Half a job
I didn't have the best experience with this company to be honest. I spoke to the main Sales guy on the phone about my situation initially and he gave a good sales pitch and about closing by business within 3 months 'legally and compliantly' - so I gave them the £500 (ish) to do that.
What they actually did in reality was just to send off a form to companies house (cost £10 i think) and put an advert in the newspaper to close my business. They don't have accountants as part of their set up so they didn't close anything with HMRC - I was lucky that HMRC took my last submitted corporation tax return as my 'final return'. But I was receiving HMRC letters for months after 'closing' by company as that wasn't something they did - kept advising me to chase HMRC myself to tell them.
Closing on Companies House is one thing... closing in all other ways (namely HMRC chasing you for unpaid tax!) is another!
I could have probably done what they did myself. I wouldn't recommend.

I am sorry you were disappointed in the service you received from our team. I am unable to locate your case notes without your surname, company name or case number. If you could email office@futurestrategy.co.uk with more information, I can look into this in more detail for you.
Some more general comments to address your points are as follows:
We are not authorised to instruct HMRC and we are very clear about that before our clients are onboarded. We do notify HMRC of a businesses intention to close (as part of our 6 step process) and advise our clients when a HMRC submission or contact becomes due. We monitor and record all post from HMRC as part of the service so its surprising that you would still be receiving this, perhaps you had not elected to update your address when offered. It's also possible that you had not followed our filing advice.
As mentioned above, if you could get in touch with us, we can look through your case and provide a breakdown of all the work that was undertaken by our team to ensure the successful closure of your company.
