We used FixTheMusic to book both a band (The Barrow Boys) and DJ (DJ Karl) for our wedding. Not only were they both brilliant, but the process was incredibly seamless. I would absolutely recommend using FixTheMusic!

He hired them for our wedding outside of Pisa. We had a live violinist for the ceremony and a DJ with a speaker/amp for the ceremony, appertivo, dinner, and reception.

Communication prior to the wedding was excellent. Paul, the manager, met us on a video call as we discussed our timeline for the wedding day. We provided several Spotify playlists the the DJ used as a guide for a general vibe at the different points of the wedding. We provided the walk out music and when to play everything.

On the wedding day, the DJ and his assistant arrived early and set up everything before guests arrived. They played music as guests were enjoying a welcome drink. The violinist came a little later. She was there in time to set up before the ceremony but not enough time for me to meet her or make sure she knew what to play. Although we sent the walk out music with timing, the violinist did not fully understand what music to play and played one song twice instead of the two we chose. This did not impact the ceremony negatively. I doubt any of my guests even noticed. At the walk out after the ceremony, the wrong version of a song was played, instrumental instead of with lyrics. Again, this did not negatively effect the ceremony.

Appertivo had no issues. There was a problem with the first dance songs. I asked for a song to start at a specific time stamp because the beginning of the song is quite slow, however, the DJ just started the song at the beginning and played the song through. We worked with it and it was a very special moment.

The music during dinner was perfect. The DJ set up a speaker outside and played music from the playlist we provided. It was soft, allowing for conversations to continue but with a nice underlying musical tone. He provided a microphone for speeches during dinner and was very flexible for timing.

The reception blew my expectations away. The DJ kept the party alive and transitioned very well. We provided a playlist but welcomed the DJ changing. Several guests recommended songs and the DJ accommodated. All my guests were American and the DJ played music that Americans dance to. We had an impromptu dance off and the DJ rolled with it perfectly. We received nonstop compliments about the DJ during the reception.

Overall it was a 5 star experience. The minor problems are to be expected when working across languages for a destination wedding. I would recommend Party Sax and DJ to anyone.

Roameo were absolutely incredible and brought so much energy to our wedding! They were able to adapt to a unusual setting in terms of performance (restaurant literally on a beach) and make our dinner and party exactly as we envisioned. The singing and the atmosphere was so great that our family and friends are still talking about it, many months later! Highly recommended.

A huge thank you for playing at our wedding on Saturday. The band and music were a massive hit. Many of our friends, family, and even the venue staff and wedding planner told us you were the best wandering band they had ever seen!

The energy and the dancing, even by 4 pm, were exactly what we wanted. Thank you for making everyone smile. My only regret from the wedding is that I didn’t get to spend more time listening to and dancing to your music!

We booked Voxxy and DJ along with the saxophonist for our wedding and they were incredible! We were on the dancefloor the whole night! Would highly recommend if you love club/dance music, want a real party atmosphere and to listen to all your favourite songs live!

We booked Forever Diamonds for an 80th birthday celebration at Glenbervie House & Country Estate in Larbert. Adam was great to deal with, very easy and straightforward.
The band on the night were absolutely incredible super friendly and keeping the dance floor full all evening, Our guests even commenting ‘this is the best band I’ve ever heard’.
If you’re looking for a band for a big celebration I highly recommend Forever Diamonds.

They were professional, compassionate, and so attentive to every detail, effortlessly adapting to last-minute changes with total grace. Their talent and stage presence are unmatched, and our friends and family are still raving that it was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. We love The Puppets and can’t recommend them enough!

The City Lights band ‘rocked the castle’ in Siena at a beautiful wedding celebration there last month! Even though the band members flew in ‘from all over’ they were “tight as white on rice”! Donato, Massimo, Gianluca, Luca and Andrea were the PERFECT fit for our al fresco market dinner reception. What a delight Donato's easy and spirited vocals were as he moved around the space engaging guests delivering the Italian favorites. Massimo on accordion is nothing short of enchanting and Gianluca, Luca and Andrea backing on strings and percussion round the group out magnificently. Having worked with many, many bands in Italy and around the world, I cannot speak highly enough of The Tuscan Tale.
