We have used Franklin and Hawkins twice and really appreciated the care, respect, and dignity they showed. The recent service they organised was beautiful, with the team guiding us through each part of a difficult journey. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

When my Dad died in a hospital 3 hours after visiting him,I couldn't believe what I was seeing when all the family and me returned to that place, he was the colour of mustard and looked like something out of horror movie, hospital put down pneumonia? Anyway we had Franklin & Hawkins funeral Directors and my god what an amazing family funeral firm. I was outside when my Dad was in the parlour,I wasn't going in to see him, after what I saw in hospital, a lady friend who was walking past told me to go in, eventually I did and when I saw my old man I actually swore and said xxxx He was immaculately dressed like he always was and he looked amazing (it would of bought tears to a glass eye) every last detail was excellent, and they even came to the wake for half hour, I recommended this firm to 7 other families,who all used them plus 2 more of my family members. Thank you so much for everything Franklin & Hawkins10/10.
Just wanted to update a few things, I'm new to all this.
The date of my experience is 2009, but the calendar says out of range, so the date is the day of writing my experience.
When they prepared/presented my old man,and I wasn't going to go in and see him, I'm so glad my passing friend said go in. But so extremely proud and grateful to Franklin & Hawkins staff and firm for what they done, They also managed to keep coffin open for extra week so my Aunties and Uncles dad's brother's and sisters arriving from Ireland could see him,they were amazed. And one thing I love, is 17 years later, people giving reviews about there experience.
So anyone suffering or experiencing a loss, Sincere Condolences 🙏 and this family run Funeral Parlour is excellent and will help in any way while you grieve for you loss.

Thank you to Carol who was there for me my sister and my family. Carol was so kind and supportive throughout the entire time, it was like speaking to a friend or family member which made us feel at ease and comforted knowing that we had made the right decision of who to lay our Mom to rest with .
Andy was also very supportive and directed the funeral with love and compassion when we needed it the most . I would recommend Franklin and Hawkins to anyone who has to go through such a difficult process , Thank you for everything you have done .

Franklin and Hawkins are an excellent funeral directors their time patience and kindness meant a lot to us nothing with too much trouble I would also like to thank Kirsty especially for her kindness her patients and going well above and beyond to help me. everyone who worked there made us all feel less anxious my sister Iris is now at peace the funeral service was exactly what we wanted .

I've used this company 3 times in the past 24 months sadly losing both my parents and my brother which was a very difficult time I can not thank all the staff for their kindness and compassion, Gary, Teresa and Nick were all amazing they go above and beyond to make the day as special as can be and do there 100% best to make any wish possible beautiful family run business. My son’s father passed away at the end of October. Franklin and Hawkins assisted us with the funeral and I couldn’t ask for better service. They were absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend them. They were caring and compassionate. Well done to them Rachael

My sister-in-law recommended Franklin and Hawkins when my dad died in August. I had not heard of them as they are a small family run Funeral Directors and I am so thankful for the recommendation.
The whole experience from the initial contact to the funeral day was outstanding. The care, support and kindness in planning the funeral was so very much appreciated, they were patient and compassionate, nothing was too much trouble and I felt reassured and supported through a difficult time.
After speaking to them about my dad and the kind of man he was, they were able to recommend Alan Penny, a celebrant who showed the same professionalism and compassion both in planning for and on the day of the service.
Their care and professionalism on the day of the funeral was second to none. Everything was handled beautifully and with such kindness. It felt personal and thoughtful. Their warmth and guidance brought us real comfort when we needed it most.
I cannot recommend them highly enough and I am so grateful to them for supporting us through a most difficult time in our lives.
