Expat Improv sind eine Improschule für Improvisationstheater. Bei SPONTAN wird Impro auf Deutsch gespielt, bei Expat Improv auf Englisch. Beide Formate schaffen einen offenen, unterstützenden Raum für gemeinsames Spielen, Lachen und Improvisieren. In Kursen und Workshops laden wir Menschen dazu ein, gemeinsam zu spielen, zu lachen und Impro zu erleben. --- SPONTAN & Expat Improv are an improvisational theatre school. At SPONTAN, improv is played in German, while Expat Improv offers classes in English. Both formats create an open, supportive space for playing together, laughing, and improvising. Through courses and workshops, we invite people to connect, explore, and experience improv in a playful and welcoming environment.

Expat Improv are working wonders
Expat Improv are working wonders trying to create an improv scene in Nord Rhine Westfalia and this course is another fantastic contribution! The course struck a fine balance between giving people the confidence to work together, encourage one another and trust themselves and their imaginations, introducing Improv games and performance skills, and last but not least having a great laugh along the way! Personally had some challenging life events outside of the workshop and didn't think I could keep going, however Albert (the course leader) was extremely supportive and understanding and checked in with me often which really helped. In the end I thought the show we had worked towards was a big success and imo everyone in our group gave their best performance yet! I know this all sounds a bit over the top and gushing but it is also true so you should probably do this course!

So much fun
So much fun! Really enjoyed being creative and being out of my headspace for a bit. Not only was the class great, but meeting afterwards was a great way to meet fun people. Can't wait to go again :)
