Good service if you want decent money for old broken phones

The estimated pricing of mobiles was more realistic than others. No inflated pricing to get customers in.
The process was very simple from start to finish and quick pay out.
That said the pricing is a little on the low side but you have to weigh this up with the hassle you get from other companies who have inflated prices to get your phone.

Very easy all round! Got the quote, sent off my device and got the payment very quickly (much quicker than another company I previously used). The actual payment was lower than the original quote but they clearly explained why and I was satisfied with this. Thank you GoGreenGadgets!

Everything was wasy

It was so easy, just send your phone and they send you a price. Just accept the price then with in a week you get the money. The customer service is great to.

A very easy process. Quote given straight away. Notified as soon as my phone was received and then again once it had been tested. My price was reduced but to be honest I did expect that as my device was a much older model. As soon as I accepted the offer the money was in my account within 3 working days.

Unfortunately, like many recent reviews, they suck you in with a strong valuation and then offer you something completely different (£650 down to £240). My iphone 16 pro max is better than “good”. Which is the price they were offering for “good”. They're the phonr version of we buy any car. To insult me further after rejecting the offer and back and forth on email. They miraculously more than doubled their offer (still significantly less than apple direct). Stay clear. They’ll try and low ball you in hope you accept it. To come back and insult you further. Ps, even the shipping label provided by them is on the cheap (insured upto £75). Which i had to pay £12 to upgrade to cover upto £750. Stay clear. Extremely poor business morals and false advertisement.

Avoid!! I went online and got a quote for £570 for my iPhone 16 pro after seeing an advert. I sent it off with no issues. When they received the phone they quoted me £150!!! Saying it was downgraded to faulty which was completely untrue.

When I went back I said I took photos and videos of the phone before it was shipped and whilst packing it. I replied stating this and they then jumped the ‘final price’ to £285, I went back again saying no, and they then offered £425, I still said no and they then phoned me saying it was an error and the most they would give was £450 which I eventually accepted as I was incredibly nervous for the phone to be returned.

I was horrified that they tried to claim my phone was faulty and only pay about 1/4 of the online price.

I even said if it was an error or you sent by mistake be transparent as I could understand and appreciate they were busy.

The only reason it is a 2 is the fact they did call, explain and paid within the hour.

I will definitely be sticking to Mazuma again in future.

With the advent of Apple’s September event, this time of year is like Christmas to all these companies purporting to offer you the ‘best price’ for your iPhones and tech gadgets but unfortunately, I, like many others fell for this website’s inflated quotes and dubious feedback reviews.
I received an offer of £650 for my iPhone 16 Pro Max 512gb (2024) which has been kept in a wallet case with a screen protector since I purchased it and I even included a brand new Apple charger and sent it off via Royal Mail with added compensation to the value I was quoted.
I have meticulously looked after it since day one and in addition to it looking almost new, I have never had any issues with it whatsoever.
Today, I received an email from them stating that their “….testing team found” an “earpiece speaker fault - distorted or muffled audio when held to the ear during calls” and due to this our “offer for this device is £505” which included a £5 thank you bonus! That’s a £145 reduction due to a mystical fault that they have apparently found and almost 25% of the initial quote completely wiped out!
I am now left with a quandary! If I decline the offer and ask them to return my handset I could be waiting a number of days for its return plus being almost £10 down due to me having to purchase additional cover to £650 - as their Tracked 24 service only covers items up to £75 - and I am now VERY dubious that my iPhone is not returned to me in the same condition in which it was sent. And if I accept their insulting offer, I am allowing a company to take me for a fool!
I find it absolutely incredulous that a handset that had been used for two years and that had no external or internal damage or issues whatsoever, has now somehow managed to inherit and develop an issue with the speaker, SINCE its introduction to their “testing team.” There was absolutely no defect to this iPhone and if there was muffled audio present, I would suggest that this was nothing to do with the speaker and everything to do with the reception in their rented office space!
I would vehemently suggest and recommend that ANYBODY looking to sell their device to this company does not believe for a single second their over inflated quote and to not get too carried away with the hype from other customers as to how good they are. They really aren’t.
It’s kind of like the old car sales trick. Offer you an attractive high price for your part ex to reel you in to the showroom and then lower it instantly when their ‘mechanics’ get their grubby little paws on it.
In my experience, all of these recycling and self purported green companies looking to cash in on your older devices are nothing more than snake oil salesmen and if the quote seems too good to be true, then please believe yourself. It probably is!
This is not a vindictive snipe at GoGreenGadgets but more of a warning to any unsuspecting, honest people out there looking to get a realistic and fair price for their pre-loved handsets.
Sell to a relative, friend, colleague or even FB Marketplace but avoid these chancers at all costs!

Very disapointing the lack of communication
In this company not even replying to my emails

Sent a iphone 14 pro 3 weeks ago and still saying they havnt recieved my device which i think is a lie so they have lost my device and refusing to give me anything back absolute joke.

Avoid at all cost

I have mixed feelings about this company. My phone arrived with them on the 7th of September. I got paid on the 21st. It’s far from what they advertise. The value they gave me for my phone after assessment was initially lower than I anticipated, I said I wasn’t happy with the offer, and they gave me an increase which was good.

I also had sent them a few emails after I had read some worrying comments/reviews. They weren’t great with the communication, sending me pillar to post, but in the end were communicative about payment dates.

Ultimately, they gave me a higher price than most of the other sites quoted.

I would use them again if I wasn’t in a rush for payment. But the promise in their FAQ’s states “we process the payment the same day we receive your device… at most the payment takes 5 days” - so this does become anxiety inducing that they’re going to take your device and run when it takes two weeks for payment.

If they updated their terms/FAQ’s and say “we offer a higher price for your phone than other providers, but typically take a little longer for payment” is the honest trade off and would probably avoid the negative reviews.

Seen an advert on instagram by an influencer and thought I would give it a try. Hassle free, quick and easy to do. Free postage using a qr code. Had the money in my bank within a few days after they received it.
