Once again fabulous company, I don’t understand the negative reviews? My new bag delivered on time from Germany, I’ve been updated along the way via Royal Mail & received a fabulous buffalo bag, now have two backpack & two smaller cross body bags, obviously I must stop ordering, but just love the quality & price from this company!🤗

BEWARE! They do not honor their warranty.

I bought two of their Asia carryon bags as gifts. Both were defective. One fell over if you took your hand off it. The wheels fell off the second after the 3rd weekend trip. Gusti Leder refused to honor their warranty when the wheels fell off. They also accepted my review on their website, but refused to publish it. The luggage was pretty, but not functional.

Gusti Leder: Where Your Warranty Goes to Die

Gusti Leder's customer service turned a simple broken suitcase wheel into a two-month, international, comedic-tragedy, and you should steer clear. My bag hilariously ejected a wheel in the middle of an airport parking lot after just three uses, a clear sign of a defect, yet Gusti’s "helpful" support staff bounced me between contradictory options like it was a passport control queue. This two-month email chain provided so many conflicting answers that I now have more clarity on how the universe was created than I do on Gusti Leder's return policy. After confirming the bag was under warranty, they refused a refund, return, or repair due to "prohibitive customs issues," essentially making their warranty a fun little lie for US based customers. Their initial offer to cover the repair was $23—which I assume is the international cost of a cheap wheel and a single, very brief prayer. Instead of covering the repair, they mailed me two replacement wheels with no instructions and offered a final maximum refund of $60 USD—a gesture that won't even cover half the labor cost quoted by my local repairman (who estimates $200+). Gusti Leder essentially confirmed my bag is covered by a 'warranty' that only covers the cost of disappointment. It's truly a masterclass in how to not honor a guarantee. The moral of the story: If you buy a bag from Gusti, you'd better be a certified cobbler who can fix your own suitcase, because if anything breaks, you'll be footing the bill for their manufacturing defect.

All I can say is WOW!!

All I can say is WOW!!! What a beautiful backpack and the quality is impeccable!! The leather and detail is top notched!! This is by far the best purchase of a backpack I have ever made!! I did not need to contact customer service for anything! The tracking was on the spot!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

Insgesamt wirkt das Produkt extrem billig und ist den Preis absolut nicht wert.

Mangelhafte Qualität und enttäuschender Service: Ein absoluter FehlkaufIch kann von einem Kauf bei diesem Anbieter leider nur abraten. Die gelieferte Tasche ist qualitativ minderwertig und entspricht in keiner Weise den vielversprechenden Bildern auf der Website. Besonders ärgerlich: Das Material färbt massiv auf die Kleidung ab, was bereits zu dauerhaften Schäden an meiner Garderobe geführt hat.Zusätzlich kam die Tasche bereits mit Flecken bei mir an, die sich trotz vorsichtiger Reinigung nicht entfernen lassen. Der Kundenservice ist ebenso enttäuschend wie das Produkt selbst – man erhält keinerlei hilfreiche Unterstützung oder ein angemessenes Entgegenkommen. Insgesamt wirkt das Produkt extrem billig und ist den Preis absolut nicht wert.

Gusti maakt mooie rommel

Gusti maakt mooie rommel, zonder klantenservice. Mijn Bobby 15”-rugzak scheurde al na een maand. Wanneer ik de klantendienst contacteer om te polsen naar garantie krijg ik het absurde antwoord dat de rugzak mogelijks door een hond stukgebeten is. Ongelofelijk. Zeker omdat we geen hond hebben.

Ik heb de rugzak een maand keer gedragen bij woon-werkverkeer. Volgens omschrijving op de website is deze rugzak de ideale rugzak om je notebook, wat kaften en een drinkfles te vervoeren. Niet dus.

Ik stuurde de klantendienst niet alleen foto’s van de scheur maar ook van de buitenkant. Want die laatste ziet er nog prima uit. Daarmee wou ik tonen dat ik wel goed gezorgd heb voor de tas. Het is echt enkel de bodem die scheurde. Maar daar hebben ze geen oren naar. Tegen betaling willen ze hem wel nog herstellen. Dat noem ik geen service. Als je rugzak de eerste maand al scheurt, dan heb je een slecht product verkocht. 0/10.

terrible!! Could be a scam!!

At first I had to wait for weeks for their anwser about the products that had still not been sent. After waiting for a month they finally cancelled the order and told me that I’ll get a refund. It’s been 4 months and I still haven’t received my refund (or the products).

Nice leather but poor dimensions not described when buying

I bought the Laihja Notebook cover for my weekly planner from Moleskine as my last one was damaged. The leather is of great quality. However they sneakily adjust the sizing so that only their refills will fit the notebook. Having it personalised meant I was lumped with it. Very disappointing and with no recourse has led to the two stars. Be more clear when selling that it is an A5 of loose description as no other retailer offers a refill that small.

Snelle, vriendelijke, klantenservice

Ik had 2 dagboeken besteld en liet er in graveren. Ik had echter bij de bestelling een schrijffout met de naam gemaakt.
Hierover een email nagestuurd met de vraag of die fout nog hersteld kon worden. Ik kreeg vervolgens meteen bericht dat het doorgegeven was aan de graveerafdeling. Verder kreeg ik 3 dagen later al, 2 prachtige, lederen dagboeken met prachtig, zgn, oud papier.
Ik ben zeer tevreden hierover.

Dit soort louche zaakjes poppen constant op, door (tieners) snel geld willen verdienen. Er is niet eens een contactadres. De voorwaarden zijn precies hetzelfde als alle andere dropshippertjes. Kijk goed naar de layout van de site, die is altijd hetzelfde als van de andere dubieuze sites. Ze pretenderen ook bijna altijd dat ze vacatures hebben uitstaan, waar dan? Mensen, trap er niet in.

Excellent quality and customer service

I ordered some leather grips for a vintage bike. They are very good quality and look amazing. They come with the bar-end plugs which isn't too clear from the website.

When I originally ordered, I quickly changed my mind on seeing the shipping cost which was as much as the item and so cancelled the order. Gusti were very polite and efficient and quickly cancelled it. Then... having scoured the UK for anything similar, decided that the price including the shipping was pretty good, so ordered them again. So thank you Gusti and sorry for being a difficult customer.

Zeer slechte service( Schoudertas…

Zeer slechte service( Schoudertas gekocht in Den Haag, na 2 maanden liet aan de buitenkant stiknaad los!) In de winkel klacht hierover ingediend , er zou contact met mij opgenomen worden!? Nu 2,5 maand later nog niets van Gusto Leder vernomen !!!! Wat is dit slecht. " VEEL BELOVEN, WEINIG GEVEN DOET EEN ZOT IN VREUGDE LEVEN!!!!!!!!

Gusti defrauds children by refusing to replace faulty item

My daughter bought a small purse from her pocket money at a Gusti stand at a market in Berlin. The same day we drove back to The Netherlands and already in the car the zipper failed. My daughter is a respectful 11 year old who has enough common sense not to break stuff. She has tried several times to have the faulty item replaced by Gusti. Unfortunately they refuse to replace the item (which is mandatory under consumer law), they backtrack on earlier promises and generally are very uncooperative: e.g. one of their suggestions was to go back to the shop, which is of course in Berlin, 700kms away. For Gusti the purchase price may be small change, but for a little girl who is starting to independently make buying decisions paid from her own money, this is really disappointing!

Amazing product for a good price!

I used Gusti Leder many times in the past, they are fantastic and the quality of products is very good, the same as bags one usually pays hundreds for.
All the bags I own (like 6) are always thought out for purpose with extra ways to organise and fit everything easily without looking bulky.
I honestly have been a customer for 15 years and cannot recommend them enough.
