We have used Expert for over 5years now after moving from another electrical supplier. The staff are very knowledgeable and couldn’t do more to help you especially Neil.

Rubbish customer service

Rubbish customer service. My order arrived, 7 copper spot lights, they came in white with replacement copper bezels. However, the bezels don’t actually fit the fixture so are unusable. The bezel fittings are completely different and are not interchangeable. I’ve emailed 3 times this week with photos and an explanation and had zero response. Definitely won’t be using this company again.

Replacement bezels have finally arrived, 6 weeks after ordering, and they've sent the wrong ones again!! Seriously, you couldn't make it up! Why no-one checked them before they were sent out to me I'll never know!
A shambles of a company.....AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Hi Gwen,

Apologies about this. I've had a look into this and there has been a redesign of the bezels/fittings recently, with some older stock still in circulation so we can only apologise about this.

I've checked and can see my colleague has actioned the replacements for you last week from the manufacturer and should have informed you of this, however after doing the hard work, you weren't to be aware.

I've chased these and to further complicate matters, the bezels are out of stock with them untill the end of the month I'm afraid and will be shipped once they land.

Luckily these just twist on after installation and won't affect the electrical installation.

Unreliable Company

This company have some good products and prices but the service is so unreliable the trouble you’ll have getting your order and chasing up any refunds isn’t worth the hassle.

Happy to offer and take payment for next day delivery but this last 3 orders I have placed with them have taken closer to a week to deliver and one order never turned up at all. Even after claiming they had stock and letting me select and pay for next day delivery.

Unfortunately it’s been more than one bad experience.
I’ve ordered from you a few times now,
First time the order was dispatched 3 days after it should have been delivered l, then after you cancelled the order a week later and id purchased elsewhere a DPD driver turned up with a parcel with 3 smashed 5ft LED fittings.

Had a couple of orders with fire rated clips and other small accessories which both took over a week to arrive even with express delivery being charged for.

Then the last order said you had fittings in stock, charged me for next day delivery which didn’t happen and even after being promised they were being delivered the next day still took a few days to be delivered.

Left a customer unhappy and meant I had to work a Sunday to do a job that I’d promised a week before.

Then you promised me a refund for the next day postage and 10% off my order but only refunded the 10%.

As I said previously it’s a shame because you have some good products but your service is shocking.

Wouldn’t use you if I was in any hurry for the items I was purchasing.

Quick Response Time

We urgently needed some materials so emailed in with the list.
Neil replied quickly to tell me everything was in stock and the order was turned around and received within 48 hours.
Quality service and would not hesitate to use Expert Electrical again.

Trunking Got Me Crunking

Needed some trunking quicktime on site next day and was struggling to find anyone who would accomodate the order due to the size and location. Expert to the rescue!

Shocking service

Shocking service, kept getting an order wrong so many times, unable to follow simple instructions.

Had to chase up so many times to resolve. Had to chase up their goodwill gesture refund too, unbelievable.

Certainly won't be using again.

I've had a look into this and it seems there was an error when sending this off to our contractor. From discovering this error we expedited this as best we could and made sure the goodwill refund was sent into your account.

Great company, Great services

Lucky to find this company online that has the part we wanted so called to place an urgent order, dealt with Niel who was an excellent agent, a superb service helped us to choose the right part for us.
Time from placing the order to receive the parcel was less than 24 hour.. what a fantastic services all in all

No communication about items not in…

No communication about items not in stock for two weeks. Called them and was told I have to wait another 3 weeks for my order said I would like to cancel order they send out part of it just to stop me from canceling
Can't finish the job now for three weeks avoid ordering from then web page said over hundred in stock at the time of order

Apologies, we did have a stock discrepancy for this item. We updated the delivery date 5 days after the order was placed and you should have received an email to notify you about the new delivery date.

The sales manager

The sales manager, Chris, is a gentleman. I had a slight issue with one of the product. He answered for my emails within an hour, and the second day the new item was delivered to my doorstep. Excellent customer service, I only can recommend them with good heart.

First class service and cost.

This was the first time I have used Expertelectrical and prior to me placing an order they gave me "expert advice". I received my order on time and the quality of product and instructions to fit were excellent.
The price was very competitive.
I shall certainly go to this supplier for future electrical products.

Fantastic service from all concerned.

I required an item urgently and Neil pulled out all the stops to help me out, which I very much appreciated.
My order was delivered as promised, and I will definitely use Expertelectrical again.

Don’t rely on the next day delivery…

Don’t rely on the next day delivery service. Ordered at 230pm before the 3pm cut off. Saw the reviews was confident so went ahead and booked a job miles from home to find out the order hasn’t been processed. So now I cannot do the job and miss out on a days work.

This company comes highly recommended

This company comes highly recommended. Booking process was very easy, the price was accurate, no hidden costs. I would also like to add that the engineer Richard who visited my property was very polite and friendly and was happy to adhere to my requests of wearing a mask given I am high risk. I will be using them in the future and recommending to others

Great service

Great service, the item was not in stock so it took a little bit longer than normal but I was kept informed really well until ready for delivery. Will definitely use them again.
