Amazing course. Gem-A is the definitive source for everything gems ( as they have been around the longest) and this course was top tier. Its structured really well and I loved the specific gem section. I also appreciated how this is more scientific than most gem studies.

i am dealing with gemstones (buying and selling atPakistan) , but this course educated me very well . was very easy to understand and then Pass my exams online. Thank you so very much Gem A. By the way i completed the course in less then 36 hours , you dont need 6 months for it , was easy if you have real passion for gems

The content was good but there were three of us from my workplace signed up at the same time and two of us had trouble registering & starting the coursework. I learned and enjoyed the content after I switched from my laptop to ipad. Couldn’t view pop up boxes on laptop?! Have now gone to print certificate & when I hit print screen reverts to pass result. Changed device & same. Very annoying. Gave 3 star due to all technical problems- makes it a chore & less enjoyable!

I am passionate about gemstones and have always wanted to know more about them. This gemmology course was very informative and i really enjoyed it. I feel i have learnt a lot more about gemstones and gemmology.

Fantastic - perfect level of detail for someone who is really interested in the subject but also coming at it as a complete beginner. Loved it.

For me, this course was exactly what I needed and if I only knew about it I earlier I would have taken it sooner.
I was stuck whit the question of whether I should study gemmology or not.
Now there is no doubt anymore, just the fact that I really should study.
The course is so well made and perfect for anyone who is battling the same question as me.
About 2 weeks after completing the course I had signed up for the Foundation course provided through one of the accredited teaching centers starting this fall.

The course is worth taking in person. You will learn all about gems and how to observe gem material. The exam is intensive. Start studying right away for the exam, a week or two of review is not enough and there is a lot of information to remember and explain.

The GemINTRO course is one of the most interesting, inspiring and with very well concentrated information course. The way it's structured is very good and the variety of basic gemological information is perfectly presented in different ways that keep you interested all of the time. I was excited with every new topic and it inspired me to search for all kinds of information for every seed the course gave me. Thank you for the experience! I'm truly hoping that I will have the chance soon to continue with the Gemological foundation.

I took this course to see what it would be like to study gemmology as I was advised against it many years ago when I started working in the trade (I was told it was a very boring field of study). This is a great course! I found it fascinating and learnt so much. I thought I already had a pretty good knowledge of gems but even this introductory course has taught me a lot. I also love that the level 2 award certificate can be printed out straight after finishing the course. I would highly recommend this!

This course was very informative and fun! Not only was the material very interesting, but it was presented in a manner that was easy to digest. Lessons were long enough to provide a fundamental understanding of the topic, while at the same time, remaining relatively short, so that they may be fit into a daily routine without causing any stress. I found myself treating this course almost like a popular T.V. series, where I'd finish one section and tell myself "okay just one more section". The best part was that, "just one more section" didn't take too long and I found myself enjoying this course as a natural free time activity.

Before enrolling in the Gen-A online course, I believed that the online training on gemmology would be less conclusive, especially since the study of minerals requires actual presence in the laboratory or at school. However, by taking the entire course, it led me to completely change my mindset.
The training is very well designed, very well thought out and very informative. During the training, I felt certain fluidity in the progress of the latter. Indeed, the chapters follow one another in a logical sequence. The Quiz is very easy. Its objective is to allow the student to follow without difficulty from one chapter to another. This leaves me completely recommending this course to people who want to know more about the world of gems. I thank the entire Gem-A team who prepared this great training.

My experience with Gem-A was as expected challenging, even more than I had anticipated, but it was so educational and fun. Really a great introductory to the world of Gems. I feel I received a world of knowledge that I can make use of at this level. I am considering moving forward to the next step, just wish I lived in London! If you have the slightest interest, or are just curious in discovering this magical and mysterious world called Gemstones - take this course!

It was a simple, Interesting to understand step by step procedure through the course outline that made me want to know more..It was a very beneficial course for me and i would love to continue to the next level.

It was very enlightening, this course is an introduction to gemmology while being very comprehensive and rich of informations. The various speakers were very clear and you could feel their passion and experience through their explanations. It motivated me and made me want to continue studying at Gem-A but via distancing learning because I live in the French Riviera. I highly recommend it !

Gemintro has excellent topics and well explained with good pictures provide clearly understanding and the verbiage excellent for the beginners it worth to attend this course a new way to learn about gemstones and their sources .
