I am making a formal complaint about Jennifer and the way she handled my Schengen visa application.
Jennifer gave me incorrect advice regarding my travel document and proceeded with my applications, which were subsequently refused due to the document’s validity. I incurred £380 in costs as a direct result.

Despite my request for reimbursement, Jennifer has repeatedly avoided resolving the matter and has refused to pay the amount owed.

I consider the way I was treated completely unacceptable and misleading, and I am requesting that Holidays Experts investigate Jennifer’s conduct and reimburse my £380 losses.

Katherine from Holidays Experts was absolutely amazing! If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have used their services, she kept calling and checking on me for almost a year until I was finally ready to apply for my visa.

She was patient and helpful with good advice and suggestions and even after I applied for the visa and it took forever to be issued, she kept checking on me and encouraging me. I’ll definitely be recommending her!!!

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Service

After researching several agencies, I engaged Holiday Experts to assist with my travel plans and visa applications, starting with Switzerland. Initially, things seemed fine until the application resulted in a rejection due to poorly prepared documents provided by the agency—resulting in a £196 loss (£120 service fee + £76 visa fees). When I informed them, there was zero follow-up or accountability; the representative simply brushed it off and suggested trying another country.

Foolishly giving them a second chance, I trusted them with a Spain visa application for an appointment on August 21. I had to chase them for days just to get my documents, finally receiving them on August 20. Worse still, the agent opted me into a £100 premium service at the visa center without my consent, pushing my total out-of-pocket cost for the Spain application to £310 (£100 Holiday Experts fee + £210 at the visa office, of which £100 was for the unauthorized premium service).

Furthermore, their advice regarding sponsorship was entirely incorrect. They advised me to use my husband as a sponsor, failing to realize that Spain visa requirements mandate that sponsorship letters be legally notarized. Fortunately, the visa center staff recognized that my own bank balance was sufficient and advised me to omit my husband's unnotarized documents entirely, preventing a potential second rejection.

Since Friday, I have tried repeatedly to contact my agent regarding these issues, with zero response. When I finally called their main office today (August 24), all I got to hear was a generic "sorry" and instructions to just wait for the status of the visa, offering zero accountability for the stress, unauthorized charges, and near-miss rejection they caused.

This has been a deeply stressful and costly experience. I will not be using Holiday Experts again, nor will I ever recommend them to friends or family.

I have serious concerns about the reviews and customer experiences connected with Holidays Expert. Some reviews on the profile appear difficult to verify, so I believe Trustpilot should carefully check whether the reviews are from genuine customers and whether they meet its review guidelines.

There also appear to be wider complaints and concerns about the business that deserve proper investigation. I would strongly encourage Trustpilot to independently verify the reviews and look into any complaints submitted by customers.

If you have personally had a problem with Holidays Expert, I recommend keeping all receipts, messages, payment records, and booking information and reporting the matter to the appropriate consumer protection or law-enforcement authorities.

Customers deserve honest information, genuine reviews, and a clear picture before trusting any travel company with their money.

Wrong information was sent
And also wring details entered for the application form. I sent the details to the guy 100 times to get it write , he is so carless , doesnt even read it. I asked him to connect me to one of his senior he ignored . I asked him to give me feedback link he kept rejecting. I would avoid dealing with them again .
You guys are lying. i called the guy hundreds of times and he never picked up . I asked him many times to connect me with his supervisor and he ignores my messages. Run guys from this scammer.

​Save your time and money—do NOT use this company (operating under multiple names like Holiday Experts, Fast Holidays, and Schengen Visa Expert, with payments taken under Fast Fly Travel and Tourism).
​My appointment was on a Monday, and they sent my documents at the very last minute on Sunday, leaving me virtually no time to review them. When I checked, the errors were catastrophic: I explicitly told them I am an unemployed student, yet in the cover letter they wrote that I was employed while telling me to attach my personal bank statement. This glaring contradiction directly caused my visa rejection.
​They manipulate applications by routing people through Iceland visas, use multiple phone numbers, and use fake staff names to avoid accountability when things go wrong. Their gross incompetence and dishonest practices ruined my application. Avoid them at all costs.
