Got Capital has to be the worst 'financial institution' I have ever come across.
Firstly this rogue company are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority so your consumer rights are limited. They also charge extorinate interest rates.
I had 1 missed payment and their staff deployed very aggressive tactics. Ringing from various different landlines and numbers with all sorts of threatening behaviour.
After bring unsuccessful in contacting me for 1 day they placed a CIFAS fraudelent marker on my file! What sort of organisation does this?? Despite several attempts to resolve they have been grossly unhelpful!
Do not go near this company!!

We provide unsecured funding advances (not loans) and support hundreds of UK businesses every week with access to fast, flexible funding. We are committed to treating every applicant fairly, transparently, and without prejudice. All clients, including yourself, receive full terms and repayment schedules upfront, confirmed via email, phone, and recorded video calls. Repayments are always fixed, with no compounding interest.
We work closely with business owners through challenging periods to set up affordable payment plans, but this requires ongoing communication. Escalation only occurs if mandates are cancelled and communication stops, and even then, it can be reversed once productive dialogue resumes. The key aspect of this though, is a willingness to communicate and engage. It must be mentioned that the timeline of events you have mentioned is both erroneous and misleading.

First at foremost, it's important to state that we provide funding advances to support hundreds of UK businesses every week with access to fast, flexible funding. We are committed to treating every applicant fairly, transparently, and without prejudice — and that will never change.
When a business owner submits an application, our Analysis Team will assess this using our standard affordability and risk-based criteria. As our funding advances are unsecured, risk and affordability — based on both the business and the owner — are key factors in determining any offer.
A provisional offer can often be issued, which is contingent on the fact that all necessary info has been provided to our Team, and that everything is accurate and up-to-date. If our Analysis Team subsequently discover additional necessary info - that has not been provided by the client - it is possible that the provisional offer may be amended or retracted. For example: if it subsequently comes to light that there are CCJs amounting to 10x of a provisional business funding offer, this likely would mean that we wouldn't move forward with the application.
