Información sobre la empresa
Escrito por la empresa
Katori is a titanium cutting board designed to give you a hygienic, durable, and easy-to-clean surface for everyday meal prep. Unlike wood or bamboo, which can absorb odors and trap moisture in knife grooves, and plastic, which scratches easily and can shed microplastics, Katori’s titanium surface is non-porous, so food residue, stains, and smells don’t sink in. The double-sided design lets you keep raw and cooked foods on separate sides, making it simpler to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Katori resists scratches, dents, and warping, stands up to heavy daily use, and is heat-resistant, so you can set hot pots and pans directly on it. It’s also BPA-free and non-toxic, with no plastics or coatings to leach into your food. Measuring 11.4 x 7.9 inches (29 x 20 cm), Katori is compact enough to fit in most kitchens and light enough to take camping or on outdoor trips. Cleaning is quick: wash it with warm water and mild soap after each use, then dry it immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, which can damage the surface. No oiling or special upkeep is needed.

Website easy to use
Website easy to use. Looking for an antibacterial cutting board that won't scratch that can be put in the dishwasher, or simply rinsed with mild soap. Also like that I was able to buy non slip grip pads to go underneath the boards to help with sliding on my granite countertops while using the cutting boards. Many state that it won't dull my sharp cutting knives. I hope this is true.

I have not received product yet, so cannot comment on quality.
I would be better if cost for warranty were explicit, not added without option of not buying.

get-katori.com… returns problem
I responded to a get-katori.com advertorial, thinking that it was a scientific article (from buzzpulse24 in the New York Times). I ordered 2 boards before discovering it was an advertorial containing dubious claims - for example, that the boards don't dull your knives, but in fact sharpen them - FALSE. I cancelled within 13 minutes of ordering. The company refused to cancel or refund, saying they had to deliver the boards but that I could then send them back for a "full refund". However, I discovered several reviews that indicated costs and problems with returns to this company. BE CAREFUL ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. It's not that the product is necessarily defective, it's their customer relations that's the problem. After several emails I finally got a promise of a refund, after sending a legalistic email to them, and raising a dispute with my card-issuing bank. Let's see how it goes...UPDATE: as the company has indeed offered a refund, I have accordingly updated my rating from 1 star to 3.
