Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise NOT to use this company for any electrical repairs.
The issue I reported was that one of five rings on my induction cooker had stopped working.
For me, it all started wrongly when they failed to attend the agreed appointment even though they had chosen the date and time. My repair was booked between 8am and 5pm, even though their website states that they offer morning or afternoon slots. To be honest, that should have been a sign not to proceed with this company, because if they couldn't plan their work and advise at least AM or PM appointment time, I should have asked what kind of company they are.
So they phoned me after 2:30pm on the day to tell me that they couldn't make it which is ridiculous because I had to take a day of from work for nothing.
On the second appointment date, their employee, after lifting the cooker hob and without using any tools or testing equipment, decided that the main PCB board was faulty. After completing his visual inspection, he quoted me £1052 for the part. After questioning his diagnostic and showing him that a quick internet search is provided the same part for £617, his response is that he is 100% sure that the board is faulty and that I'm welcome to purchase the board myself, and they will under their "guarantee" come back to fit it. Again, the second mistake by me. Trusting people even if they do not know what they are talking about. Firstly, the Glotech "guarantee" hardly covers anything and definitely does not cover expensive parts like a PCB boards, so there is not a justification for over £400 mark-up. Secondly, you will have to pay for every visit they make.
After purchasing the board myself, the same person (I can't call him engineer or technician) turned up to fit it. He has managed to screw half a dozen screws back and connect the board but his "expertise" has now left me without ANY rings working. The new part had to be configured to the cooker and a simple Google search does not provide you with that information. The Glotech employee simply was not qualified for the job and no one in his office or internet search could help him with how to configure a new part.
After trying to blame me for purchasing a faulty new part and saying that I possibly needed an additional part, which he quoted £49.99 (actual cost online is £4.99 so 1000% mark up) Glotech employee left me without a working cooker with the promise that his office would call me and advise when someone will come to solve the problem.
Obviously, his office did not call me. And after chasing them and paying another call out charge, they agreed to send someone to check the issue.
It turned out that Glotech could not fix the problem themselves because their employees lack of knowledge, and I was told by the electrician that they had to hire him ,an independent electrician who had managed to configure the board in 20 seconds.
After all the hustle, Glotech has acknowledged that their employee could not fix the problem, and they have apologized for the "inconvenience caused."
Like I said at the beginning, I would advise you NOT to use Glotech and if you can search for a local qualified engineer who will most likely fix the issue quicker and at much lower cost.

Avoid this company unless you want to spend all your time on the phone chasing them for answers, multiple call outs with different engineers providing conflicting advice, ordering incorrect parts and the process taking 7 months to complete to a mediocre conclusion.
The initial call out was good and a decent engineer came to advise on a faulty oven. Staff on the phone are certainly pleasant but that is the extent of it.
They claim to be experts in Kupperbusch ovens but are not. Over the last few months, I have had to chase them every step of the way to find out what is going on. Any promise to contact you back is guaranteed to not be fulfilled. Engineers will be booked and not turn up. Parts ordered will be inaccessible to another engineer and work delayed. If you wish to speak to a senior, they will always be on "another call" or "meeting" and you will never get through.
There is no complaints procedure, which in truth would be completely unnecessary if someone just told you what was going on, or there was some sense of reliability or responsibility.
Sadly, I would recommend in the strongest terms this company is not used-you will be driven mad and unlikely to get the problem fully resolved.
