Part of the order was missing
The delivery company separated the package, and one component was missing.
Your excellent customer advisor (I think it was Grant or Greg) explained what had happened. The missing part arrived the next day.

Great range of items
Great range of items on sale at very reasonable prices. The real killer is the postage prices . The postage was more than the goods which took away the value for money . 💰 . Having said that the item I wanted wasn't readily available elsewhere so will probably use F&F again when needs must . On reflection I have upgraded my initial rating as I feel it was a little harsh .

We pride ourselves on offering real value for money on both our fixings, and our postage - offering free next day delivery on orders over £50.
We are one of the very few fixings suppliers that offer our customers the ability to order non box quantities - we dont force customers to buy a pack of 100 when they only need a few.
With Fix and Fast you can literally order one screw if that's all you need -at cost of one or two pence. The flip side to that is that postage costs from the trusted carriers we use,such as Royal Mail are fixed, and yes in instances like this postage will cost more that than the fixing supplied.
That said we are regularly praised for our postage charges - one review just 5 days ago stated 'sensible postage costs'.
