I’ve had a frustrating experience with Godzilla.com that I feel others should be aware of. The recently released 1964 Bandai Movie Monster Series King Ghidorah figure did not match what was advertised—specifically, the wings and heads were shown as articulated in product photos, but the version I received had no such articulation. That’s a pretty significant discrepancy for collectors who rely on accurate representations.

On top of that, pre-orders tend to arrive much later than the timelines originally given, which makes planning purchases difficult and erodes trust.

What’s most concerning, though, is that the site appears to curate its reviews. Low-rated or critical feedback doesn’t seem to get approved or displayed, which creates a misleading impression of customer satisfaction.

Between inaccurate product listings, delayed fulfillment, and questionable review practices, I can’t recommend purchasing from this site.

The official Godzilla store is OK to deal with if the product is actually in stock. The problem is that the majority of the items they sell are pre-orders. So far every item I have purchased as a pre-order has never shipped by the promised date, and usually the irems are delayed several additional months. Forget about buying gifts if you need them by a certain time.

Also note that size measurements for clothing are often inaccurate. If the item you receive is not the right size, you can return it for free, but note that they don’t exchange clothing items, which means you’ll have to place a second order and pay for shipping twice, even though the incorrect measurements are clearly their fault.

If you can find the same irem from another seller, I recommend using them instead as there are too many hassles when dealing with Godzilla.com
