Germany and Krakow for group of 4- Outstanding Vacation
We are the other couple from this group of four and everything that was written in the previous review backs up exactly how we felt about all aspects of the support received from Go Real. We discovered places we probably wouldn't have explored ie. Spreewald.
Also we were not used to public transit in Europe and found the detailed instructions re which tickets to buy, where to buy, how to purchase were invaluable. At the end of each day over dinner we delightfully chatted about how smooth the trip was going. Highly recommend using Go Real and for future trips. Thank you Clay and Grace.

Recently, we booked a "dream Vacation" with GO REAL TRAVEL. While it was quite expensive, it would have been worth it had we been furnished with what we were promised. We traveled across Austria and Switzerland. We were to be supplied with an Itinerary, Hotel reservations and transportation passes, tickets and private tour guides.
Before we even embarked on our journey we noticed discrepancies after carefully examining the itinerary provided by GO REAL TRAVEL. We were missing tickets and much of the information did not make sense. When we tried to inquire as to our findings with GO REAL TRAVEL, we found it near impossible to communicate with them. When we were finally able to get some semblance of a response from them, we felt as if we were shuffled around and placated in order to pacify us and our concerns. Finally, we were told that all missing information and items such as travel tickets and maps were going to be forwarded to our first hotel. We were left having to hope that said items would appear in an unfamiliar country. While, there were some items waiting for us, not all of our missing pieces were there.
At this point we just improvised changing much of their itinerary to suit our needs and almost completely reinventing our own itinerary. Thankfully, we managed to salvage our "Dream Vacation".
Once we arrived back home we tried to no avail to address GO REAL TRAVEL, yet again, we were placated and still have no satisfaction or reciprocation of funds.

Germany and Krakow for group of 4- Fantastic Vacation
This is the way to go if you want all logistics managed and feel like you’re traveling independently. On a tour without the bus! Perfect Solution.
Trip for 2 couples traveling through 5 cities in Germany and Poland.
Hotels- all excellent, perfectly located to access sites and transportation
Breakfasts- all excellent sustained us til dinner
Transportation- all excellent - trains, local transit and shuttles
Tours - excellent all private- amazing not following someone with a stick and scarf and 30 people
Itinerary- excellent- we used the daily print outs so everyone could read instructions and suggestions and discuss as a group what we would do .
Clay and Grace were excellent in helping us prepare. The website is perfect for starting with an idea of locations and with the help of Clay and Grace fine tune as you nail down the final itinerary.
I would absolutely recommend Go Real to anyone and hope to plan future trips with Go real.

Would not recommend this company. We booked a trip with GO Real starting in Vienna and ending in Zurich, 15 days with stays in Salzburg, Lucerne and Interlaken in between. The reason for the low rating started before our trip began and the failure of any communication and response back to my phone call messages and emails while we were traveling. Our itinerary was incomplete after I paid the full balance because we were missing train tickets and maps. Go Real promised to have delivered to our first hotel, tickets were there but no needed maps. The train tickets were terrible having us traveling at night through unfamiliar stations and missing out on beautiful, Austrian and Swiss sceenery. They were not available to fix or adjust for us, we were out of pocket over $400 euros to fix. After being home now for over a week, they still refuse to respond. On a positive note all the hotels were what we requested, very nice and helpful staffs, all 4 star. Getting breakfast every morning was fantastic although for some reason, not included at the last hotel in Zurich, another $170 out of pocket. The tour guides who were booked was fantastic but should have been at all sites, not just 2. Again we believed this would be included but no response back from Go Real. Please do not apologize, this does not help after the fact. We depended on Go Real and were let down. There were several inaccuracies regarding travel directions in our itinerary, route numbers and more. We remained flexible and open to changes knowing things, names and places do change especially with ongoing construction projects and more. We found that the itinerary was not that useful or a good value considering the amount of $ paid. Better, any communication would have really helped us during our trip. Do yourself a favor and choose another company for your travel needs.

I would definitely use Go Real Travel again, our itinerary included transportation, rooms and tours. All transportation was timely and details well described in our itinerary. Rooms were all within walking distance of the sights we wanted to see and very comfortable. Tours were one on one and very informative. We had a couple of very small glitches and they were handled in a very timely manner. We were very pleased with this service!

We had a fantastic experience with using GoRealEurope for our honeymoon. Brendan was super helpful in our months of planning, and the guides they connected us with were superb!

Our trip was a complete success, which begins with Tom Kirby and how well things were planned out. We traveled to 5 countries and every driver, tour guide, train, and boat were exactly as advertised. We seek comfortable rooms without the need for opulence and Go Real had what we sought. The locations of the hotels worked out well as they were centrally located and we could walk out the front door and be directly in the action.
The only glitch was the need to substitute a bus for a train when the tracks were under repair. We got a bit lost, called the hotline and made the bus to Munich. On the spot assistance was directly available even though it was early morning.
Go Real Travel made our travel a great experience. Drivers, guides, directions, arrangements all worked. We would highly recommend this service.

I recently returned from a trip to Germany and the Czech Republic. Go Real Travel booked my hotels and several private tours along the way. I was very happy with the hotels, both their locations and their comfort. The guides for all of my private tours were knowledgeable, easy to understand and open to questions. When I needed to make changes to my trip or when I had questions, the staff at Go Real Travel was available. I was concerned about booking a trip through an online company but because of prior Trust Pilot reviews I decided to go ahead with it. I would definitely book tours with them in the future if they had my destinations available.

There are so many things to write in this review, it is difficult to know where to start.
Firstly, I think the Go Real Travel website is amazing and the personal support that was also provided to help me make my plans was exceptional. Even though I live in a very different time zone from the Go Real Travel staff, the contact I had in order to make my plans was prompt and reliable.
My holiday was fantastic! Every detail was planned to perfection and every transfer and service was on time. My drivers and the guides for walking tours all spoke good English and were interesting and helpful. The hotels were well placed, very good value and the staff were also very friendly and professional. The instructions provided were very helpful, well presented in a booklet - and I really liked the fact that I had so much flexibility in what I could do. Public transport tickets, maps and the instructions provided made me an instant ‘expert’ in finding my way around new cities.
I travelled on my own, which is a new experience for me, but I loved every second of my holiday. I felt very supported by the process and everyone I had contact with. My thanks to Tom and Rosemary for taking care of every detail.

I am writing this review to help people like me who are apprehensive about dealing with an online company. Go Real Europe is completely legitimate. We had a wonderful trip with no problems. The hotels were terrific in great locations. The tours we signed up for were very good. We travelled on our terms but the directions and pre-purchased tickets made it stress free. My only advice is we should have paid more attention in the initial planning as we discovered we only wanted to do about 80% of the itinerary. But we easily found other things to do in their place. Highly recommend this company. We will be using it for our next trip to Europe

My husband and I just spent 3 weeks In Poland and Slovakia. We wanted a customized trip to do it. And we had the perfect one planned by Myles Rieger at « Go Real Travel ». He looked at every details so that it fits our requests and needs. Our itinerary was well balanced between organized/accompanied tours/activities and free time to visit by ourselves. The 145 pages info document that we received by internet 3 weeks before our trip was a great help!

Drivers for transfers were on time and very cautious. Hotels were well chosen, located very centrally.

Guides were very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant company. We learned a lot about these 2 countries and their people. The guides made us appreciate and love their country. Simona in Bratislava, Anita in Krakow, Arek in Worclaw, Agnieszka and Piotr (Peter) in Warsaw were very generous with their time and the information they gave us was so pertinent...very interesting guided tours. Anita reserved in advance the entrance at Schindler Museum in Krakow so that we avoid waiting in line.

We greatly recommend « Go Real Travel » and we would use them again if we travel where they provide services.

This company did an absolutely wonderful job planning our trip to Prague, Vienna and Budapest! My husband and I typically plan our own trips, but for this trip we were travelling with a relative that has limited mobility. We had at least one guided tour in each city and the tour included just the four of us, so we could go at whatever pace was comfortable for all involved. All of the guides were SPECTACULAR...personable, professional and very knowledgeable! The hotels were fantastic and in great locations. GoRealEurope's explanations about public transportation made it easy to get around all three of the cities and it was practically impossible to get lost, using their detailed guides. We had some issues with the contracted transportation companies. On our last day (Friday) we did not get to the airport in time and missed our flight home. GoRealEurope sent an employee to the airport to help us with the process of re-booking a flight home (Monday). That left us stranded in Prague for the weekend. GoRealEurope booked hotel rooms for the weekend, at their expense. They offered to reimburse us for meals and sent us a refund to cover the additional airline ticket purchases. WOW...can you get any better customer service than that? I have already been spreading the word to other people and will definitely use them again in the future!

Had a good experience using this service. We worked with two travel consultants and the second one, Anna was very responsive to questions/concerns. The trip involved Berlin, Prague Nuremberg and Munich. All was organized very nicely and ran smoothly.The hotels were located quite nicely always close to public transit. The only concern we had was one of the suggested places in Prague had been closed for a year( outdoor beer garden) and we spent at least an hour walking to get there. Also breakfast was not included for all parties in all the places. This seemed to be dependent on who they booked the hotel through. Other than that all was good! Would recommend this travel service.

Go Real Travel set up the perfect trip for us and provided us with a detailed guide for every day of our trip. The guide provided directions for travel and daily excursions that provided such phrases as "with your back to the cathedral, walk to the right and take the second street to the left". We could not get lost. They also responded quickly to email questions and made immediate changes to our itinerary as requested. For example, just days before our trip, we decided that would like to see Vatican City in Rome, and within a few hours, Anna sent us an updated itinerary with those changes. We highly recommend Go Real Travel.

We would recommend this group 100%. Every one of our hotels was centrally located, as requested; and came with breakfast as requested. We are older and cannot keep up with most tour groups. Using gorealtravel.com allowed us to have a private half day walking tour in each location we visited. The guides were all outstanding, personable and knowledgeable. They accommodated our needs and walked at a pace we could keep up with. Most enjoyable. Our package included tickets for all the public transportation systems in each city and we had leftover tickets from each city. We also had private transport from each airport or train station to our hotel with return included. All the drivers were outstanding and helpful. Additionally, the company booked first class train tickets for us between two different cities and that was a fun way to travel. They booked every venue we requested and told us when it would be cheaper for us to book our tickets.
We saved money using this company; but, more importantly, we were able to enjoy our trip and the venues we visited without being rushed.
We did have one minor problem connecting with our driver at the Vienna train station so I called the emergency number gorealtravel.com had provided. My call was answered immediately and we were connected with our driver within 5 minutes. It was really nice to find out the help was there as promised.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. DO NOT waste your money with this group. They do not listen to what your requests are. They do not let you know your costs, its all in a lump sum. It is always bait and switch, and then tell you “it’s too late it’s already booked”. Thinking I am getting a 5 star hotel, then switched to another hotel, no where near the original hotel location where I was expecting to be and then get into a 2 star hotel. This happened in 2 cities. Then being way over charged for the 2 star hotel because they charge the 5 star price with no reimbursement. The private tours that you pay for are charged at private rate but then you are with 50 other people.
Be very wary, you would be better off doing this all on your own. You also have to manage trips because the times on your agenda change the day before you are scheduled to go so if you plan anything else then you are screwed.

we enjoyed a 2 week trip to europe that included the cities of prague, vienna, and budapest. we don’t like to travel on a tour because there isn’t a lot of flexibility. i decided to hook up with go real travel. we could design our trip according to how many days we wanted to spend in each city. we were given a list of hotels for each city. they were very good. we chose each one according to our preferences. we upgraded to first class train tickets. they made all the arrangements. gave us more than enough transportation tickets for each city. we were also given a print out of every city’s things to do with detailed directions. it was easy for us to flip flop some excursions to other days or times. they provided personal tour guides for each city that were very knowledgable and a pleasure to spend time with. all in all it was a wonderful trip and we were glad that we chose go real travel. myles rieger was my main contact throughout the process. he provided the best customer service. joan mawby, cleveland, ohio

My husband and I had a fabulous trip to Naples, Sorrento and Venice
GRE guides were amazing. Prompt, knowledgable, friendly, fun to be with..Our driver was on time and very nice in Naples. Our hotel rooms were awesome in every city. The hotel locations are strategically located to aid you in maneuvering through the cities...I suggest booking only superior rooms..we had a major glitch in Venice but Grace immediately solved our reservation issues and we ended up having a wonderful time there. The attention to detail with instructions was amazing. Very helpful as we journeyed through many cities. We will definitely use GRE again..

The trip was better than we anticipated! The tour guides and drivers were wonderful and knew just how to navigate us so we avoided crowds. The hotels were very nice and well situated! Everything seemed to run like clockwork, yet the trip was flexible and relaxed. When we got home, my husband was ready for the next trip with Go Real Travel! Thank you for making this Anniversary celebration perfectly memorable!

My husband, myself and two close girlfriends of mine just completed our second trip to Europe with GoRealTravel - moving slightly more east to take in Croatia (Dubrovnik and Split), Hungary (Budapest), Poland (Krakow and Warsaw) and then a swing back to Amsterdam.
Everything planned for us in terms of travel, pickups, guided walks and hotels was excellent, as it was on our previous trip.
The information about, and suggestions of, places to visit and things to do and see was also excellent and really helpful in terms of routes and transport.
All our accommodation was great. One place even had a lovely swimming pool to use, another a spa, pool and sauna we could access. If a hotel wasn't in the immediate downtown or old city area, it was on an easily accessible public transport route with clear instructions for train or bus use plus, in 3 cities, the actual tickets needed. It was in fact nice sometimes to leave the 'touristy' main areas and escape back to our peaceful hotel after a crowded day.
Everything ran like clockwork in terms of what had been organised by GRT for us. It really is the perfect way of travelling in a mostly independent way but with all the hassle of booking accommodation and travel, tours etc taken away. We look forward to our next trip with the company.
