Anyone wanting to take part should. It seems weird to start with and very risky. They do everything to make sure will be safe and look after you well.
Any questions they will happily answer. I loved my stay and would defiantly take part again in the future.

Everyone was really nice during the whole process. Super transparent and professional. I had absolutely 0 symptoms (lucky me). The only problem for me is that I'm not used to sit for too long and started to get a bit of back pain. But that's just me, not the study. I really recommend. Would do it again if I have the spare time.

My experience with Flucamp has been overwhelmingly positive. I registered with them in and initially I wasn't suitable for the trial they were conducting at that point. Fast forward a few months and I was contacted for a new study which I did qualify for and I had my second medical.

Following a short delay to the trial start date (which I was kept in the loop about without the need to continuously chase), I commenced my 13 night residential stay in London.

My stay was pleasant. All aspects of th study was discussed in detail. The en-suite room was comfortable and having a PS4 to use and wifi so I could work my day job whilst there was very helpful. The food was decent and plentiful and all the staff were very friendly. I found my stay very relaxing. The only thing I was gutted about was I missed the heatwave that occurred whilst I was there.

All payments were received on time with no issues.

I would highly recommend Flucamp to any potential volunteer. I have recently commenced the process to do another trial with them and have recently had a refresher blood sample at their Manchester site so all being well, I will be enjoying another relaxing 2 week stay shortly.

Started the process in November, had a blood test which was all fine, also went to a full medical screening in January which I passed, since then I have actively been chasing them via email & phone to take part in a trial but they keep changing the dates etc only to be told today that I won't now be able to go in on the 19th March which was pencilled in ages ago, terrible and a huge waste of time & effort. Avoid like the plague!

I registered a week ago, completed the application online and at the same time booked the first visit. There were lots of dates and times available and I booked a time that suited me. Got a call next day at the preferred time I indicated in my application. It was just an informal chat notifying me I missed a section from the application form. I filled that in and received a call next day to inform me my application is complete and they are expecting me on my chosen day for the test and gave me a quick overview of the test. It’s just a simple blood test basically…All the interaction was very easy and friendly.
On Monday I went for my first blood test, it lasted about 25 minutes. The collection of the blood itself is very fast and painless, the nurses are very professional and kind. It lasted that long because I had to read through some papers, but they also send them in an email in advance, so if you read them at home then this visit can be even shorter.
The next day, exactly after 24h after the test I received an email with a 40£ compensation for this.
I really hope everything goes smoothly with my test and I am selected for the study! I got really excited about it!

I had my 1st app in Nove 2022 and it was a smooth, pleasant experience. Since then it's been nothing but a nightmare, constant back and forth calls over the past 4 months just to arrange my 2nd app. There callback system is so backwards by design. I just received a call today for a regeneration application?! I've called them 20 times over the past 4 months to continue my application and constantly get told I will receive a call by this time and date and then I'll randomly get a miss call a week or two later. Also when I actually do speak to people I get contradictive responses. Stating I need to speak with my GP, I speak to them who advised everything has been sent months ago and is done. Then I callback to Flucamp and get ''Yeah we have everything we require from your GP, don't know why you was told that'' They spend money on advertising and need volunteers yet they have volunteers and don't utilise them? I've already been told I have blood work that fits the studies, why is this process being such hardwork.

Not quite the room I was expecting going by the FluCamp YouTube videos and a friend's experience. I was expecting a room in a hotel-type setting, not a room similar to that in a hospital. The room was averagely sized, with your own private bathroom and a fairly comfortable bed. However, there was a lack of privacy as the blinds to the corridor outside needed to be kept open at all times, and there was no window to the outside world either which did feel a little claustrophobic at times. Also, sleeping at night was a nightmare, with the bright lights in the corridor generally being kept on until well after 12am; I would be lucky to have more than 6 hours sleep, considering we were woken between 6.30-7am. Additionally, it didn't help when the nurses would be occasionally laughing and talking loudly outside the rooms until the early hours. The food was pretty grim too, breakfast was generally served cold, and dinner was bland, tasteless and inedible most of the time (chicken and cous cous with no sauce being the stand out worst).

There is a TV provided with a PS4 and I took several books too, so boredom wasn't an issue and I actually found the time went quickly! If you can keep yourself entertained, you'll be fine. You're also able to WFH too, so if your job allows, it's ideal. The staff were absolute diamonds too, they were all so lovely, friendly and chatty which helps when you have no other face to face contact! The only minor downside was they often forgot to bring you water or snacks after asking them for it, and you're not allowed to leave the room to get it yourself, but they're no doubt busy so can't be faulted for it.

The screenings were a doddle. If you have a good level of fitness with a fairly clean bill of health, you'll be fine. However, it is quite inconvenient to have to travel all the way to London on the first screening just for a blood test. It took me three hours to travel there, and I was out within 20 minutes. You feel they'd offer the blood test at a local clinic or doctor's surgery. The second screening was more in depth, so more understandable.

Overall, I'd recommend as a good way to earn £4k if you're okay with needles, being on your own for long periods, and not getting much sleep. I never got any symptoms of the virus they gave me too, so it was the easiest money I could make!
