Speaking with Adam over the telephone made it a stress free experience researching and ultimately booking our vacation with Go Rail Travel for June 2027.
Most helpful was the information video he prepared detailing the trip and seeing, actually seeing where we would be going. Adam was always available, which is pretty impressive given the four hour time difference between Ireland and Nova Scotia. We are definitely pumped to see Scotland by rail and maybe even meet Adam. Who knows, eh?

I have been planning a dream trip to Scotland with my best friend. Sadly she is not able to go with me now. Tristen was amazing and worked with me to update all my travel plans and dates so it would work for me as a solo traveler much better. We knew we wanted to go on a family trip to Ireland, but we definitely did not want to drive ourselves. Renting cars, GPS, parking ~ it all sounded like a hassle. Then we found Sean at Go Rail Travel. He understood that the two generations traveling together had some differing priorities and was able to bridge those with a personalized itinerary. This is based on our reservation experience with Tristan. He was very helpful-that video was dynamite! Tristan was always helpful and persistent in getting us to book-I tend to drag my feet a bit. He also suggested the family accommodations since we’re taking our son. That works for us, as we don’t spend much time in a hotel room. Tristan said he’s available for issues during our trip, should they arise and after working with him for an extended time, I tend to believe that:)! Hope we don’t need you, Tristan, but it’s comforting to know we can call!

Sean has been working with my family to build our trip to Ireland this coming December, and he's been fantastic. He's answered our questions and helped us figure out exactly what we'd like to do when we visit. It was so awesome working with Alex! When we decided we did not want to drive around Ireland, she made us feel so comfortable that we could get to the places that we wanted to by rail and enjoy the scenery without having to know where the next turn would be,having a car breakdown , narrow roads , parking and so forth with Car Travel I pretty much knew all the places I wanted to go with the research I did and she verified I was right on track! She put together a day by day itinerary along with a video and sent it back to me! There were some things I wanted to tweak and when we talked about that she was very accommodating to my request and then sent me the updated itinerary. We are excited to visit Ireland by train because we’ve done that throughout Europe previously and it worked out great! We’ve put our money down and we now await. Our train schedules , the booking for the hotels and all the details to make it a dream come true. My wife and I were impressed with Sean and his detailed presentation for our upcoming Ireland vacation. He listened to our needs carefully and incorporated them into a thoughtful itinerary for our trip. Sean was very easy to work with and very flexible, as we have not yet confirmed a total headcount for the trip. He had everything planned out in detail, with many suggestions what to do at each stop along our trip. Any changes we had were made without issue. Joe has been great in helping 2 couples plan a dream trip to Scotland by rail for next Spring! Tristan has been great to work with in planning a travel itinerary for my wife and I to make our first visit to Scotland and England. He is polite, patient, and well versed regarding various travel options. Tristan worked through 2-3 draft itineraries before he finalized and booked things for me today. Joe was very knowledgeable about the rail rides and places in Scotland to visit. He took time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. The only thing that was a little difficult was hearing him on our conference call as there was a lot of background noise but other than that I would highly recommend Joe.
