Was looking to book when I found out the passes price is extortionate and it does not cover the cost of most of the activities as you have to pay extra on top of the passes. Not happy

We visited Haven Burnham on Sea and…
We visited Haven Burnham on Sea and stayed in a Bronze Static Caravan. The Caravan was very good with a Dishwasher, Drawers for your clothes and plenty of hooks to hang coats and towels.
It such a shame that the Caravan was very dirty. We had to buy disinfectant wipes to start cleaning everything. It didn’t look like the floor had been mopped for the entire summer. We had young children so had to wipe the floor and the cloths were very dirty after finishing.
You are then asked to strip the beds before you leave. Please Haven sort this out you have a good site make sure they are spotless for your Customers who pay a lot of money for these Static Caravans.
Haven Primrose Valley 2024
On arrival we were made to feel very welcome by John Warham and the team and any queries we had with our accommodation (including a problem with dvd player!) were resolved very quickly (within an hour!) much to the relief of our granddaughters who could then watch Peppa Pig!
Awful customer services
We had to cancel our holiday as my elderly father is disabled and had a nasty fall and could not be left on his own. I still have not been told if I will be getting any money back all they were interested in was official paperwork as to why we could not continue with the holiday. I am absolutely fuming what's the point of this if they won't give me any money back. They are quick enough taking the money. I hope something happens to them one day and see how they like it. Customer services is non existence in this company. They are really insensitive.
golden sands Mablethorpe
I have given this review 3 stars only because the caravan was really good. Silver standard, but well over priced. £570. 00 for 3 days inc play passes.. Apart from the caravan the rest was overpriced and substandard entertainment. I say entertainment, there was not a lot. In the evenings in the main venue, where you needed your passes, they had bingo on, and then a couple of kids just talking with background music. Rubbish. Went to the onsite chip shop. Cookes. Should be called Crooks. 3 x fish, chips and mushy peas, 2 x sausage and chips. £54.00 and the chips were frozen. The site was quite full so they do not need to offer anything in the way of entertainment. Avoid Haven, they just want your money
Just come back from a long weekend at…
Just come back from a long weekend at Burnham-on-Sea Holiday Park. It was the worst holiday I’ve been on. We booked three sessions in the indoor pool and when we got in, it was super busy with no space, food and plasters in the pool so we got out after 10 mins with our kids. The outdoor pool was better but then closed at 5pm. Food, drinks were all a rip off(£5.70) a beer, nearly £3 a glass of coke and wine was even worse. every activity was so expensive for what you got so we booked zero of them for the kids apart from the karts(one having no seat belt). After all cost you may as well go away for a sunny break as it’ll cost less and have more fun. The language of the kids and families there were extremely rude, kids swearing all the time…I’m definitely not taking my kids back there again. Please people, find somewhere else, STAY AWAY !!
MAGGOTS
MAGGOTS
We stayed at the end of July and the first night we dined in smash and barrel. After a few bites of my food I notice there were maggots crawling all over it. Straight away I informed staff and asked for a refund. It’s been a month and still no refund. Haven you need to do better!!! MAGGOTS
Golden Sands
Golden Sands - Camping
Camp site not organized and no planned pitches
No security checking on behavior a few tents where parting until early hours (this is supposed to be a family holiday park it's why I used to use them)
Almost impossible to book tables or activities any more
Play passes are useless as the don't get checked and it rare you can get To use the benefits
Haven Lakeland
Haven Lakeland- August 2024
We booked a three night weekend stay.
We decided to check out after one night of staying.
We arrived and checked in later in the evening on the Friday to find no key for the caravan therefore had to find security to find one for us which took some time.
We expected basic but unfortunately the caravan itself smelt terribly of smoke, vomit and one bedroom particularly smelt of body odour and whilst it had been cleaned was still not as clean as I would have expected ‘even for basic’
We made the best of it that evening as it was very late and got up early and went out for the day.
I paid extra to include the pass but it was pointless as there was no swimming pool slots available at all, all weekend.
On returning to the caravan after a day out the horrible smells were amplified after the windows were closed and it had been a warm day.
We have a small child and it just wasn’t acceptable.
We packed up and headed to reception.
The staff on reception were apologetic and offered me a different caravan however there was only one available on the whole park and it was a further downgrade from what we already had.
Disappointed we decided to check out.
I was told I’d receive an email from haven to review my experience but I haven't received one. I have received no apology or communication other than automated emails to book my next stay.
This was my first and last time at a Haven park.
Great for campervans
We live close to the Flookborough site. Visit very often with the campervan. Our 2 year old loves it.
Usually very clean toilets and showers. On occasion at night other guests have left it a mess but always tidy by morning.
March to July is reasonably priced. Think we have been 5 times this year. We love it.
Marton mere holiday park blackpool
I went to Marton mere holiday park in Blackpool.
It was shocking the cleanliness was borderline disgusting,
We went as a family of 17 my parents shower had spit up the walls!!
Rubbish still on the floor from the previous tenants
there was tobacco on the floor packets of cigarettes under the bed not a nice feeling when your young daughter finds them, they did offer £30 in vouchers and free game of golf but ironically, you couldn’t spend vouchers because it was too busy everywhere and you couldn’t get a game of golf because it was too many people in front of you .The sheets weren’t fitted properly ovens took more than 45 minutes just to cook a pizza nothing works properly in the caravan
there is nowhere near Enough facilities for the sheer amount of people on the site you would have to go to the clubhouse around 3 o’clock to try and get a seat for the evening four hours before the entertainment even starts, food is awful, Cannot move in the arcade I would not recommend this place and I will never go back probably the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent.
I have recently visited your Caister on…brilliant customer service
I have recently visited your Caister on Sea site. I received the most helpful support on Sunday evening when my hairdryer wouldn’t work or my oven. Mikey was brilliant he found a new hairdryer and got us Pizzas to make up for not being able to use the oven. He went above and beyond, was helpful, friendly and polite. Thank you. Melanie Beck MBE

Hastings haven
When we arrived the caravan still had dirty tissue under the bed coffee stains on the table and shower bathroom was dirty! Also we was told we wasn’t aloud to be out of are caravans past 1030. Cause of noise complaint just from having a chat. Management was very unprofessional made us feel like we wasn’t welcome there. We constantly got accused of things just because we were in a big group of booking 3 caravans. Would recommend this place is your going in big groups. Felt very on edge of doing something wrong as they come and put us on last warning. Also my nephew had been threatened by a man told security it was like they wasn’t interested because of being in a big group and were we had management come to us about a couple things.
Most definitely would not recommended this place
Also they say there late dj 3 nights in a row they hadn’t showed up
Drink prices are really over priced
Not a good experience and would never go back to there again
Eddie who works in the arcade
This review is specifically for Eddie who works in the arcade. Everytime I have been in there and seen him he is always o friendly and lovely, never fails to make a positive experience for me and the little ones. He is a massive asset to Church Farm!
Seashore Holiday park
Just got back from a three night stay at seashore. Caravan adequate and clean. Facilities and activities were great, as were all of the staff everywere we went , especially Emma from activities. We enjoyed sunday roast in the restaurant. The only downside was a couple of groups of foul mouthed ferel children, not
supervised by parents, in fact we never saw them with any adults all weekend. Security had to come and deal with them on several occasions, but they were just moved on to go and cause trouble elsewhere. Their families should of been told to leave the park after the first few warnings. When we left to come home, someone had purposely smashed the back light of our son in laws car, which was parked at the side of their caravan all weekend.causing £180 worth of damage so not sure if we would return.
Never Again
I usually don’t stay at chain campsites but we wanted to go to the Lake District and left it too late to book our usual sites. So we stayed at Lakeland as plenty of availability (should have been the first warning sign). The only positives is that it was near Lake Windermere & the on site shop was reasonably priced.
Other than those things, I hated every second of it & thankfully there is so much to do in the lakes that we stayed off site as much as possible.
We went with friends & between us we have 4 kids. Having looked at a Lakeland, it seemed pretty decent for the selection of activities. Wrong. The activities didn’t last long, some were not available due to broken equipment and although we were swiftly booked on to something else instead, it just added to the misery.
The outdoor pool closes at the ridiculously early time of circa 4pm, so my thoughts to sit next to the pool with friends whilst the kids played in the water, in to the evening, never materialised. The indoor pool was sweltering as an observer (had to sit on chairs poolside) and it is just a pool. No slides, no wave machine, nothing.
The onsite lake was pants; we instead went to Windermere and Derwent for all of our water sports.
The wait for food was borderline hilarious! 1.5 hours from ordering, to receiving, ONE portion of cheesy chips.
All these things could have been overlooked as, as stated, there is plenty of things to do offsite - which we chose to do. However I paid for a site with activities and it was a let down.
That said, the main issues which has resulted in me NEVER booking a Haven holiday again, are as follows:
The touring pitches for £195 for 3 nights, are not fully serviced. I’d expect a water tap on my pitch for that price and the EHU was dismal, I relied on my inverter which is more powerful.
Now, I know I’m on holiday so I’m not using my phone/laptop etc but I still need to communicate and as such, it’s disappointing that in 2024, there was no service anywhere on the touring pitch despite a huge mast being right there. Our friends were in a caravan and they too, had no signal and there is no option to buy WiFi for the time there. The only WiFi is around the main activity centre/bar/pool. We ended up using our walkie talkies to speak to each other, as we were on opposite sides of the park.
The pitches are quite small, I stepped out of my awning on day 2, only to be met by the side of a caravan, inches from my face. The tent area was even worse and I thought I’d accidentally drove in to a festival; all cramped in and looked an absolute mess! Not helped by huge bins on display in the middle of the site-have some sense and hide them away and perhaps near the toilet block instead!
Talking of the toilet block, you could smell it before you could see it and this was by far, the most disgusting toilet block I’ve had the displeasure of stepping foot in. I actually tried to wait until I was off-site to use the facilities in restaurants.
There was all types of human waste on the floors, on the seats, on the walls, doors etc…
One toilet was out of use, the other had no lock on it (how much is a lock to replace, really?) and the other 3 looked and smelt, like they hadn’t been cleaned in a week. There was a chart on the wall for when the toilets were last cleaned; the staff were either blind, lying or really bad at their job.
Lastly, and this is not exactly Haven’s fault but I’d like to point out that the majority of guests, were what I can only describe as what you’d see on Benefit Britain. There was a ‘lady’ in front of me holding a baby whilst vaping. There were many occasions of swearing, spitting, shouting & them making a mess everywhere.
So overall, it was a terrible site, only made bearable by enjoying time with our friends and that we were surrounded by the beauty of the lakes. I would definitely NOT recommend.
Primrose valley Haven
We've just finished our week at primrose valley can't complain about anything and we had plenty of food out weatherspoons was good but lakeside was really good we had good service one night from Vicky then on Sunday night by Emily D would come again
Just come back from riviera sands at…great stay i well recommend
Just come back from riviera sands at hayle Cornwall fantastic site clean caravan every thing you could need for a stay in the caravan the view from the caravan overlooking the sea 2 bed with main bedroom having a ensuite toilet down to attend a wedding so it was a great location this is the 4th time on this site never disappointed can't wait for another visit
Okay...
Okay....
Firstly I think it's overpriced, alot of money for a 7 night stay and you still have to pay for most added extras but other places are cheaper with more included. We stayed at seashore with our kids and dogs, I thought it was missing a secure dog park as the dogs can't actually go into any of the amenities.
The caravan, it served it's purpose, right by the beach, it was clean enough although the beds were very uncomfortable.
The clubhouse was good for the kids, good activities and the actors/hosts were amazing, drinks were a little overpriced.
Extremely poor cleaning service. Caravan dirty, toilet's over flowing no toilet roll. Understaffed and made to feel uncomfortable when trying to raise issues with staff.
Extremely poor cleaning service
