Excellent order and delivery process
The order and delivery process was excellent. One of the sleepers arrived damaged but luckily that one was not necessary for the layout we had designed. The corner brackets are not as effective as the ones that appear in the online flims but do a reasonable job.

Very study beds. You do need an extra long drill bit (300mm) for assembly. Otherwise very simple to assemble.

Friendly, helpful & good quality products
The team at Garden Sleepers are very helpful and friendly. We initially bought two raised bed kits that were easy to assemble, and look great. We are so pleased with them that we have bought a third kit.

Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service - was told (by email) one working day before delivery that the company couldn't deliver due to access restrictions (road to narrow etc.) Despite my assurances that we have had very much bigger vehicles deliver and no such access problems zero response. Only option was a refund - the lack of any engagement clearly demonstrates a complete distain for their customers. Avoid.
In response to your reply:
The road is not suitable for huge HGV who may have take the route inadvertently - a simple walk down the road would have shown straightforward access to my property. The fact that they apparently tried to deliver but did not even have the courtesy of coming to the house (I waited in all day) is ridiculous. Again there is NO access problem and a call to me would have clarified this. The only contact I have had from the company is through this review - no reply to my emails /a call etc - I restate very poor customer service.

Thank you for your feedback - we're sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience.
We’d just like to clarify a few points for context.
At the time of ordering, our delivery information explains that deliveries are made using an 18T vehicle, and that customers on narrow lanes or restricted access roads should contact us in advance so we can check suitability. We also send a follow-up email after every order asking customers to get in touch if access may be an issue.
As we didn’t receive any communication regarding access, the order was dispatched as standard. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the courier identified vehicle restrictions on your road and, in line with safety and liability requirements, was unable to proceed with the delivery.
Your road actually has signage stating unsuitable for large vehicles.
We appreciate your comments about previous deliveries to your address from other companies; however, each courier must make their own professional assessment based on signage, access conditions, and safety guidelines on the day and we send through a pallet network with curtain-sided vehicles.
In this situation, we sent a full refund to you immediately upon cancelling your order due to the access restrictions.
We always aim to be as clear and proactive as possible with our delivery guidance, and we’re sorry this situation arose. However, we don’t feel this review fully reflects the information provided prior to dispatch or the steps taken on our side to avoid these scenarios.

Great product
Quick service. Great product just what we were looking for. Two small sleepers were missing and one slightly split but the customer service was excellent and they got the parts and replacement out within a couple of days.
