Just an FYI — I attempted to get service from GigabyteNow. Despite receiving a written email confirmation that my installation would be completed today between 1–5 PM, I didn’t hear anything by mid-afternoon. I called for a status update since I had a 5 PM appointment, and was told that it’s a 1–5 PM window and that someone would contact the installation crew for an ETA. No one ever called back.

At 3:30 PM the crew finally arrived and said it would take about 1½ hours just to go from the street to the house, plus another hour to an hour and a half for a different technician to handle the modem setup. When I asked when that person was scheduled, they couldn’t say — apparently that’s a “different side” of the installation.

Wanting a GigabyteNow and not a GigabyteLater, I decided to look for a provider that delivers on what they commit to in writing

People need to understand that they are building the infrastructure as they go. This is fiber optics and they are going out of their way to make sure it is installed correctly and making sure the customer is happy. The speed and price can not be beat by any other company in the area. All I can say it is worth the wait. Besides the wait it has been the best experience I have ever had with any internet service provider or installer. The only complaint I seen so far is people getting frustrated from the wait, just remember good things are worth the wait.

It’s been 2 months since I’ve tried to get service from them and they refuse to give me an update, ignore most of my emails, and still no internet.
