I have had the the good fortune and pleasure to work with Charlie Wilkes of Fashion Threads Ltd. Charlie (owner) is so generous with her knowledge of the fashion industry, this coupled with the companies expertise, you know you are in safe hands. I take great pleasure in recommending Fashion Threads to those starting out in the fashion industry and businesses already established, Charlie will always steer you in the right direction.

Charlie is amazing—I genuinely couldn’t have done this without her. From the start, she brought not only technical expertise but also insight I didn’t even know I needed. She created my tech pack, but more importantly, she guided me through key details I hadn’t considered and gave me the right kind of “homework” that really expanded my understanding and confidence in the process.

What stood out most was how much time and care she invested. Through our video calls, we explored my ideas in depth, and she used her experience to refine and elevate them. Rather than simply taking my concept at face value, she helped shape it into something even better, saving me from endless back-and-forth down the line.

I can’t recommend Charlie highly enough.

I’ve been communicating with their customer service, but they’ve kept rejecting my order.

At first, I wanted to produce a denim piece, and they said they don’t work with denim. I then asked what they do produce, and they said jersey. So I provided a jersey design to inquire further.

After that, they said they don’t accept customers with non-UK phone numbers. I explained that I currently live in London. Then they said they’re not accepting new clients.

Honestly, I feel they haven’t been very welcoming or friendly toward new customers.

Charlie has been amazing creating my tech pack and bringing it to life.

The ideas, the inspiration and the little tasks that Charlie gave me to do have really helped me and made me think about fabric and logo placement in a way that I haven't thought about previously.

I really loved working with Charlie it's been a pleasure I would highly recommend Fashion Threads, Charlie's knowledge has been outstanding 😊

Charlie Wilkes from Fashion Threads Brighton asks for money up front. I asked her to design a tec pack for me and she charged me up front to do so. When I had paid her she then requested more money up front to design a pattern tile. She said she could not do this and a colleague would be outsourced. This immediately made me highly suspicious and so I started investigating more into it. Actually and this comes from TWO highly experienced other fashion designers that any experienced fashion designer should be able to do pattern tiles and this should have been included in the tec pack. Charlie Wilkes then obviously knew she had been found out decided to attempt a pattern tile for my agreed design. It turned out awful and I could have done better and am not an experienced fashion designer. My advice stear clear of Fashion Threads
