We were so impressed with Gecko Glazing from the start to the end of the process.

We had to wait a little while for our appointment with their surveyor, Nick. When he arrived, though, he was excellent. He was polite, and talked me through the whole Gecko process, including showing me samples of the frames.

Once we had our quote, the support team at Gecko were lovely. They responded to emails quickly and, whenever I needed advice, they gave clear responses. Similarly clear were their installation videos. I'm terrible at DIY, but I had no problem popping in the frames.

Gecko were also really accommodating when we asked to change our order a little bit. They gave us options for non-standard colours (which we didn't end up choosing), and splitting our order up to break up the cost. They were understanding when we ordered sample panes, and even honoured a discount that we might have otherwise missed out on because our sample panes took us under the threshold.

Also, in a period where it's too easy to buy cheap knock-offs on Amazon, we felt great about having a product made and supported in Scotland.

We're dead pleased with our Gecko panes and would recommend them for anyone that finds themselves freezing in their old, single-glazed homes!

We had Gecko install their glazing in my daughter's flat. The work was carried out efficiently with the installer pointing out that two of the panes had scratches. These were reordered and installed without much delay. There is an appreciable difference in the level of noise (quieter) and heat - now much warmer.

Really pleased with my gecko windows thus far. And a much more economical way of improving sash n case insulation.

Excellent communication and great customer service. Everyone I met or communicated with was helpful and pleasant. The product itself was fitted a few days ago and is very smart and impressive, exactly as I'd been led to expect. It took a while to get it done though so I would advise people not to wait until the winter, like I did!

Gecko were very easy to work with from the initial contact, to the on site measuring up for the glazing panels in our 1820s New Town flat in Edinburgh to the expert installation. The price was less than I was expecting having previously installed secondary glazing in a London house. Visitors have told us they notice a difference already in noise levels and draft reduction which is good to hear. Quieter and cosier is good! I recommend Gecko especially if you live in a period property.

First and foremost - the panes are amazing. Measured my 6 panes following the instructions they provide online and placed my order. Once arrived they were easy to install and have improved the room temperature. However, I placed my order on 18 November and only received them last week. Initally I received an email on 21 Novembw4 saying theyd been dealyed by about a week. I emailed on 4 December and was told its the busiest period but they were working as hard as they can. Called them on 14 January and was told my panes would arrive by Sunday. Sunday they hadnt arrived. I left a facebook comment and was told that they would be shipped soon. They arrived on 21 January. Although there was a rather long delay they were definitly worth the wait.

I have placed and received two orders with Gecko Glazing now, and both have been exceptional. I have an 1890s Victorian semi with original leaded single glazed panes at the top of each window - very beautiful, but dreadfully inefficient, and covered in condensation.

These gecko panes have solved the issues with both condensation and the cold panes overnight. They are also a fraction of the price of looking to get the original windows replaced - which I didn’t want to do anyway.

The panes fit seamlessly into the casements and unless you’re looking for them, they’re virtually undetectable.

I’m a huge fan of this product, and the company representatives - who I had to contact with queries during their busiest time of the year - couldn’t have helped more. 10/10 great experience; I would recommend them to anyone. Order three will come imminently I’d imagine. Thanks again.

Gecko panes have been a godsend in my original sash windows in my Edwardian home! Such a relief to not have to hoover the windows every morning! Great customer service from Gareth and team!

I'm generally not one for writing reviews for companies, but having stumbled accross Geko Glazing whilst in search of a clean, efficient, cost-effective means of insulating my sash windows in my flat, I thought I'd reach out to them and order some panels.

A top-class, innovative product with branding, operations, communications from staff all on point.

Down to earth, friendly communications from a knowledgeable team, help to put your mind at ease.

I had a few urgent requests, which were dealt with immediately and fuelled with passion in their response to my queries.

An incredible solution to an age old problem, executed with precision, and delivered with impeccable standards. What a product. How they haven't got more market exposure, I'm not sure... but they will once people start finding out more about them.

They secondary glazed 2 rooms in October 2025.
The service was professional and punctual. The product seems to work but yet to have a really cold spell to fully test them out. We had them installed by Dennis. He did a great job.

Very disappointing service from Gecko glazing. Took a month for them to send my order due to staff shortages.

When it eventually arrived, the first few days it appeared to work well but when it got colder the condensation re-appeared.

I contacted Gecko to get a refund as they claim that if you try one pane and it’s not for you/doesnt work they refund you but they do not have the courtesy to respond to the email let alone process the refund.

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I would avoid!!!

I was sceptical about this working but it has worked exceptionally well. Our upstairs toilet had a window with two single glazed panels and it would often be covered in condensation in the mornings and the room was draughty and cold. All these problems have been solved and it looks great! I am about to renovate a window on the landing and instead of replacing it and spending thousands of pounds I am going to use Gecko!!

I have a listed property with single glazed windows. I was looking at secondary glazing, vacuum glazing, and just getting brand new double glazed windows, all options were all too expensive. I was recommended gecko glazing as cheaper but just as thermally effective.

I’m really happy with the product. I was worried how it would look but it looks very smart. The room is noticeably warmer. The windows used to be cold to touch but now they feel the same temperature as the walls.

It took a couple of days altogether. It took one day to measure all the panes and put in the order (only four windows but about 30 little panes). Then once the order arrived, it took me a day to install them.

I like that you can open the windows still (which would be more difficult with secondary glazing) and they are straightforward to remove.

Happy with the service, price and product. Would highly recommend

Had Gecko panes installed in Glasgow about 2 months ago, I paid for Gecko to install the panes on my large sash and pane windows. They had a 20% sale at the time. Grade B building, so installing proper double glazing is difficult.

Company communication was very good, whenever I called they answered quickly and clearly. I felt that the price was fair for the job. The surveyor/installed was polite, knowledgeable and efficient.

The installed windows look great, top marks. From the outside you cannot tell they are installed, from the inside the gecko boarder is thin and barely viewable.

The pane itself is surprisingly thin - if you have a large window and you touch it in the centre it deflects. Not sure how this would work with kids. I would prefer that there was an option for an extra few mm or some central & thin internal supports between panes.

Apparently glass gleaner can cause hazing, ie only clean with soapy water. Bit of a concern that someone will try to clean at some point and damage pane, but can manage. Asked and apparently UV won’t cause hazing.

The seal seems good. Still to properly test in proper winter, but do believe it will help with heat loss. Unable to test the 50% claim, given the thickness gut says optimistic.

I was hoping for a noticeable noise reduction as claimed - but have not noticed any significant reduction, this is disappointing. Possibly owning to the size of my panes?

In summary, fair price, good company, decent although thin product. look great. Will help with heat loss. Don’t notice sound reduction. Overall recommend.

I tested these pains in one window the first year. They are so simple to install and stopped condensation which is a real problem in my house.
Now I have them in every window and many of my friends have done the same.
