Won't issue full refunds for cancelled events

Hello sunshine festival was cancelled and hello sunshine are pushing people to flicket as they managed the tickets. Full refunds aren't coming through, I'm down about 20% of what I paid, for an event cancelled out of my control. Dodgy company ripping people off.
Edit - was finally refunded the remaining amount, but only after i was able to share a screenshot of the T&C's to them. They didn't come forward honestly with the remaining refund until i showed their own terms back, whcih had been removed from the website when the event was cancelled. Not worth the risk.

Looks like your review is actually about Sunshine Festival, not us here at Flicket. Just to clear things up, Flicket is the ticketing platform, we help event organisers sell tickets, kind of like how Shopify helps people run online stores.

But when it comes to refunds, event cancellations, ticket policies those are all handled by the event organiser, in this case, Sunshine Festival.

Concert tickets think I’ve been scammed

Think this might be a scam. Purchased via the website x3 tickets for the Sublime concert at Havelock North advertised for 2nd January. 1st January evening checking the e-tickets I got sent saying 2nd Jan, as seen other publicity saying 1st Jan is the final concert! Seems like a scam 😡🤬😡

Thanks for your review, I believe this might actually relate to the Sublime concert hosted by Black Barn, rather than Flicket directly.

Flicket is the ticketing platform that powers events, much like how Shopify powers online stores. We help event organisers sell and manage tickets, but things like postponements, communications, and ticketing policies are managed by the event organisers themselves, in this case, Black Barn.

The concert went ahead, so we hope you managed to catch it and enjoyed the show.

No response when I was overcharged.

I purchased two tickets to a concert which left me out of pocket $60 due to what I think was an online ticketing system issue or human error. I emailed their support team, no response. I then reached out through Facebook Messenger, twice, both times no response. I got automated replies saying “Flicket typically replies in 1 day”. It's now been over 2 weeks and I've realised that this company is not going to reply to me and address the issue.

I understand that errors can happen, and I would have been OK with that…. if they had responded, but I now feel they have taken my money and for lack of a better term – ghosted me.
