Unprofessional. Bad business ethics.
2 People turned up gave a competitive quote for replacing the lead work. However within 2 hours of arriving they said we also needed other work which over doubled the price. We checked it ourselves as the roof was reflected and tiles 5 years earlier and could clearly see the new felt and so said no. They then wanted to charge us £700 for a small amount of cementing over the chimney stack. This was at most an hours work and had originally said that was included. When challenged they bullied a frail 70+ year old women with COPD and anxiety into paying £500 for this work. They left left over rubbish in the front garden. The 2 men who did the lead work seemed polite and courteous and seemed to do an okay job. But the whole attitude was unprofessional trying to take advantage of 2 single women.
Disgusting behaviour. DO NOT USE THESE ROOFERS. They will try to rip you off.
