Hi Glazing Store, I am generally happy with the experience of purchasing a Korniche Roof Lantern from you. The delivery occurred when you said it would and the sales process was great.
The only reason for 3 stars is that two of the profiles delivered had relatively minor dents in them which meant that I had to spend some time beating these out with a leather hammer before they could be used.
I didn't want to return these to you because of the inherent delay in remanufacture, but I did take photographs and would be happy to forward these if necessary.
Otherwise a good service that I would recommend to others.

Our roof lanterns are excellent quality and our builders reported very easy to instal
My only criticism is very poor customer service and diabolical delivery service.
I called prior to delivery to ensure they could be delivered through a front door as we have no rear access. No returned call from customer service. .
We were given a delivery date and it was stressed we HAD to be in to receive delivery.
Our 2 lanterns turned up one month early on the exact day but the previous month. By chance we were both home ( we work shifts).
The first delivery was of the fixings and the single driver happily passed every package to my husband to bring in to the house, not moving from the back of the lorry. The second delivery of the glass was equally poor. There was one grumpy driver who demanded that our ‘on site builders ‘ come out to help him.
I explained we didn’t have any workmen as the delivery was one month early so again my husband was expected to carry the glass inside with help only with the 4 larger panes.
Why send out deliveries with only one deliverer ?
I called glazing store to say we had taken delivery one month early and not one word of apology.
Excellent product but poor service.

Excellent service all round. Not only did they give me the best delivery date and their price was extremely competitive, communications were excellent
The delivery date was on the 28th the framework arrived at 10 o’clock that morning and the glass at 2 o’clock in the same afternoon. Exceptional service
The price was as described an excellent piece of engineering which was a joy to assemble.
Very grateful to Glazing store for making all this a trouble free experience.

A small and personal team, headed by Russel, that go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The website is very straightforward with clear choices of products listed and all the prices are very reasonable. We purchased both a korniche lantern and a set of bifold doors and the quality is supreme as anticipated. They obviously only deal in quality products. We hope not to have to embark on such a project again but if we do then we’d be in touch with them to fulfil all of our glazing needs. Thanks again to the team for their time and effort and all the look for the future of the business.

I ordered a Korniche Roof Lantern from the Glazing store. The price was great and they gave an estimated delivery date, which slipped a little once the order was confirmed, but was still better than I could get anywhere else.

I then had a nightmare with the actual delivery. It was delivered over 4 attempts and still missing a part, which was eventually declared lost and had to be remade. It was then lost again, found and finally delivered over 2 weeks late.

You may be wondering why a 5 Star Review. I've always measured businesses by how they deal with problems or complaints. Firstly Cory, on their customer service line was excellent. Calm, helpful and kept me well informed. What became apparent was that Korniche do not supply to customers, only through companies like the Glazing store, and Korniche use a rubbish courier called Tuffnells. The issue was escalated to Russell, one of Glazing Stores Directors who spoke to me regularly until the issue was finally resolved, despite how poor Korniche and Tuffnells were

I have made a payment worth 5200 GBP but after that time, I cannot reach the concerned sales person. Every time I call the company somebody says me that he will contact me in 24 hours.. It is 120 hours now, still waiting to be able to get an information about my order. No way...!
Edit: Also, I did not receive the documents to my email I put on the order as stated in the response.. The reply from the company is not very accurate. Anyway... After sending the survey document for 4 times, they finally managed to get the order with right specs. Now I will wait for 4 weeks and see the result.

I needed a very low U value of 1.4u on overall Glass and frame , 2 previously couldnt produce what I needed. Handled me very well and would definitely recommend as the quality and value is class for a very good price , many thanks Jon.

Gave me a delivery date that they kept to, glass arrived first, followed less than half an hour later by the frame and fittings. Frame very well packaged and protected against damage.

Good phone service, made a purchase online, order damaged resolved with out any drama, would use again 👍🏻

The Glazing Store were very reasonably priced and delivery was in the timescales promised. I didn't think you needed any more than that. However I shattered one of the sealed glazing units moving it in the garage, completely my own fault and that sick feeling wouldn't go away. That is till I contacted the Glazing Store again and asked if there was a way to purchase a new unit. They've supplied a new unit at cost price. Wonderful service. Thanks you've saved my bacon!

Very helpful, good response time to questions and delivered on the day they said it would be. glass is delivered either the same day, day before or day after so keep this in mind for when you have them installed.
All in all very happy and would recommend.

I have never known a company to be so dishonest in what they do. Glass arrived for our lantern but not the frame. After many many calls to the main desk (who cannot offer any help) we are still waiting for someone to get back to us even though the request is noted as “urgent”. They do not have a clue where the lantern frame is and are not willing to communicate that. I would not recommend this company in any way. Utterly useless, unprofessional and incompetent.

If I could rate this company zero, I would.

First they attempted to deliver me scratched glass for my roof lantern (1.5x3 metres) which I returned. The return process was a total faff. I was not helped at all by Glazing Store, I had to contact the manufacturer myself.

Then they returned the glass with NO warning of impending delivery and we were stuck trying to unload it with nowhere to put it.

7 months later, after much horrific weather, we have finally got the lantern on the roof. Sadly, we have discovered that the piece of glass they replaced is not BLUE like the rest of the panels, which I PAID EXTRA FOR. But it is my fault, because I should have checked it within 48 hours.

But not to worry, they are willing to quote me for a new piece of blue glass which I have already paid for!!

They screwed up my order and made errors TWICE but are willing to let me PAY THEM AGAIN for more glass.... which I already paid extra for in the first place... 😂😂🙈🙈

BEWARE of this company. Dishonest, disingenuous and their attention to their customers / orders I would expect better from my 9 year old!

I have since contacted a different company to replace the glass. I would rather go to someone else than give this horrendous company another penny.

Absolutely great delivered on time driver rang me to tell me what time he would be there and he sure was great service

From start to finish Glazing Store were excellent. Kristie was knowledgable and very patient, it was great that she had first hand experience of her own roof lantern, she gave some great advice about the sizing.
The delivery was also brilliant, the driver was a specialist in delivering roof lanterns and set it down on secure packaging in our hall, no scratches on the floor. We knew within a week of placing the order what date it would be delivered, which allowed us to firmly book our roofer & joiner. The Joiner had fitted Korniche before and was pleased we had chosen that brand as he considered it superior to others. We are really pleased with the roof lantern, it’s great to see blue skies or stars above the kitchen table ✨ I will use Glazing store again for new grey sliding doors and matching window. Thank you to all involved, a job well done.

Communication has been terrible, failed to email me from the start to confirm i had to say the size i ordered was good. You would think the size i picked from the website was good enough. So after querying my delivery time after 3 weeks was then informed i never returned the form, well if i had seen it i would have. Funny it was emailed out that day and surprise it arrived in my imbox ok so obviously a fault from their end from the start, was told someone was trying to ring me and what a load of crap that was too.

So just sitting at home now and my neighbour calls to say he took some parcels in for me. I could not belive it was the roof lantern (without glass) delivered to my home address where it should have been to site address. Its quite obvious this company is well out of there depth trying to sell roof lanterns as they cannot organize the correct set up. One company i will be avoiding in the future even if they are cheaper, better off paying a little more for a better service.

Glazing store were very helpful from start to finish of order and sent detailed drawings of lantern so you can double check the sizes. Delivered on the day they said. Would recommend them to others and would use again.

I can highly recommend glazingstore.co.uk. I purchased a korniche roof lantern and the process was fantastic form start to finish.
Russell and the team were great at giving me technical and design advice to make sure I chose the most appropriate product for my extension; balancing , light, design, warmth and heat reflection for the summer. Russ provided guidance on how to accurately measure the lantern roof lantern to ensure it fitted the opening my builder had left in the flat roof.
Their pricing was by far the best I found after hours of internet searching and delivery was quick and efficient. The product came very well packaged and in perfect condition.
