Feels like I’ve been robbed. Spent £137 on a pair of running shoes which seemed like they were never going to arrive. Once it reached the time period where I could claim a refund they kept asking me to wait a few days. Eventually they arrived but were a US 6. The website was .co.uk and no mention of them being US sizes. Now I can’t get a refund as it is outside the refund period as they took 2 months to arrive instead of 3 weeks. No response to emails, so no chance of getting money back. Avoid, unless you want to risk being scammed.

Like others have said, lures you in with good prices, takes your money, then when you realise that they don't actually have the product they have sold you, you find out they've robbed you in the terms and conditions. It might or might not violate The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 but it's definitely in bad faith. The long shipping time helps with the scam because they hope that you will give up waiting and cancel before they have to let you know they can't fulfil the order. They can then rob you of the 17% 'restocking fee'. How can you restock something you never had in stock? What a joke.

I would give zero stars if I could. This company are clearly nothing more than a drop ship outfit, but I did not know this when I ordered from them. They do not make this clear. I ordered a book which is really hard to source at the moment. When I checked my order two days later, they said "your order is delayed while we check our suppliers" (Bad luck, Amazon is out of stock!) I smelt a rat knowing that these books are like hen's teeth, and as there was another copy that had just come up on ebay I wanted to cancel. Their website said that you could cancel if the order hadn't been shipped. I cancelled and bought the one on ebay. The refund came today and they HAD DEDUCTED A £5 RESTOCKING FEE for something that is NOT IN STOCK! When I checked the small print, it does say that they charge a fee but I was expecting that would be if it had been shipped, not if they were failing to fulfill the order! It almost feels like a scam although it will be perfectly legal as they do refer to this fee on their site. Business plan idea: "Let's advertise something we don't have, scare people into cancelling their orders, and then pocket £5 for doing nothing". Sharp tactics and I will be telling everyone via social media. Disgusting. UPDATE After I typed an email of complaint, a couple of bad reviews including this one, and some bad mouthing on Facebook, today I was promised my £5 back. I have received this into my paypal account, but I wonder would they have refunded it if I hadn't kicked off? I doubt it, and no doubt they make a lot of money from people who don't fight back. I will never use them again.

Steer clear of this company, I ordered a supplement that they took the money for and almost 7 weeks later still nothing . When I complained about this They replied to an email explaining that it had been sent and gave a tracking number that showed it had been posted, that’s it, no more details 7 weeks on, my order seems to have disappeared. I doubt they even made the order . I was given a link to make a claim that doesn’t work it just has you going round in circles . What a waste of time and money

This company is another that actually has no stock of its own and simply sells for other businesses.
This is a very unsatisfactory business model for consumers and you only find that out when your order either doesn’t arrive or takes ages.
I ordered 6 copies of a book for my wife’s book club. They were cheap but took almost 4 weeks to arrive.
If you want anything quickly, avoid this company.

First order off them, saw a lot of stick about their P&P. However, I was told that it would take 4 weeks when I ordered but it actually arrived earlier and was kept up to date as to when it was shipped. Can't complain as prices were cheap for my items. Think some people might have ordered off wrong Fish Pond, i.e. NZ site and that's why P&P might have went wrong. Will definitely look here for deals if I don't need items in a hurry.

Placed an order for a boardgame on the 17th February and was given an estimated delivery aim of 5th March. Given how they operate, and the game being half the price of elsewhere, I was happy to wait. Item was updated on the 23rd as Shipped and arrived this morning via Royal Mail 24, well packaged and just as I ordered.
As first orders go, this was excellent!

I read the numerous bad reviews after I had made a purchase and was worried. In fact I received my book in perfect condition within a week of ordering. I'm giving 4 stars because the customer communication relies on you checking the website, I did not even get a confirmation email. But it worked fine for me.

This company are a scam. I wish I had read the reviews first but they don’t have any products in stock. They are a drop shipping company so when you order they then try and order from someone else

Do not order from this company, it is a scam, ordered a book on 4th July and it’s still not arrived. I have had a couple of emails blaming post due to Covid, it was apparently dispatched in the UK! What a load of rubbish, making a claim via Pay Pal. I wasn’t 100% when I ordered, next time I will use my gut instinct. I will also be reporting to trading standards and watch dog!

I tried to place an order on this website, putting in my card details. The order wouldn't go through, I had no order confirmation on the screen or by email, but now they have taken the money from my bank account. No means of tracking or cancelling the order on their site. Very doubtful if this is a genuine company.

I purchased manga on March 23, 2020 and April 2, 2020 and I have yet received anything but lost money down the drain horrible customer service won’t reply to any emails about items that I purchased doesn’t care about the customers only taking their money no refund it shouldn’t take 3 months for my books I feel like I’ve been scammed NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER order from this site you’ll never get your money back because they will NEVER respond

Ordered my little girls Christmas present from here on 5th December, on 20th December went to check if order had been shipped and although order number on my account no products listed, no shipping and no funds from account. No email to notify me my order was cancelled either. This was the main Christmas present for a little girl, had printed e gift cards as well. Thank goodness she didn’t get to see them. Thanks a lotFishpond.co.uk. Useless website, avoid.

Very bad experience, please do not waste your money! I ordered Dermo Ointment from these people back at the beginning of September. I did received a leaflet explaining the use of dermo ointment but no ointment. They are now telling me that I ordered a book! It is a leaflet on the usage. My email from them acknowledging the order very clearly states the order is for Dermo Ointment! Wow, I have spent £10.46 on a leaflet! Absolutely disgusting, please avoid, wish I had read the reviews before ordering.

I have had several issues with this dubious company's NZ and Australian sites but now find their UK subsidiary maybe worse. BEWARE. They are liars and customer service goes to whoever is there so no continuity in following through with a complaint. They advertise free shipping worldwide and in the UK too. But the book I wanted was 21 pounds something and then after I put it in my shopping basket and entered my address (New Zealand) it had turned into 29 pounds something. So I didnt proceed but wrote to query. I got 2 emails back from the same (seemingly helpful) staff member asking for screenshot etc as she would look into it.. Next day a ridiculous email from a different name says in substandard English "sometimes stock varies and prices change"!!!!! So I sent back another screenshot showing book's original price hasn't changed!!! BE VERY CAREFUL. They are either very stupid and/or a fraudulent operation. Maybe i should also write up my problems with their Downunder operations!!

A pack of mouthwash is not a bottle and a bottle wouldn't cost next or near €19. Customer service emailed me and said the wrong barcode was was attached to the product page.
All I wanted was a refund for the remainder of the pack that I didn't receive.

I won't be using fishpond again, they charged me a restocking fee of £9.46, this is 17% of the total cost of an item i ordered from them, the order was canceled less than 2 hours after making order, my reason for canceling the order was that they gave a delivery estimate to be between 13-24 april, when they showed it as in stock, order made on 30 march
