Great wine at a very reasonable price. Fast service and very helpful when I suddenly realised the wine was going to the wrong address.

Always quality, wines I couldn’t find elsewhere at a great price. They dispatched my order promptly and properly packaged without plastic in a stout box which was delivered quickly and intact.

Established in 2003, Great Wines Direct is a family run independent wine merchant. Our outstanding selection of wines from across the world are independently graded and reviewed by the world's top wine critics - so you know exactly what you're getting and have the knowledge to confidently explore new grape varieties and appreciate new wines. For all of our wines, we strive to provide the most affordable rates available on the internet and in wine shops. We do not believe in intentionally raising our pricing in order to appear to give significant discounts. Our wines are not readily available in wine shops and supermarkets, only in quality restaurants, hotels and bars

Great prices & fast delivery
I always used to buy this wine directly from spanish sellers until I found it available at GreatWines. Obviously this means I have to pay less for shipping & also get much faster delivery! Cheers

Exactly as promised
Product was not easily available from any other seller. Delivery quick and exactly as promised. Downside is there is a lot of packaging which totally protects the wine but does result in me having to drive 10 miles to the recycling centre and as there is so much it won't fit in my electric car so need to take the diesel one, so that pretty much negates the environmental packaging benefit.
