When Finders first contacted me I was not sure I would have the support to go through my journey However they made it easy for me as they sorted everything out for me

When Finders first contacted me I thought it was a scam so I was very sceptical about accepting the help. I did put my trust in them after researching the firm
Throughout my journey with them they have been so helpful and supportive. They did respond quickly to any questions I had. I felt they did everything possible to ensure my journey went smoothly I appreciated it was a long process but felt very supported throughout. I would put my trust in Finders again

The critical mistake made by the company. Wrong heirs approached.

0 stars again. Case Manager knew of Immediate Surviving Next of Kin. Proof by email. Finders International cold call to other next of kin lower down on Legal Succesion Law encouraging them to pursue claim by signing Agreement Form with them. Proof of this from Death Certificate of Immediate Surviving next of kin. Constantly trying to get printed Complaint Forms since 2018 from the Case Manager, Finance Manager and Customer Complaints email. No results. CEO contact email no results. As Finders always say to negatives on here they don't reply individual cases. They don't reply in any format. Had to submit this as 01/09/2025 but it is from 2019.

Beneficiaries …

We had no idea that we were beneficiaries to an uncle's will. Finders traced us and all others who could of benefited. Grateful for doing this.

Great for Public Sector Work

Our council has been using Finders for many years in order to trace the family of deceased people who would otherwise be untraceable or uncontactable by the first line of bereavement care - coroner's, hospitals, nursing homes and local authority. They have been an indispensable step in our process in caring for our deceased under the Public Health Act, helping us ensure that all attempts are made to trace family and that family can be fully informed and deferred to where possible. We have found Finders to be thorough, professional and a great asset to our work.

Suceeded where others failed

Money For Nothing?

I was contacted by Finders in June of 2024, in relation to the estate of a deceased relative of mine. I quickly (and foolishly) signed the offered contract believing that Finders would provide the information and guidance to pursue my claim as a beneficiary of this estate. Over a year later, the affairs of the estate have been finalised this week with thousands of pounds being paid to Finders. Most of the rest of the group of relatives signed with Fraser and Fraser at a rate of 4%. Finders charged me 20%. In that time, I have received half a dozen emails from Finders mostly in response to emails I have sent them. The last communication I received from them was in November 2024.They have provided me with no information at all about the family (in fact, I gave them more information than they gave me); no family tree and no updates about the progress of the Estate. The contract says that they will provide me with 'the details I need to pursue my claim to the inheritance'. As they have not provided me personally with ANY information about the Estate or those involved and ,in fact, almost all of the work required was done by other relatives (very efficiently), I have to rely on them to provide information on my share as Finders have provided me with none. I have never had a problem with providing any company with fair recompense for a service provided but,in this case, I have no idea what Finders have contributed. I would strongly advise anyone who is approached by Finders to have a clear idea of what they are saying they will do and investigate all other options before they sign a contract.

We understand that estate administration can be complex and sometimes frustrating, especially when multiple firms are involved and communication is routed through solicitors. While every case is different, we always aim to be transparent about our terms and fees before any agreement is signed.

Our contingency fee reflects the work involved in identifying beneficiaries, establishing entitlement, and progressing a claim – often before individuals are aware of a potential inheritance. In this case, the estate was resolved in just over a year; well within the 12–18 month timeframe we typically advise, and efficient given the property and legal complexities.

Crazy, but true, it's not a scam

Couldn't believe it when i was told that my granddad's cousin had passed away in America and i'd be one of the heirs. Did some research and decided to hop on board. Now after 3 years everyone's gotten their money, as promised and this whole thing was, as crazy as it feels, not a scam. It felt easy to communicate with the people who worked our case. One of the nice things was that all the money that's paid to the workers of the case and goes to the work itself has already been paid out of the money you're getting, so there's no fear that after getting your part you'd be asked for money for some "random" expenses. I'm glad i hopped on board, thank you Finders!

Obviously at first we thought it was a scam. But we checked out their website and rang them. Once we felt assured ourselves that all communication was legit, we went ahead with the company. It took up to 18 months to complete, as stated, but our outcome was positive and emails, and staff that we spoke with, were very pleasant.

Excellent service for long lost relatives

A hand delivered envelope addressed to me, had been pushed through my letter box in about January 2024. It had been delivered by Finders. I had been traced as a relative to a long lost half cousin in France, who had died intestate.
I have now received my share of my half cousin's estate. Finders kept me informed at every stage and kept to their promised timescale for payment.
An excellent service. Thank you all.

Extremely Disappointed with Service and Data Protection Breach and GPDR.

I am writing to share my experience with Finders International , which has been nothing short of frustrating and distressing. Over a year ago, I was contacted and was then sadly involved with this company regarding my father's case after his sudden passing. The circumstances were already challenging, but the service I received has made things much worse ,I have had so much stress and upset with regards to this case.

Initially, I was assured that my fees would be reduced after raising concerns, but now I’ve been informed that only my fees would be adjusted, which is completely unacceptable and what was not discussed . It was never agreed that only my fees would be addressed, and this lack of clarity feels deceitful.

Moreover, I am appalled by the data protection breach that occurred. Sensitive information about the probate and financial matters was shared with individuals who should not have had access to it. This breach has not only compromised my family's privacy but has also led to severe complications regarding my father's estate.

Communication with the company has been shockingly poor. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone and email, I have not received the support or assistance I expected. It is disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism and care in customer service.

I urge anyone considering using Finders international to think twice. My experience has shown that they do not prioritize their clients’ well-being or data protection. I hope my review helps others avoid the stress and frustration that I have faced.
I am still awaiting a phone call back to discuss the fees as the information I was given from the senior manager of the team for the company who has said differently to what we discussed.This has caused significant stress throughout the last year to myself and the other parties involved in such a upsetting situation we have been thrown into ,no empathy at all throughout the case .
I hope to hear from someone who can look and resolve this issue phone calls needs to be checked and letters looked at as this was never discussed with fees as despite several attempts to get hold of the manager who I dealt with to resolve this I have heard nothing .

Excellent result on difficult Spanish property

We are all incredibly pleased with our experience working with Finders International. We had a property in Spain, which we could not do anything with, despite several attempts. Finders International were very professional and organised throughout, they took on several months of legal work to resolve the legal issues, and then handled all the sale process for us and we achieved an excellent sale figure. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who has property in Spain which they need legal support with.

Some more details, the property in Southern Spain, was bought by my Father, Uncle and grandmother jointly in the 1970's. All 3 of these relatives had passed away now, and we in addition no longer had the property deeds, the property had been boarded up as there had previously been squatters. There were increasing council tax debts on the property, but as we couldn't take ownership, we couldn't even pay these. Finders dealt with all the details and covered all the upfront costs. We received the sale proceeds which were greater than we anticipated, with a full breakdown of all the costs as we expected. I would feel completely happy recommending them to anyone, particularly if there are any legal difficulties with a foreign property.
