Ross helped speed up the deliverability of the cookie script by 80% with caching rules, Alistair tuned the policies to accommodate for proper casing and so forth. Excellent platform and support! We also appreciate as an agency with clients that the investment is a lower price point than other similar platforms that white label licensing pages / generators. They keep on top of the rule changes and we get to be more profitable. It's a win-win.

We had a cookie and consent banner service we had been using for about a year. We got word at the end of 2024 that they were shutting down in January. That put my web design business in an awkward position because we had clients we had using the service under us.

GetTerms helped us out by not only matching the deal we had from the other service, but got us set up quickly and answered all of my questions for me.

GetTerms does what the others couldn't, and works perfectly. We've tried a ton of different cookie tools for WordPress, and when we set up GetTerms it was like a breath of fresh air. It worked perfectly, picked up all the cookies, and blocks what needs blocking.

As for the policies; they're well written, thoroughly detailed, and absolutely perfect for what we need.

Lots of changes always happing in the world of websites and I would rather be ahead of the curve than behind it. Privacy Policy, Cookie Consent, Terms and Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy and Google Ads has been making updates requiring cookie consent. Fill out some basic information, install the plugin if you don't want to add code for WordPress sites, add to your page and done.

Purchased a deal from Appsumo for GetTerms.
This was for a few low volume sites.

The GetTerms Cookie scanner could never discover the cookies our sites were using. Odd since their competition had no such issues.

After many conversations with their tech support and assurances that they were working on the issue, they even suggested we get a refund.

They come off as a scam.
Even the promotion with Appsumo has been erased.

UPDATE:
Let's be clear here.

When the product did not pick up site cookies as advertised (one of your main features), we did contact YOUR customer support.

Customer support told us that there was bug on YOUR end.

We were assured that YOU were working on it.

We waited many weeks for YOU to fix your bug.

The refund is not the issue - YOUR defective product is. And I could add the near non-existent customer support that seemed absent much of the time.

We are perfectly aware that you are a smaller business and we were very patient with your service - as CS wrote you had a fairly big influx from your promotion.

We were ready to work with you - after a few weeks, the cookie scan feature still did not work. We tried to work with you to resolve this.

Given the arrogance in your response, I wish we could leave a "no star" review.

This SaaS tool is legit. It's so easy to generate Policies for your business. No need to spend a ton of money on a lawyer fees.

I had to contact GetTerms' support team for the second time since I engaged with them. Both times, their helpfulness, reactivity and kindness amazed me.

Their services are stellar and saving me lots of time and money, but I'm so happy to have my back covered with such a stellar support team.

You answer a short questionnaire and in a couple of minutes, you'll have all the necessary legal pages in place, ready to embed on your website. I have tried various other tools before and I had never found an easier one, or another company I felt I could trust as I do with GetTerms. Really great job!
