I submitted several different applications for a price to recycle my iPhone and GGG initially offered me £300+ which was slightly above competitors. They were very proactive in chasing my response and sent numerous chasers until I sent off my phone. Within a day or two they dropped their price to almost a third of original offer stating that the phone had scratched and marked body etc. I challenged the response pointing out that the phone had been covered by a case and screen protector since day one! They then increased their offer and I declined telling them to return the phone which resulted in a “Manager’s Special” offer which was still £70+ below the original price offered. I agreed the deal and then waited well over a week for any update before getting my money. Overall they appear to be one to avoid, but if you do use them don’t accept their lower offers after posting off your phone!

If i could give 0 stars i would…avoid at all costs… tell you they’d give you a higher amount but give you a lot less, they lie about the condition of your phone. Mine was at 86% battery health but they lowered the price by £150 because apparently it had over 500 charge cycles. Good condition says over 83% battery health and they say nothing about charge cycles on their estimate. They say same day payment but im still waiting since the 24th September and still nothing. Threatened with small court claims and they soon replied. But still no money.

Easy instructions great costumer service friendly

Very easy service to use and quick, disappointed in the price being dropped over 50% when they recieved it but took it to save the hassle.

I sent my iPhone 13 in on the basis of a potential trade in of £170. It arrived at GGG and within 24hours they had returned an offer of just £10. I immediately asked them to return my phone. They then went through the process of increasing this offer to £20, then £70 and finally £100. This whole process felt very uncomfortable and not a nice experience. It has now been over a week since they finally got around to agreeing to return it and at this point I have still not received my phone back. It all feels very off and I am concerned that a) I do actually get it returned and b) it is in the state that it was sent. They do not answer phone calls and the emails only consist of information they wish to give to you. A truely dreadful experience.

AVOID!! I’m really disappointed and feel misled by GoGreenGadgets. They valued some of my devices at hundreds of pounds each, but once they get hands on them, the offers plummets, in one case my item went from around £500 to just over 50 pounds. I understand wear and tear, and a business needs to make money, but this scale of reduction feels unfair and misleading.

I’m going to give an honest review here first off I did 2 separate orders, sent 1 device in 1 package and 3 in another package they received all 4 phones on the 18/8/2026, I got paid out on 2 devices on the 25th,26th of August so I emailed about the other 2 devices several times and felt like I waited too long for this to be resolved, it takes days for a reply and when you do get one it’s a generic reply, I didn’t find them very helpful at all. But I’ve just checked my email and I’ve had a offer for the other two devices which I received on the 29th of September, I feel this could have been resolved a lot quicker, just glad it’s finally resolved.

Really straightforward process, no hassles at all, easy to post and quick payment.

Really poor. They quoted me £570+10 pounds if I sent it on the day they requested, which I did. They bothered me every day to send the phone, which seemed a bit strange that they had that much spare time. The phone was immaculate, an iPhone 16 Pro in near perfect condition, no marks, scuffs or scratches. battery health was 89%. Despite this, when they received it, they sent me an offer for £400 because the battery had done 500 cycles, which is very normal for a phone that’s two years old. Batteries aren’t considered degraded until 80% and beyond, so this is barbaric. They then wasted three days bartering with me as to how much I’d be willing to accept. They even gave me a scale with a slider on an online page that I could choose what price l would accept for the sale but the slider only went up to 460! I declined and asked them to send it back, then the following day they offered 455, which was even lower than their previous offer! I declined and asked them once more to send it back, they then finally said they would send it back but that it would take 72 hours! When it eventually arrived the following week, my other offers for trading had expired except for one so they messed me around and I lost money as a result. To top it all off, they sent the phone back in a single layer of bubble wrap without case and not in a box, but in a padded envelope which seemed careless for my liking for something that’s supposedly worth £580. All in all, a terrible experience and would not recommend!

I then traded it in with tech tiger instead who gave me £505 within an hour of them receiving it. Crazy the difference

This has been a dreadful experience.

I was offered £680 for my IPhone 17 pro but when they received it they only offered £500. Not acceptable as Apple had offered £635 the previous day! Interestingly they said that the case was marked -interesting because Apple said it was perfect and the video I took before posting proves that.
Eventually the price went up to £615 which I accepted just to be done with it. I received an email from them explaining that I would receive an email after 5pm about payment. 14 hours past the deadline and I am still waiting.
I am so unimpressed that I have prepared a file of correspondence and screen shots to send to Trading Standards and the Police.
Finally, I have been advised by my solicitor that, if payment is not made, I should go after a CCJ against them.

It’s been over a week now still have not received my money for the phone I sent in good faith be careful with this company (be warned)

Great service, didn’t think my phone was worth anything but turns out it was and a great bit of communication when my phone was received, payment was in my bank quickly aswell

This experience was very straightforward and easy to complete. Everything was simple to understand with a great price offered for unwanted tech.
Communication with the company were prompt and exactly what I needed.

Recently used gogreengadgets to sell my daughters old phone. Quick easy and fast. Great communication and whenever I need to sell any other device I will be going back to gogreengadgets. Thanks guys
