My wife and I (both retired) used Great Rail Journeys for the first time last year when we took a 'Little trains of Catelonia' holiday in April.

We were so pleased with the holiday in every way. The booking process, the excellent help and guidance available if needed, the camaraderie of the group experience and a marvelous group leader all convinced us that this sort of holiday was in many ways more enjoyable than 'just doing our own thing'.
So we have just booked again to holiday at Lake Garda in May '27 and are very much looking forward to it.

The tour guide was incredible in organising everything for us to make sure we didnt miss anything. Very professional and with a personal charm also which reflected the high quality of the tour (even an accompany the medical shop!).. second to none! Very enjoyable trip to India, learned so much about the culture and heritage from the exceptional guides - an experience never to be forgotten. The quality of hotels were excellent too and the food amazing. We came across a few challenges along the way, which were all part of the experience and the itinerary was tight so you do need to be personally organised to keep up with so many hotel transfers in such a short time. All in all a remarkable tour!

Excellent booking and pre holiday admin. It was our first time with GRJ and would highly recommend. Great itinerary, can't believe how much we did and incredible sights we saw. The Tour Manager who travelled with was a delight and the support staff and driver very good.
