They created a duplicate order and sent me two box sets. I told them what had happened and they said they would email me a return label. I waited a week checking my junk folder and nothing. I emailed again and they sent it right away. I shipped it back, they got it on the 26th and never refunded me. I emailed them a week later with the order number and tracking number, still haven't refunded me.

Also they won't let me delete a credit card I no longer have.

Gruv is a f-ing scam

Gruv is a f-ing scam! They sent me a movie that I never received and won't issue a refund until I return said movie. Every time I explain to them that I never got the movie in the first place they send me a canned response in broken english that they will issue a refund once they receive the disk back. Worst company every! Do NOT purchase from them.

DVD was not in mailbox

Ordered 4K version of North by Northwest. They advised that the DVD was delivered via USPS in my mailbox...except it wasn't there. Not sure if it got delivered wrong by USPS...but I have seem to have no recourse.

No Response No Customer Service No Dvd

Ordered a blu-ray dvd for over 2 weeks no information on the status, after multiple requests, none of which were responded to they with no explanation or apology refunded my money. This is the third problem I've had with this site. Stay away from them.

They said I needed to update my payment…

They said I needed to update my payment information even though there was nothing wrong with my card then cancelled my order. Now the movie I wanted is sold out. So I cancelled my other pre-order and will never use them again. I've been a loyal customer for years, but when a company pulls this stuff I'm done forever.

Excellent Customer Service after product issues

The DVD box was nicely packaged & the DVDs looked new but unfortunately there were defects that prompted me to initiate a return with GRUV. Their Customer Service was excellent & they resolved the matter very satisfactorily & promptly.

4k disk that i ordered included a…

4k disk that i ordered included a digital code. ordered 9/24, it arrived 9/28 and there was no insert for the code. i emailed them to report this and they told me initially its no longer valid as expiry is on 9/30. Told them it is 9/30 today so I asked if they can provide. they said not possible anymore. will not purchase from this site and will warn others. beware.

4K Collection missing digital codes

I purchased The Matrix - 4K UHD - 4 Film Deja Vu Collection. It was missing the 4K download codes. The box clearly states that it includes digital codes for the movies.

Another 4K movie was so banged up that the disc holder snapped off. After my experience with the Matrix digital codes, which would have been an easy fix for them, I didn’t even bother trying to work with them on the damaged order.
I will never order from them again. It was a mistake.

Not sure what all the hate is about. Great prices, and the customer service is excellent. I recently ordered three 4K discs, two of which were lost by USPS. I used their Contact Us form and received a reply within 30 minutes, and they replaced my discs right away EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T THEIR FAULT! Top-notch, and I'm happy to order from them directly or at their eBay store any time.

BEWARE

BEWARE - They ship in bags (in the past they used boxes). Approximately 50% of what I ordered arrives damaged. Then they continue to tell you that they will ship a label to you for a return BUT THEY NEVER DO! I lost out on one return and had to donate it and now I have two others and for weeks I have been getting the runaround. NOT ONE return label. I'm done with them.

Avoid at all costs

Just cancelled my order without any explanation. I have to pay for currency exchange. They simply do not care. They obviously gamble on goods they don't have and if it doesn't go there way then they just cancel. Avoid at all costs

Poor website, poor customer service

Received an email stating I needed to update my credit card information to receive my order. Tried to do that online, but the function doesn't work. I emailed customer service and was told that there was no way to update my payment method online or through customer service, despite receiving an email telling me I needed to do just that. They told me I needed to reorder the product. The product is still listed as in stock on the website, but there is no buy button, so I can't reorder. Poor website functionality, poor customer service.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

I have ordered from GRUV many times in the past 2 years. If you order steelbooks from GRUV most likely the item will come in damaged / heavily damaged. A lot of their steelbooks are left over inventory from BEST BUY and the BEST BUY exclusive steelbooks (since BB stopped selling physical media) So if they were damaged steelbooks left over from BB…..guess what GRUV is now selling those same items. Another thing is GRUV is charging full price for steelbooks for that have expired digital copy codes. I have reached out to their customer service before and they are not of much help and just forward you to contact the movie studio. The BIGGEST ISSUE with GRUV is the shipping is the worst in the business!!! Steelbook movies are shipped with very little to NO protection!! Their shipping comes in a paper mailer WITH NO BUBBLE WRAP OR BUBBLE PROTECTION so when shipping going through the network your item / steelbook will most likely be squashed. Check customer pictures and complaints with just a simple google search. Another issue is I have ordered a movies from GRUV and the order will stay pending for a long time (not a pre order) and never gets delivered. I would have to email them and saying what happened to my order to only get a reply back saying that the item / movie is out of stock, but yet it says says “In Stock” & available on their website. GRUV can still redeem themselves if they would take the time to work on proper shipment packaging and not bothering sending steelbooks that are not already damaged as to update their website to a more modern UI.

USED TO BE GREAT, NOW TERRIBLE

I had really good luck with Gruv for about 4 years. Anything damage they replaced, no issue. However, my issue is I have a P. O. BOX address and they keep shipping FEDEX instead of USPS. Once FEDEX has package they "correct my street address." I pay for a P.O. BOX for a specific reason, because FEDEX just delivers my packages to the wrong address, all the time. GRUV promised me this would not happen again. Placed an order yesterday, they lied to me. They lost a customer, simple as that. Screw em.

Damaged Steelbooks galore from Gruv!!

Damaged Steelbooks galore coming from Gruv. And you know that it’s become, at this point, habitual, to expects a damaged steelbook from Gruv that the name Gruv has now become synonymous with dented/damaged steelbook in the Reddit community. Personally, I’ve preorder the following steelbooks and all arrived damaged: The Departed, Ocean’s 11 through 13, and American Sniper. That is a whopping of 5 back-to-back orders that have arrived dented at the seam, the cover caved, disc holder broken, and everything else you can think of. And why you must ask? Well, Gruv reserves to the lease protected type of of packaging as a way to lower: a measly bubble-padded envelope, and that’s it. ahaha I swear at this point i have nothing else to do but laugh at the situation because i am done with these people. what’s the point to lower their cost in order to pass on a supposed saving onto the consumer, when you’re not willing to protect the product and then you now incure additional costs because of constant returns. What’s is wrong with you Gruv? and if you don’t know what to do to fix this, let me solve the riddle for you: SEND STEELBOOKS IN A BOX!!

Avoid gruv entertainment!

Ordered the new Openheimer DVD on ebay from gruv entertainment. Arrived in a few days in an envelope. The disc did not play. Nothing.
Gruv demanded that I print a label and ship it back to them. I have no way to print a label, no computer, mid 70's living in the country with a small 6 year old cell phone. Finally trashed the worthless disc and wrote off the $18 I paid. Decided I cannot trust sellers on ebay and tried to cancel my account. Weeks later am still trying to cancel my account. Recieved a printed label in the mail two days ago. Ha ha. Joke's on me. Bad disc trashed weeks ago.
Contacted ebay and the rep I spoke with told me that gruv was blocking me from deleting my account to get revenge for the bad review they recieved. He said that I'm not the only one they've screwed with and that gruv entertainment "has issues".
Ebay has been good to deal with in the past but not any more.
Still trying to cancel my account...
Finally got ebay account canceled. Only took two months. Miss ebay a little but do not miss Being Scammed.
