SECOND UPDATE: Soon after posting my "update" yesterday, they called me and explained and apologized about everything. He was very sincere about his apology and wanted to do whatever it took to make things right. I am keeping my order with them and it should be arriving today. Couldn't be happier with the phone call I received yesterday :)

UPDATE: Since putting my comment on here, they have now taken my money back out of my account (even though they say below that they are canceling my order). I still have NOT received an email saying it has shipped or anything - so WHY did they take my money from me? I may have stuck with the order, but when they show that they have a 30% restocking fee if it's incorrect and sent back and everyone else is around 10-15% restocking fee, no thank you. Please give me my money back - there is no reason you should have taken it back out - especially since it happened only after I complained on here. Tried calling also with no luck.

I'm not sure how to even rate them as I really haven't dealt with them yet. I did place an order for a pool pump and the money for it was placed in "pending" in my bank account. A few days later, this money disappeared out of pending and was not taken out of my account so I was confused - I do know the product never shipped. We really needed this pump and never received anything from them giving us a ship date or anything. I'm assuming they didn't have it in stock. So I emailed them back telling them to forget about the order - not even to bother sending it to us as it was taking way too long. I have not heard anything back from them even on multiple emails to them. A simple email from them saying they received my email cancellation and that they would cancel the order on their end would be nice. I don't have time to wait for them to "not answer me" .... this is why the 2 stars ..... still waiting to hear they show my cancellation and don't ship.

I pulled up your order and found few things about it.

I can see that you placed your order during 4th July holidays. Because of the holdiay we have been experiencing delays which we tried to communicate through notices on product pages while placing the order.

We understand that there are emergency sometime but unfortunately we can only have items delivered to the customers in about 7 business days. I majority of cases this comes way earlier than 7 days but during long holidays it can definitely take upto 7 days.

On finding further details about your order I can see we are very well under the 7 business day time frame that was committed to you when you placed the order.

I can also see you sent follow up email on the weekend but unfortunately because our offices were closed we were not able to answer back.

Your motor was scheduled to ship out of our warehouse today and I already see the tracking number generated which you should have received in the evening as our standard process but after going through your email sent to us over the weekend I understand that you need to cancel your order and hence I will forward your request to our inventory team to take necessary action.

I placed an order for 3 Square D meter…

I placed an order for 3 Square D meter main combos that they said they had in stock, a few days later I get an email saying the order was cancelled with no explanation. I would assume they didnt have any to start with as they are hard to find right now. I would have been fine with that except they charged my bank card 832.52 the same day they sent the email and I have yet to receive my credit.

Hello,

We don't charge the customers credit card until the items are shipped out. While placing an order customers credit card is only pre-authorized for the value of the order.

On checking your specific order I can confirm that your card was only pre-authorized and not charged. Pending transactions usually go away within a couple of days. Again they are pending meaning not charged.

I also reviewed the email sent to you on your order cancellation and it clearly states the items were not available, an explanation to why your order was cancelled. We stock range of the products with wide inventory and hence especially when the inventory is running too low there is a chance some time the items are not available or are marked out because they are damaged and we don't want to send damage item to our customers.

I also checked with our customer support team and learnt that we had not been contacted by you via email or phone to explain these concerns. The only place I see your questions/concerns was on this platform and I hope to have answered them.

Quick and Efficient

Placed an order for a box of cleaners on Monday and got the items on Friday. They said it would take 7-10 days but I ended up getting it alot sooner! Customer Service was very quick with answering my emails.! Would definitely buy from them again

Great Company!

We requested for a help from a technical team at Hardware & Moreee and they helped us to get to the solution of finding a correct motor and we immediately sent a purchase order to them and we got the motor within 2 days! and it works on our application very well. I would definitely recommend others to buy from Hardware & Moreee! They will definitely be happy with their product and their customer service as well.

BUYER BEWARE

I ordered a gift from their website because it was the only one I could get it in time for Christmas. I ordered early because of the shipping delays around that time. I received it quickly and without issue. Unfortunately, it wasn't what the person wanted so I wanted to return it. First of all, you have to get permission to return something and was shocked when it was denied. I was told it was shipped from the vendor and couldn't be returned and also it was 1 day past their 30 day return policy (return date was Christmas eve!). The product hadn't even been opened. So I tried contacting the vendor but was told they don't deal with this company. Now I"m stuck with a product I don't want and have no use for. I will never but anything here again. The policies are ridiculous in this day and age and they were nasty on top of that.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We follow standard 30 day return policy for most items that we stock. For items that are shipped direct from the vendors we have to follow vendor return policies. We try to be as transparent about our return policy as possible. We have our return policy in the bottom of our website and we also have return policy on our product page for customers to review before they place orders.

For items that we stock we give 30 days to return. If the item stops working for any reason we follow standard warranty practice as dictated by the manufacturer.

But for the items that are shipped direct from the manufacturer we cannot accept the items unless the vendor accepts it.

I ordered the Colonial Ball Post Top and here's what they sent me... Their website doesn't give a phone number for customer service... You have to email them to get permission to return an item, even when they send you the wrong items. We'll I did email them and asked permission... Their response, we're checking our bins too see what could've gone wrong... I've tried to connect with them to get an update... Nothing but crickets!!! I'm being ghosted...

We are sorry for the inconvenience here... since you mentioned that the item you received was incorrect our standard practice is to first do the bin check in order to understand what went wrong. A complete refund was issued to you with a week or two once it was discovered that you have received an incorrect item.

Good CS, but item stock may not be current...

Placed an order with Hardware and Moreee on a Saturday for an AO Smith oil furnace burner motor, it turned out that these were out of stock. They promptly contacted me via email to notify me on the next business day (Monday). That I could either get a refund or they had another equivalent US Motors (sub Nidec) brand in stock. I accepted the other motor offer. This didn't get processed until Tuesday, since I was late responding to their email Monday evening. The order shipped out Tuesday and arrived Thursday.
All in all it was a good experience, I would definitely purchase from them again. I do have to take one star for the stock on the item not being updated.
