Got my car back after a month of…
Got my car back after a month of repairs, only to find my car completely broken, doesn't start , all warnings lights on. Incredible !

Hi,
Thank you for your patience, and please accept our apologies for the slight delay in getting back to you. It took some time to identify the correct repair record, as the name on the Trustpilot review did not match the vehicle owner’s details in our system.
Now that we have located the information, I’d like to share a clear timeline of events and explain what we believe has happened.
The original repairs to your vehicle were completed on 20th October. At the time, you declined to collect the vehicle due to concerns that the corrosion on the alloy wheels was related to the impact, although we did share that it was highly unlikely to be related we agreed to approach your insurance company with your claim. Following assessment, your insurance company confirmed that the wheel corrosion was not connected to the impact and therefore could not be included in your insurance claim. You also advised us that you planned to instruct an independent engineer; however, we did not receive any further correspondence regarding that and you still refused to collect your vehicle.
As a result, your vehicle remained on our premises for over a month, until it was finally delivered on 21st November. During this extended period of inactivity, the battery unfortunately went flat. We charged the battery prior to returning the vehicle to you, but it appears the charge may not have held.
It’s worth noting that when a battery is depleted, various warning lights may appear on the dashboard when attempting to start the car. This is a common occurrence and often resolves once the battery is replaced or fully recharged.
We have reached out to your insurance company again to explain the situation and to ask whether they are willing to cover the cost of a replacement battery. As soon as we receive an update from them, we will be in touch. We do suspect they may take the same view as the wheel issue and deem it as an occurrence caused by the delays that were incurred due to your insistence that corrosion was caused by the impact damage.
In the meantime, please feel free to contact us if you would like a further update. It may also be quicker to speak directly with your insurance company or the fee payer, as we can only act in line with their instructions. Unfortunately, because the wheel corrosion was deemed unrelated to the claim, our ability to take further action at the time was limited, which ultimately contributed to the delays and the battery issue.
As you can see from the above, we cannot be held accountable for the delays as they were between yourself and the fee payer, as such we would respectfully request you amend your review with a focus on the actual service and repairs to your vehicle.
Thank you for your understanding. We will update you as soon regarding your battery as we hear back from your insurer.
Flawless Service from Fix Auto
From beggining to end the service was flawless and they work seamlessly with Enterprise to ensure getting the car dropped off and then into my hire car was again seamless. The staff are so kind and considerate that I was assisted at everystage as a disabled driver to ensure the whole experience was as stress free as humanly possible. Even a courtesy call to assure me that the bodyworks where being fixed on schedule and I would be back with my own vehicle very soon. I insisted the gentlemen dropping off my vehicle had a quick coffee and a box of chocolates are enroute to Hainault at speed

First class service and repair
Our insurance company directed us to Fix Auto after a bad side collision. The whole process was lengthy owing to sourcing parts, but Fix Auto gave us weekly updates on the progress of the repair and we were able to pick the car up a week before the estimated completion date. The car looks as good as new now, which is a good psychological boost. As well as a good standard of repair, the staff were friendly and informative throughout, and I felt the car was in safe hands. Would definitely recommend.

Fix Auto good customer service
Fix Auto contacted me quickly once my insurance claim was approved. They accommodated me by allowing me to send photos of the damage via a link they provided. The car was there for a couple of weeks because of waiting for parts but I had a good size courtesy car. They kept in touch regularly with updates until my car was ready to collect. The only criticism I have is that initially I tried to contact them and it goes through to a central number which doesn’t get a reply.

Repaired my car within 24 hours for half the price I was quoted elsewhere. Kept me informed throughout and gave my car a good clean too. Hope I never have to use them again, but my go-to for any dings.

Great work done, amazing customer service! Daniel helped take the car in for repairs. He was very informative and went through the process with me in detail. He saw that I had a car seat in my car and went above and beyond to get me a courtesy car that could accomodate the car seat. I really appreciated this as this was something I was previously told (on the phone) that this was not in their control. I was given realistic approximate times of completion and this was followed up with a progress call with Daniel every four days. Picking my car up and dropping the courtesy car off was just as easy. Thanks Daniel and the rest of the team for getting my car back to showroom condition!
