Gift message not included - embarrassing

I sent a hamper with a request to include a gift message. The recipient received the hamper but it did not include the gift message so they did not know who had sent it. This was embarrassing as I had to check with the recipient to see if they had received it with made a mockery of sending a gift,
And to make matters worse Hampers.com asked me to review their service via "Reviews.io" and the optional questions about speed of delivery, overall experience, customer service and how likely I am to recommend Hampers.com did not work!!!

The gift message is included on the gift card, which is placed in a clear plastic pouch at the front of the hamper, next to the delivery label. Unfortunately, this can sometimes be overlooked when the hamper is opened, and we appreciate you highlighting this as it shows us we need to make the placement clearer.

I bought the White Christmas Hamper for…

I bought the White Christmas Hamper for £50, which would have been free delivery but there was a 10% discount which made it £45 + £5.99 delivery. A little pointless really. The Hamper on the picture looked better than in reality. It was pictured with a basket but was delivered in a sack, nice looking sack too but not as advertised. I think in future I'll be cheaper just putting a Hamper together myself.

I wasn’t impressed with how little was in the basket. I would have been cheaper creating my own basket. As it was for £85 , I then had to buy more stuff to add to the basket to make it look presentable. Never again

Awful. Avoid

Awful. They used Evri and at first it was delayed (apparently delivered on 21st, 3 days late) then we were told it was delivered, only it was to a completely different address! Do not use this company unless you want to upset and disappoint your recipients. Simply awful.

Excellent Customer Service

So this was my original review “The buying process was fine but the delivery company just left the package on the doorstep. It wasn’t signed for and ended up getting soaked in the rain and ruined.” Hampers.com reached out extremely quickly once they heard what the delivery company had done and have since changed couriers. I’ve used them again since the mishap and couldn’t be happier. Their new courier gives you plenty of updates on your delivery and will even let you know within the hour when your parcel is being delivered. As I said before Hampers.com offer a great service, easy ordering, particularly when your ordering for family from overseas and I’ll keep using them as I have for many years.

Smashed hamper, poor customer experience

A hamper sent to me as a gift arrived smashed and covered in a sticky relish and broken glass.

Customer services were slow to respond and not very helpful and were requesting the damaged items to have a collection arranged and then a replacement would be sent out.

I didn’t feel it was worth my time and effort to send back what is in effect a few quids worth of product.

Placed an order of two hampers…

Placed an order of two hampers delivered to the same address in time for Christmas, one has been delivered one is still saying that it’s awaiting arrival at evri. Your customer service team only seem to apologise and say they will email evri to get an update, but according to their tracking they have not received it. So has it even been dispatched? Your customer service team has been very unhelpful in resolving this or investigating this.

A prompt service

A prompt service. The recipients are delighted with the contents. As far as customer service is concerned, my mistake with a delivery address was corrected within a couple of hours (Thank you Naomi), with confirmation of the correction the next day. Quite rare,these days.
