Hean Castle Estate - Holiday Cottages Opiniones 

The high standard of accommodation and furnishings, location and friendliness of staff at the Hean Castle Estate Holiday Cottages enabled my wife and I to have a very relaxing comfortable holiday which we will hopefully repeat in the future.

I came across Culverton when searching for accessible holidays in Pembrokeshire, and initial thoughts were well this looks amazing. I enquired about height of bed, whether it had monkey pole, etc. The sort of things needed for a full time wheelchair user. Kim came back to me and advised they’d now bought a monkey pole to add to the equipment guests could use. Excellent.
We arrived for our holiday in May, weather was forecast to be good.
On arrival, we were amazed at Culverton, the rooms, the views were far better than the photos could do justice. We went from room to room saying wow and omg look at this. The kitchen is amazing fully equipped for any type of meal to be prepared. A lovely hamper and welcome card on the side. Thank you. The utility room has washing machine, tumble dryer, etc and even bowls for the dog.
All the equipment we’d requested for my son’s bedroom was there, monkey pole, side guards for bed, adjustable back rest, and elephant feet (although these weren’t needed because height of bed was perfect for his wheelchair). Beds all made up.
The accessible bathroom is a good size with plenty of room to manoeuvre. Towels, shower, hand soap, loo rolls all supplied.
The lounge/dining room is huge, with log burner and large TV, and patio doors leading to enclosed area with wooden furniture. Path leads down to coastal path. Upstairs, the master bedroom with ensuite has a magnificent view out to sea. The third bedroom has single beds. The entire property is furnished to the highest of standards, and helpful staff are close by to offer assistance if needed. It is amazing.
Our first time at Culverton will definitely not be our last.

A beautiful lodge in an ideal location. A fantastic basket of gifts on our arrival. All welsh and local produce. Thoroughly appreciated. Met by one of the managers who was checking the lodge. A very helpful and informative chat. Car park attendants were great too. Lodge was immaculate, extremely comfortable and would thoroughly recommend a stay there.

This was our 2nd stay at White Cottage nestled by Coppet Hall Beach just a very short walk from the cottage
The cottage is beautiful well prepared to a very high standard,with everything you possibly could need but it has a cosy homely relaxing feel.
There was a wonderful varied welcome pack of tasty Welsh goodies and essentials in the fridge.

Our two young grandchildren
age 8 &10yrs loved being so close to the beach and the cottage large enclosed garden allowed them freedom to play safely.
It has a cafe shop and an excellent Resturant on the site too.
Every small detail and all the little extras ensured a simply perfect weeks holiday

We stayed at Culverton which is a superb three bedroom 2 bathroom modern house adapted to meet the needs of disabled people. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with utility room alongside and the there’s an open plan lounge and dining room. The welcoming pack was the largest and most carefully thought out I’ve ever seen. There was even a welcome pack for the dog! The views from the whole property are magnificent overlooking the sea. A footpath through the garden leads right onto the costal path. I went along the path into nearby Wisemansbridge and the Wisemansbridge Inn which is accessible both inside and out. There are many places of interest just a short drive away for both the young and the more mature. Highly recommended.

We stayed a week at “Culverton” Wiseman’s Bridge.The house was beautifully warm on arrival, as it was February we were grateful for that. The house is absolutely stunning with fantastic sea views and a short walk through the grounds to the beach. Everything was immaculate inside and outside. Beautifully furnished, and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, a lot of care and thought in it. The welcome pack was excellent, the best I’ve had in a holiday property. I hope to come back in warmer weather as it’s a lovely part of Wales.

Oh my gosh! What can I say.., you made my husband's 40th! The house is absolutely stunning, has everything you need and more. Two lounges, one for the children with DVDs and one for the adults. Perfection! To arrive to a huge hamper of goodies was a fantastic surprise! A gift and card for hubby too! I cannot fault Hean Castle for their wonderful welcoming and for their incredible home. The finer touches were really appreciated- outdoor log fire all ready to go. Thank you for letting us celebrate in style with you. We made magical memories that we will cherish forever. I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much 😊

We have just had our 3rd stay at White Cottage, and cannot wait to go again! My family and the dog love it, the mornings walking the dog on the beach watching the sunrise are magical. The cottage is fantastically located, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Thank you to Helen and the team for a wonderful week.

This is the third year we have come to Coppet hall lodge and we have enjoyed all three visits tremendously. We have a dog who loves the beach and the lodge also has a secure garden which is reassuring. The location is very close to Saundersfoot and wiseman’s bridge so there is plenty of scope for supplies. On arrival you are presented with a welcome package which is the best we have ever witnessed. The lodge is very clean and has all the amenities that’s required. Just after arrival a representative of Hean castle estate welcomes you and gives you support/contact details for your stay. I would say that this is the best cottage I have hired.

The facilities are perfect.
The welcome is wonderful.
The beach access is beyond compare.

We have spent a week at White Cottage every year since it opened and will continue as long as we are able.

I think we can now class ourselves as HCE regulars having stayed in White Cottage and Coppet Hall Lodge previously. We are returning customers for two reasons, the HCE Leisure Team are second to none in terms of customer service and the properties are sympathetically renovated to a high standard and in great locations.
However, and I hope I am not shooting myself in the foot here, their latest offering, Culverton is simply spectacular in terms of the standard of renovation, the thoughtful design and last but by no means least, the location.
The ever delightful Helen did the meet and greet when we arrived and the pride she took in showing us round was obvious. It is just spectacular.
I know I am too late for next year but I really do hope we manage to book it every year thereafter for our wedding anniversary.

Our family had the most wonderful week at Clicketts Heath. The location was perfect with beautiful sea views and the house was perfect - modern yet cosy and with everything you could think of ready and waiting for you. The garden is huge and provides the perfect backdrop to the cottage. Highly recommend.

Superb accommodation. Very clean and well looked after. Ideal location.

Where to start? Absolutely amazing house; cleanliness was beyond anything I've seen in other places I've stayed - the house is in a prime spot for the beach & walking - short walk into Saundersfoot for shops, pubs & restaurants. We stayed during the heatwave & the house stayed cool although the garden is a sun trap - the 'welcome pack' was more than enough to get you through a couple of days until you could get to the shops. I think I would put this house at the top of all the places I've ever stayed with all the family. An absolute gem.

The cleanest house I have ever stayed in, with a fab welcome pack !!!
It is just off the beach on Coppit hall so you hardly need to use the car.
And super customer service 5*+

We had a fabulous first holiday at the White Cottage at the end of May. It was a great location as both my mother and dog had foot injuries so the level layout and garden was a godsend! The facilities were the best I’ve ever experienced, there was everything you could want and more, especially the welcome hamper which was a lovely surprise. The access gate to Coppett Hall was so useful but still private. Lots of our friends and family enjoyed popping in for a cuppa when they were passing. Great location! The housekeeping and maintenance team were great and helpful. Thank you x

Cannot recommend Hean Castle Holiday cottages highly enough. Always immaculate and so well equipped with everything you could need thought of and a very nice welcome package, The whole team are very helpful. It was lovely to see Helen who checked in on us on our arrival. Kim was so helpful when I had a fall, much appreciated. The peace and tranquillity was just what we need. Just perfect for a holiday. You would be hard pushed to find any where better.
