I stayed at Quay West Wales caravan Camden 19 where I parked my car next to the caravan at the back I notice a huge rats nest, I reported it and it seemed as though to the person I spoke to it was jus... Ver más

Was looking to book when I found out the passes price is extortionate and it does not cover the cost of most of the activities as you have to pay extra on top of the passes. Not happy

Kent coast stayed in gold caravan so…
Kent coast stayed in gold caravan so clean and lovely, single bedrooms are very small and bed uncomfortably only complaint. The park itself is so clean and all staff so friendly, loads to do for children and loads of walks and great place for dogs as they are very dog friendly. Definitely would return again
We went to Devon Cliffs and left after…
We went to Devon Cliffs and left after 4 days of a 10 day holiday. 2 September and from the start it was bad we had a fully disabilty van wich had a ramp which was fine till you parked your car and then you could not get on or of the ramp till you moved your car. The door way to van had a pice of wood to get over lip of doorway so wheel chair was slipping all over trying to get in .bed was broken on bedroom central heating was broken told reception. Useless complete wast of time .could not reach them by phone .it was my and my wife's 40th wedding anniversary and my wife recently diagnosed with cancer so thought we would have a treat.and it was the worst holiday ever .made a complaint. Complete wast of time will never use again. Have pictures
Nice site, plenty to do, blue dolphin, filey
Blue dolphin filey; On arrival I was greeted by an elderly gentleman who told me he couldn't help me with my booking until I returned to him in my vehicle, I returned and was told my cabin was the other end other the park(he could of been a little more welcoming). On inspection of the van (1 rowan close) there was toast left in the drawer the broken tv was on. The tv looked like it had been hit 2-3 times (I don't understand how this wasn't picked up by housekeeping after the last visitors) the issues where rectified within 30 minutes of me raising them. We booked the van to sleep 6 adults and two 2 year old. The main double room was nice and clean with an on suite toilet. The two other bedrooms had 2 sets single beds and the living room sofa folded out into a double bed. I struggled to clean the floors with no hoover and the dustpan and brush was a long handle broom with a tiny dust pan lol. The curtains in the room need stoppers to stop the curtains coming off the tracks and either remove the sound system or repair it. Overall cabin 7/10 just needs a little attention to detail for new arrivals and a couple of jobs needs doing to what is a lovely cabin with cental heating. If these minor little jobs are done I would 100% recommend
BE VERY AWARE ALL DOG OWNERS
BE VERY AWARE ALL DOG OWNERS
Combe haven holiday park absolute disgrace… please be careful and aware our caravan was broken in too when I was in there .
The person stole our 12 week old puppy .
Police were called and holiday markers were helpful I must say ( helping looking round the park )
BUT COMBE HAVEN were not helpful at all : didn’t even come to the van until nearly 2 hours after it was reported.
Regarding refund and support there was none even tho we left 2 and a half days early .
Because of the distress and feeling unsafe in the van we didn’t wish to stay any longer
We were told this was our choice to leave and that means no refund . No offer to move to a van that was close to security ( not that we would have ) and we were told we should have locked the door to the van even tho I was inside .
So this means they have no responsibility to what happened. They even kept implying my puppy had got out the door on its own
Even tho she could jump up to the handle being so small and her lead had been taken
BUT MOST SHOCKINGLY OF ALL NO SORRY OR COMPASSION TO WHAT HAS HAPPENED.
They had no empathy about the situation and asked we not distress other holiday markers by divulging what had happened.
A refund will not bring our puppy home or make our children less sad about the situation but the gesture and goodwill of the holiday park would have been appreciated. I’m writing to havens head office as I don’t believe Combe haven have dealt with the matter correctly. I also believe everyone should be aware of what has happened here and be cautious when taking pets or even being in your vans alone . Worst caravan experience ever I’m now considering never staying in one again as I’m frightened to what might of happened if I had come out of the bedroom whilst the intruder was in there ….
Do not go near Haggerston Castle and…
Do not go near Haggerston Castle and don’t expect Haven to resolve your complaint. Worst holiday ever. Caravan is so minging we are leaving early. Holes in curtains, stains of God knows what on the sofa, sofa bed damp and mouldy, broken kettle, beds lopsided, old dirty mattresses, sliding glass fireplace fell off and almost hit a four year old, kids found a half empty whisky bottle in the kitchen cupboard, broken radiators, broken lamps, bedding damp and not washed, carpets absolutely filthy, broken porch gate, blinds hanging off the window. Van wasn’t cleaned before we arrived, no key and kitchen cupboards all peeling off. Granddaughter is allergic to dust and dirt and woke up with a rash and swollen face because everything is filthy. Nails hanging out the carpets. Husband cut his foot in the pool. We’ve been to Primrose Valley and it was great. Haggerston Castle Holiday Park is a pit in comparison. I pity whoever is coming to this particular van in Leylandii Gardens tomorrow. Been to reception to complain several times. Waste of time. Official complaint into Haven. Feel gutted as my daughter in law was here in March and said it was great. We paid for a silver and to be honest it doesn’t even feel good enough for a saver. 🤬 We left a day earlier than paid for. Spent all of Saturday out the park because we couldn’t bear the caravan. Absolutely horrendous company and I will not be stopping complaining until I get a full refund. They breached their contract over and over
Stayed for a long weekend
Stayed for a long weekend, it was ok apart from not accommodating for gluten free allergens. Been told none of the Havens do.
I would never ever use this company…
I would never ever use this company again, they are uncontactable and genuinely do not care about their customers. Their site at Orchards holiday village in Clacton is a “HOVEL”. Broken fences, filthy caravans, dog poop all over the place, abandoned cars and vans, blocked walkways forcing people on to the road, poorly trained staff, derelict buildings, overflowing bins, rubbish all over the place. The grassed areas are in a dreadful condition and thorn bushes are uncut and a real hazard along the walking areas. This place resembles a war zone in certain parts. Reception say any complaints must be issued via an online link and take a minimum of 21 days for a reply. They want your money but they don’t care. They don’t even have a telephone number for you to complain to. Appalling company who do not deserve your custom. I have photos to back up my claims, lots of them.
Great site, woeful evening entertainment
Great van and clean site. The real downside was the awful evening entertainment which meant we didn’t get to enjoy what used to be a nice end to the day. Dreadful karaoke style screeching singers. My cat could have done better!
Dog friendly site!
We are unable to quote for entertainment etc. as our “Saver” home did not include.
One of the annoying things was most of the curtains had no rail end stop so curtains dropped off and to repair was impossible even with my small hands.
When you opened the home door on arrival you are greeted with a dirty ,hairy door mat, nice first impression eh !
Not a basin in sight, why not ?
The home itself was not all that clean in general.
The made up bed were a mess, took two of us to correct this, we would have been better to have bought our own.
The dustpan looked like it had been dipped in coffee granules and the hand brush was dirty. On the plus side the shower was good .
We would not go to a dog friendly site again, the owners were in abundance allowing them to pee/ poop anywhere although they appeared to clear up. Why they don’t pull the things into the road to do their business rather than grass areas where children sit and play is beyond belief.
The park itself was clean where we were and staff very pleasant.
Forgot to say one night around 22.15 yoblets ran off after banging loudly on the side of the home.
Personally we would not return to this site as we thought it too large.
Haven hopton on sea rat infestation
Haven hopton on sea Evan though the caravan was clean there was rats running under are caravan and on the steps where we sit contacted haven to say Evan though the park was clean and tidy there's nothing they could do about it iam not blaming the park my review is to warm families with small children and pets to be aware there is large number of rats running around the park day and night and not to leave doors open.
Greenacres - bad experience, very disappointed
Booked a Mon to Fri break at Greenacres in Porthmadoc following a very difficult few months.
We booked via Hoseasons & had an email stating check in was from 12
We arrived at 1pm to be told our accommodation was not ready & would not be ready until 5pm.
We had no choice but to hang around, something we had not envisaged, especially as I have had several spinal operations & find it hard to sit or stand for lengthy periods.
We had the time to look at the facilities & having visited this site many times when my children where young, I can only say that I don’t know how on earth families with children can afford the silly prices for activities. Crazy golf £4 each, hiring a 4 person bike thing £18 an hour !!!! Most things in the small amusement arcade £1 or £2 a go. Bottles of pop £2.80 each etc. looking at the children’s club activities, again these all had a charge £6 each for painting rocks etc.
when we finally found our caravan it had still not been cleaned, we waited outside from 5pm until the cleaning team arrived at 5.45, they took 10 minutes & could clearly be heard using foul language.
They left the toilet dirty with faeces, the plug was missing from the bathroom sink, the riser for the shower was broken making it difficult to shower, the extractor fan in the bathroom was filthy & under the seating around the table there was lots of hair & dust.
No wifi unless you went to reception, we decided to try breakfast in the restaurant one morning but it was shut (they only open a couple of days in low season)
All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone.
However in order to be fair, the reception staff were very friendly, the park was very clean, that’s about all I can say that is positive.
Haven Marton mere
Caravan very clean very enjoyable holiday only down fall was lack of dog waste bins and ones that were over filled looking forward to going again
Haven cleethorpes
Turned up at the correct time caravan wasn't even cleaned or bedding done. All the cleaning staff had finished so i Had to get swapped to another one. Advertised as beach which is literally drive or walk through marsh land. My car was broken Into on site and the way security acted it's a common thing. Never will be booking haven again. Absolutely terrible service . Papa John's delivery was a hour late and cold. Waste of money. Book elsewhere
Thorpe park Cleethorpes poor hygiene
We visited Thorpe Park at Cleethorpes in our motor home. A fantastic location and lots of amenities on site but absolutely let down by poor hygienic and old toilet and shower block. A real shame as this will prevent us from visiting any other haven site. We will stay with the club sites only in future
Went to The Orchard Clacton on sea
Went to The Orchard Clacton on sea. The caravan was nice, comfortable and clean, thank goodness . but !!! The communal areas were dirty the whole site was very dirty, litter everywhere. We went to use the outside pool which was so dirty we would not let children go in. The sitting area around the outside pool was a total mess. Deck chairs, sun loungers dumped any where, tables disgustingly dirty. The fake grass covered with bits of food, cigarette ends, empty bottles and cans, food wrappings, it was a disgrace. It appears you have to download the app to book activities, ??? What if you are unable to download the app??? We went to go in the indoor swimming pool and were ask have you booked, no didn’t know we had to, then we were informed there was no space for the whole weekend we were staying fully booked, could not make a booking, but you can use the outdoor pool. Which we did attempt to do but on seeing the state of pool and surrounding area(as above) my daughter went to the indoor pool to make a complaint, the 4 children were already in their swimwear and extremely disappointed, after some discussion a young gentleman said “bring the children over they can come in” . We were bitterly dissatisfied with the whole experience, the site is extremely large, badly littered, dirty, places that look like a Junkyard, where caravans have been removed, but decking left falling down, old furniture, junk that was an eye sore. Garden areas needed a lot of attention. We decided not to spend time on the site, it was depressing walking around, past junk, over flowing rubbish bins and uncared for areas. I am 77 and booked the weekend as a gift to my daughters and the grand children. I could not down load the App to my phone. Thank goodness we spent 2 lovely days at Brightlingsea and then Frinton which saved our holiday.
Went to Caister-on-Sea haven and paid…
Went to Caister-on-Sea haven and paid £800 for a 7night stay. 4G signal to the holiday home was very poor so couldn't log onto stuff on my phone. WiFi was only available in the pub, club and reception area. Food outlets were overpriced and so was the mini market. The tv in the accommodation had basic channels on if so not much to watch and no dvd player. The beds were awful and extremely uncomfortable that after 2 days we had to leave due both me and hubby having really painful back ache. We had barely any sleep for 2 nights and were bored to tears. Put in an official complaint and now customer relations are refusing to give me any money back because we left of our own accord. Also when we stripped the bed there were yellow stains all over the mattress like dried urine stains it was disgusting. Haven is a nightmare company to deal with if you have a complaint but they are very quick to take your money off you. Will never book a holiday with them ever again. Absolutely disgraceful🤬🤬🤬🤬
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING WE HAVE.GIVEN UP.

Church Farm Awful, dirty Lodge,s nosy owners and no activities available
Booked a lodge last minute for a long weekend £800.
Firstly book in is from 3pm, we got a message saying our booking in will be between 4-5. we arrived to a lovely lady on the gate who gave us our keys and a big smile, but then said not sure if your van is ready yet it all went downhill from there. So we drove around to the lodge, define the cleaner still in progress stop so we decided to park the car and go for a walk we came back 20 minutes later the lodge still hadn't been cleaned. We asked the cleaner how much longer she would be an she said she was waiting for clean bedding. So we went for another walk we return back at the van at 5:00 to 6:00 define the cleaner had still not cleaned the van. When we asked her what was going on she said the site was full and that they had to cleaners off sick.
On entering the lodge we were so disappointed, you could see it was still dirty, there was grease marks down the oven door food debris on the hub and smear marks all up the splashbacks of the cooker. The corner where the bin was stood had food at the walls and there were black scuff marks on the kicker boards and stuck on food on the back of the counter. The sofa was to torn and add a hole in the cushion, the coffee tables were dusty and sticky. The kitchen floor and obviously not been swept as we could see the previous occupant’s food derby by the cooker. The bathrooms were also dirty, the channels in front of the showers are full of month’s worth of dirt. Water marks on the glass doors and the previous occupants sand left in the bottom of the shower trays. The net curtains had dirty stains on them and were torn in places. The carpets had stains and marks on them. Radiators were rusty. The previous occupants dirty sheets had been left on the seat in the hallway. Outside on the decking was even worse the whole place was full of cobwebs debris and dirt, iThe out door chairs were thrown all over the place and the table top was thick with dust and dirt along with this it looked like the decking had not been cleaned all season. Now for £800 for three nights I would have thought we would have at least got a welcome pack but absolutely nothing, so we headed for the shop and bought washing up liquid dishwasher tablets antibacterial surface wipes and Bathroom cleaner. Parking Now considering the lodge sleeps 6 and most cars only seat 5 people we had two cars with us, only one car parking space per lodge. So, we managed to find somewhere else to park the extra car away from the lodge. We were staying in large number 42 Priory view. We thought we'd booked a haven holiday. However, the owner of 46 Priory View obviously thinks he owns the whole site and keeps a sharp lookout For anybody breaking the rules and parking 2 or God forbid 3 cars near the lodge in an empty unused car parking spaces is a massive sin. The occupant of #46 Priory view continue to watch us all weekend making us feel uncomfortable, so when we arrived back at the lodge from the beach on the Saturday with three cars as we had booked a local restaurant for dinner) he was straight out watching what we were doing. The caravan next to us was not occupied so one of our party parked in the parking space as I said previously we were only there to get ready to go out for dinner reservation however #46 took it on himself to come out and explain the rules were only allowed one car and we're not allowed to park anyone else’s parking space despite the occupants of the caravan not being there all weekend #46 preceded to say they're just gone to the shops however we knew different. By the looks of the their van they had not been on site for weeks if not months. Why 46 feels he must police the site I have no idea. The next problem we had was booking activities for our grandchildren, the pools looked lovely everything was booked, the only activity we could book was stuff a bear, he is eight years old and bit to grown up for stuffing bears. The restaurant we only used once Sunday morning for breakfast, you can order from your table using the scanner on your phone. However there was no option for vegetarian on the table order service. We eventually had to go up to the counter in order which really is what we should have done in the first place. When the breakfast arrived, it was OK. However the toast never arrived despite asking several times can you fetch our toast please. Now not only was the activity is non-existent the children's entertainment might as well have been, cheap nasty pre recorded entertainment on a TV screen, what a cop out! I have never ever ever seen anything like it, All those poor children expecting to meet the entertainment team were greeted with a television screen. So as you can see our experience at Haven Church farm was not good. It certainly was not value for money and it certainly was not clean despite choosing their top package .
