Misleading guarantee, Defective and unsafe please do not purchase (honest review)
I purchased the Steam Genie Pro on sale for the $129 because the website clearly advertises a “90-Day Money Back Guarantee” and says you can try the product risk-free and return it if you’re not satisfied, “no questions asked.”
However, when I contacted customer support to return the product, I was told they only accept returns if the item is completely unopened and unused. That directly contradicts the guarantee advertised on their website. A “risk-free” trial is meaningless if customers are not allowed to open or test the product.
To make matters worse, the unit I received appears to be defective and unsafe. The extender handle does not screw on properly. Even when tightened, it blew off during use and burned my hand.
Shipping was also extremely slow, it took nearly a month to arrive from Georgia to Maryland and they only fixed the issue because I file a claim that this was a scam because service did not respond and I didn't receive order info for tracking. On this other issue about the return, customer service responses take about a week per email or doesn't respond at all.
Between the misleading guarantee, slow communication, and a potentially unsafe product, this has been a very disappointing experience. I strongly recommend to stay away from this company, misleading info online feels like a scam.
