Disappointing
Recently, I have been renovating a property and needed some flooring for my kitchen.
I went into this branch of Floorstore 4/5 times over the last few months.
I was looking for help , advice and assistance .
I found the staff most unhelpful, disinterested and surly.
After 6-8 weeks i am still waiting for a quotation for my floor !!!
This experience has been extremely bad and extremely disappointing .

We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after visiting the store several times and not receiving your quotation. This is certainly not the level of customer service we strive to provide, and we sincerely apologise for the disappointment caused. We appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve our service.
Clearing up.
Was left with all the leftover carpet/grips/underlay etc. which took 4 bin liners full, which I had to drag downstairs and out to garage and then get to tip. Must be really difficult for a lot of people. Once you pay then there is no aftercare. However the carpets were fitted well and look lovely.

Came in asked for cloud 9 underlay…
Came in asked for cloud 9 underlay which is a well know brand in the market. Said yes we have it. Sold me it, when another bloke put it in the car it was a completely different brand. Went back and challenged and sales bloke told me its their own brand and they call it cloud 9. Very misleading and dishonest.
Also they give you 'discount '(probably hiked up to start) if you leave a positive review with them BEFORE a purchase. So just beware, I wouldn't trust most of their reviews as mostly will have been done to get a better price.
Won't be returning.
Edit....don't listen to their response to this review. 100% tried to sell be the underlay as the branded product. At no time said it's our own label version of it. Also on the reviews, they are doing exactly as I've described as the same thing happened on a previous visit and saw them doing it with other customers.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE

Just had an excellent experience with Chris
Just had an excellent experience with Chris who helped us choose flooring for the entire House (wood and carpet). It’s especially good that the store was open on a Sunday! He even had treats for the dogs. The whole process was completely stress free and Chris was very knowledgeable! Great service

Exceptional service from start to finish
Exceptional service from start to finish. The staff at Floorstore, Cross Gates were very helpful and knowledgable. Rob came out quickly to measure up and give a quote, he was professional and friendly and gave us a great deal. Fitting was arranged promptly, the fitter was a credit to the company his work was second to none. The flooring looks amazing. Thank you Floorstore.

Friendly, helpful and great choice of products
Wendy at the Harrogate store was so friendly and helpful, made some great suggestions, and loaned us samples to try at home. The store has a wide choice of carpets and flooring at a range of prices - it can be a little bewildering but all the staff are knowledgeable and make it easy to focus on the right range for your budget and room style.
