Due to an oversite by First Port Property Management at Highlands Apartments, Romford regarding ensuring all the documentation First Port impose on contractors (at residents cost), this documentation wasn't in place before work commenced. This has resulted in the exterior decoration having to be stalled, causing lost income to the contractors, extending the cost of the scaffolding hire and further compromising the burglary risk via extended scaffolding access, along with restricting the visibility of a number of the retirement apartments, which affects residents quality of life with mobility problems. Further more whilst the scaffolding remains unused the windows have to remain closed for security, which causes extreme temperatures to build within the apartments affecting the wellbeing of the elderly occupants.
This is complete incompetence on First Ports part.

I bought a flat last year which is unfortunately owned by First Port. Within weeks the porch light broke in the middle of winter and it took calling and emailing every day for 2 months for them to fix it. There most recent scam is taking my bike from the communal area and charging me £90+VAT to return it. There was no communication regarding this until I chased for CCTV of the theft of my bike. They are scammers and crooks.

My grandparents moved into a development in east grinstead which is managed by first point and it’s the best thing they’ve ever done! It’s such a wonderful place to live and most importantly they feel so safe there.
My Nan recently got prescribed a home oxygen supply and within a week the manager had arranged for a site visit from the local fire brigade and a Health and safety assessment was carried out straightaway with all the relevant signage put up.
Anything that needs fixing within the development is always done straight away and the communal are always kept immaculate. Everything runs so smoothly and they never have any issues, if they do they’re always resolved so quickly.
Shane the manager is what tops it all off. He’s so helpful, friendly and caring. Nothing is too much for him and he’s always checking in on my grandparents and we feel so much comfort knowing they have him there.

I would like to mention Sarah Jackson at Weldale. She is exceptionally helpful and very enthusiastic. She is an asset to your company . Weldale has become a fabulous place to live as Sarah can always be relied on for anything needed . Everyone says the same.

Dreadful company. My experience is over the past few years.
FirstPort are nethical, intimidating, inefficient. Not confidential.
I would be glad to see the back of them but like many, am stuck..
Only good thing is development manager who is splendid.

Doreen ( i was advised) sene a letter dated 12the april received on 27th of April 2026 in error. We all make mistakes but yours are constant

I will go to the Ombudman next.

Absolutely disgusting company. You wait on the phone for nearly an hour and when they do answer you do not get any help from them. I moved into our new property a year ago now and my husband and I and our Solicitors have been waiting for an updated Certificate of compliance to Satisfy the Land Registry this has been going on for a year now and still not received it . We have decided to sell our property as we do not want to pay this company anymore management fees after the way we have been treated. I would avoid anywhere where this company manages the grounds.

I have no words to describe this purportedly property management company and zero stars if possible would be more accurate. No escape from unfortunately but be prepared for inflated bills and incompetent accountancy that leads to additional bills from previous years which should surely be accounted for and if not the shortfall should be met by any reputable company. Consistent complaints remain unanswered even if escalated to senior management who obviously don’t care.
Given any opportunity to change management provider I would not hesitate.

I have owned a flat managed by peveral OM and now first port. Absolute shit the charges go up constantly and recently I presume another Tennent must have raised an issue with billing and we received a 500 refund. The problem is when you look at the invoices they are so complicated to the average person that who knows if we are actually recieving what we are billed for. But either way extortionate. We were being billed for bird boxes in all for helping nature but I’ve never seen any. Unless thats a term used for something else.

Property managers for our development. Experience of dealing with them on so many fronts has been frustrating.

Lived here (Homelawn House) for about 15 months. Good clean well maintained building with good communal places, laundry and gardens. The manager, Joy, is extremely helpful and supportive. There are good social activities and services.

This is my 31st review of FraudPort since April 2025, and I still haven't had any meaningful reply to any of our issues. Many of these reviews have replies to say that the company will respond, but here we are after 9 months and nothing has changed, no response has been provided. The replies on here are untrue, just like the constant lies from the staff.

We're preparing court papers to try and recoup some of our mismanaged funds. We're also in contact with Action Fraud.

Barbara maintains a high standard of maintenance both regarding the property & grounds of Camsell Court.
Residents are kept informed of ongoing issues, events, repairs etc via monthly meetings, a monthly newsletter & diary of events.

Ellie is first class. Hardworking, but always approachable. It makes life so much easier and more enjoyable with someone like this in charge

I reside at Cooper Court, Maldon. I have been a resident since 2020. Over the past 5 years the service has improved significantly, mainly due to a change in Area Manager, Kev, is so much better than the previous post holder. As for our live in manager, Pauline, I cannot express in words the appreciation we all have for everything she does for us. The environment and atmosphere has vastly improved and I absolutely love living here. Top job Pauline: thank you.

I have previously written a review on my experience of a Firstport development at Cooper Court of which I gave a 5 star review. My star rating having lived at Cooper Court for just over a year hasn’t changed if I could increase it I would. I find this development and the service provider excellent. The manager here Pauline is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. We would be a ship without a rudder without her. Great people great development no complaints. Love it here.

Don’t have anything to do with any property they “manage”. Hopelessly inefficient and unbusinesslike. Their Development and Area Managers are not even allowed to contact their bosses, if you can believe that. They profess to put the residents first and have their safety and comfort in mind at all times. However when I was attacked by another resident in which the Police were involved they were not in the least bit interested. Susie
